[Q] Weathet widget deleted - LG Optimus 2x

I accidentaly deleted Weather and clock widget from phone how to reinstall it,find a few links here on forum for .apk file but none of them was working.Thanks.

market
look in the market

Already did but of course there is no lg widget just some look-a-likes. No help from Google store

I've been looking for this app to but it seems that LG did a good job by keeping this app of the internet,
kinda sad cause I've deleted to but i really liked it.

Someone can either upload the apk or you can get it in stock rom cwm zip file (eg. Flix123 v20q rebuild), extract the appropriate apk from there.

Do you have stock gingerbread, cm7 or cm9 Rom?

Its stock GB but I update it to stock v20q and have weather back.Thanks.

Ok, that is one of the possible solutions.

[Q] How do I get back stock wallpaper?

Hi Guys, I have accidentally changed my wallpaper with bit of manic swiping .
How do I get the original wallpaper back?
It was the one that came with the ics theme from the kitchen on checkrom.
It doesn't appear when I try to change the wallpaper but I really liked it .
If u have root, go to system/app using root explorer extract twwallpaperchooser.apk
You are done..Built-in Wallpapers are stored in the above mentioned apk.

Edit
Extract stock twwallpaperchooser.apk it has more cool wallpapers which are not visible in gallery/ wallpaper gallery.

That apk is not in my system/app folder. It's a custom rom and a lot of stuff was cut out.
I installed the ICU theme on top of the rom and that is where the background/wallpaper came from. It must be in there somewhere. I have tried re flashing the theme but it still comes up with the new wallpaper.
I'll gladly share the wallpaper if I can get it back
but it's not my work it was in the ICS Domination x1.0 theme.
Works and looks good. Just wish I hadn't messed with it .
I suggest you to download the stockROM which you used before and extract it, then extract the mentioned apk and you have all the images.... a little complicated and not really reasonable considering file size of stockROM but if you desperately need it... ^^
Here is the thread with all the ROMs listed:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1424997
EDIT:
Hey, you are lucky, i just was browsing the wallpaper thread and somebody requested the original stock wallpapers distributed with the Note. Check the thread and download the wallpapers from there:

Zeam launcher without home icon in app drawer

This is Zeam launcher 3.1.10 with the home icon shown in the app drawer being removed. As I hate duplicates, and always map in zeam's settings the home button of my ob as the app drawer one, I just removed it by dropping an empty file. Supporting lcd density changes (modded hdpi & mdpi).
So here you get 2.8.8 (last version suporting scrollable widgets) and 3.1.10 (current as I'm typing) in apk and flashable zip, but no removing already installed one. No more installation fail as I tried...
Of course all credits to Mickael Bentz, zeam's dev (thank you guy). If he comes here, may he please forgive me for not asking permission as this mod is just nothin... PM and I'll remove.
I just wanted to post something back after downloading so much great stuff...
Thank you all. Xda's ob guys rock!
PS: If one braver than me can edit xmls to store the home button config as default in the apk... it'd be cool...
PSbis: Original thread
I am unable to install attached apk
Easiest way to custom it your own on later releases: with winrar, drop an empty file called home_button_normal.png into /res/drawable-hdpi of your freshly downloaded zeam... you'll get no home button in app drawer.
You can also replace icons by yours to unify your icon theme. For the OB, just check /res/drawable /res/drawable-hdpi /res/drawable-land-hdpi. Last one is landscape.
Do it for /res/drawable-mdpi and /res/drawable-land-mdpi if use a changed lcd density.
Others folders are filled with xmls if you're a tought guy...
@_jis_: should work now...
Glad if I helped. Enjoy.
I am still unable to install attached apks. Aren't the apks selfsigned only for your phone? Am I only one who try it install?

I don't understand, if I modify *.apk it'll not work anymore. It must be resigned. But I don't know how to do it.
Try use zipsigner2, available on market to resign the apk.
I have problem with signing modified apk, so I just did this test:
I downloaded original zeamlauncher-3.1.10.apk. I didn't modify this file. I was able to install this file.
Then I launched ZipSigner 2, I set input/output files and signed the file.
I am unable to install signed file, I get message Application not installed.
What I did wrong?
I have Samsung Galaxy W with stock ROM 2.3.6 version.
Edit: Finally I got it.
Despite the fact that I can reinstall original Zeam with original Zeam apk without problem, it is impossible to do reinstall with edited and re-signed Zeam apk. First I must uninstall Zeam and then I can install re-signed apk.
I'll update zips with a wipe of the installed version and testkey signed apks... this evening... may be...

Thanks for the suggestons, i got the dumps i needed but that tool did not work. In the folder res-drawable, there are the icons i need but they are normal ics-style icons and not what I need for the Kindle. I am not sure if anyone knows where the files are located.

Telstra I9305T stock ROM questions

Just wondering if anyone else has had any experience with the stock Telstra ROM (DVALI6), whether it's a bug that I am unable to change my shortcuts on the bottom of the home screen (i.e. where the Apps menu icon is)?

Telstra are just assholes
Using ausdims 4.1.2 I can change them easily but couldn't on stock telstra 4.1.1 firmware.
Although I've since moved onto apex launcher now using the touchwhiz theme to keep the same look and feel but add that extra bit of customisation.
Works well and doesn't interfere with multi Window. .. not that I use it anyway lol

u need to open ur rom in an archiver like winrar for example, and modify the others.xml in \system\csc (u will find edit dock icons or something like that, change to false). In here u can also modify total page count and other things that are locked down by telstra.

How do i do this, do i need to take the rom of the phone and put it back on, or can it be done on the phone via usb?

you can do it on the phone, but you'll need root and a decent file explorer (like Solid Explorer or ES File Explorer)

If already rooted, just edit this line in others.xml file in the \system\csc folder:
<CscFeature_Launcher_ReplaceHotseatAreaInEditMode>FALSE</CscFeature_Launcher_ReplaceHotseatAreaInEditMode>
Save, reboot and then you can edit the dock icons.

help make the root gt-i9305t, please.
If you don't want to overcomplicate things, just install an alternative launcher from the play store such as Nova, or Apex, or Holo (Nova is my pick since ICS). You won't require any hacks, or root access or anything like that.
