You can just select/run them from your download list or your favourite File Explorer (the browser usually stores it in sdcard/download). You have to have "Unknown Sources" allowed in your Settings -> Security menu.

I don't have it installed but I was able to find it on the market using my GTAB.
What ROM your on? I can't find it on Vegan. The only one that shoes up is the one for phones and it doesn't recognize that I'm on WiFi.

I'm on VEGAn Beta 5.1
I have full market capability, Ok.. Maybe its more like 98.9% capabilities.. *lol*
Check this video on getting full market, it really worked for me with this ROM.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7l-nySibzeA&feature=related
Edit: I just installed "NYTimes for Android Phones" and it works fine with the GTAB.
I'll try that later, it tells me there's no connection.
P.s. I hate your tab for having it work lol

both the tablet and phone versions work on mine. Both are really slow though. Really annoying and I probably won't be using, but it does work.

You might be interested in checking out Readers Hub and Zinio with it. The combination will let you subscribe to hundreds of newspapers and almost a hundred magazines. It works great on my gTab running VEGAn beta 5.1.

Pardon the newbie, but how do I install this? I tried renaming to an API, but while that brings up the normal install screen with permissions, it then won't install.

Do not rename it. Copy the zip to your gTab (I use my Download directory) and then launch it by selecting it and it will install. You must have set your gTab to allow for installation of "unknown sources" in your Settings --> Application --> Unknown Sources.
If you're going to be doing a lot of sideloading I would highly recommend you sign up for a free Dropbox account which will allow you to move files back and forth from any device that you install Dropbox on.

So, I already had that in settings, but when I go to "select it", ES File Manager does not give me an option to install. If I "double click" it simply navigates into the ZIP file. Obviously some simple step I'm overlooking?
I flashed it in cwm.

Same problem as renaming to an APK. It starts to install, then quits with no message other than "Application not Installed". I'm wondering if it is checking for something that is (or isn't) present on my G-tab.
I'm running Vegan 5.1 with the ClemSyn kernel if that would make a difference.
I would download it again then flash the zip in cwm. Maybe it got corrupt somehow.

You don't need an "app installer", just a file manager to run the apk.

not even that. just download whatever apk you need directly off the phone. press the notification when done and a apk installer will kick in. thats the only thing you need: the apk

I have had nova prime installed in my Note 3 from day one, but I can't find that file in my phone anywhere.
I drilled down to the folder listed, but that file is not there.

It does not show in that folder (or any other folder doing a complete system search with root explorer) in my phone.
Sorry to hijack the thread although much easier method here guys: refer to my thread.
I figured out an even easier way (I'm not sure why I didn't think of this before)
I have an app in my phone called "app monster pro". It is one of the handiest apps I have ever purchased, I've used it for years.
It backs up every app in your phone (similar to titanium BU), but what's really cool is you can set it to automatically make a "plain style BU" of every app you install.
What this does is save the apk from every app you install to a folder on my external 64 gig card.
I realized I already had the apk's for both the nova prime key & nova launcher. I installed Nova prime with wondershare using those apk's & it works super.
AppMonster is real handy for reinstalling apps after flashing a ROM or factory reset etc.
Yep - same here. I'm gonna do a thorough search and see if I can find it. Using a Galaxy S3 so might be a different directory for some reason.
Look under /data/app paid apps were moved there I believe. At least that is where mine is at.

Use titanium.
Click on app.
Window will popup to backup or uninstall or restore.
Pres on yhe file name which is in yellow color.
It will show you the path of that apk.
Use solid Explorer otr any other one to navigate to that path.
You will find it with the name of pkg. Pkg

cant find the right files

I am able to get the .apk
but not specifcally the pkg.apk
The file just does not exist
I have torrent files of .apks that work to install other apps through wondershare
but when I try to install nova Launcher prime that way it does not work
cannot uninstall regular nova launcher via wondershare either
also trying to figure out how to uninstall nova launcher from the adb commands

Can anyone explain how to use this app? What do i have to do after installing the updates?
Thanx

Who's your best friend?
You must install the framework and then the modules you want to use. You have to activate them and to configure, just open them from the modules list.
Dont forget to reboot

To uninstall modules? Easy, just click on the module for a few seconds and it will pop up with a few options > uninstall.
Sorted.

For uninstall there is a Xposed-disabler zip file that was created with the install of Xposed and you have to flash it through recovery.
Its placed in sdcard.
