Just thought there were some people that wanted to know.
This requires a rooted phone!
Firstly download the Pandora radio apk from a filesharing service or use market-enabler to get access to the American android market and download it from there.
Next, download Orbot from the market. Install it and don't forget to give it root permissions.
Before you press the on button in orbot, go to the app settings and select pandora to run through orbot.
Also check the "transparent proxying" box.
Next, start orbit by pressing the power button on the app to start the service.
Now open Pandora and it should work.
If not, try restarting orbit (kill the task too if it can't start again). Also if it prompts that it isn't available in your country AFTER it has launched, just press the back button and it should work.

I did all the steps you told. When I hit the start button, it turns green n says "Connected to Tor network" but I'm unable to use Pandora. Keeps getting stuck on the initial blue opening screen.
When I check using the check option in the Tor's menu, it gives me "Sorry. You are not using Tor." on my browser. I have set my browser to use Tor (I even tried "Tor Everything" option an rebooting my phone).
p.s. I'm using it over a wi-fi. I hope that isn't an issue.
Update: I checked the ip address it shows is the same as the ip address of my laptop, connected to the same wi-fi.. basically means problem lies with Tor than Pandora..
Appreciate any feedback..
Just wanted to add that Tor is working through the mobile network but on wifi it is giving the above mentioned problem..

I read through it a lot. Couldn't get it to work.
I don't find Proxy settings for WiFi in my system as indicated below.
phone's settings > Wireless & networks > Proxy Setting > set IP to 127.0.0.1 and Port 8118.
May be this option is required to get it to work. Can you enter proxy settings for your WIFI as indicated above.
As when I use the same proxy for mobile data then Orbot works. But I don't wanna use Pandora over my mobile data packet.
Update:
Okay I installed gaeProxy and I can get connected to Tor network now (checked with my browser) but still not able to open Pandora. Maybe I'm not in US proxy with Tor.
I really love Pandora!! But here in Brazil i can't listen anymore... :crying:
Try using Hola Accelerator & Unblocker from the Play Store. You can turn off the acceleration feature. Works fine for me.

Has anyone ever heard of an app or mod that will change what your default apps are based on a pre-defined profile? For example: I have opera mobile and opera mini. I use mobile when I am on wifi, and mini when I am on data network. With this theoretical app/mod, when I click on a link in facebook and am on wifi, it would automatically load opera mobile without asking, but if on 3g, mini. Anyone heard of such a thing?

Not sure, but I've heard good things about Tasker. You might check that to see if it allows default app change based on triggered events.

I hadn't even thought of this, but that's a great idea. The OP could make a widget that would launch the correct browser based on wifi state. I haven't played a lot with the wifi settings in Tasker, but I would be shocked if it couldn't be done.
Edit: I think I figured it out. OP, if you are interested send me a PM and I'll walk you through it.
I'm looking to set up a static IP on my Bionic when it's connected to Wifi. Don't seem to see any place that it will let me do this though.
I'm on the latest stock software, and I'm rooted.
Anybody know how I can set the IP addres on this thing?
On the same page where you'd enter a wifi password check the advanced options box and scroll lower.

I had tried to make my Keyguard go off when I'm at my home wifi, and it simply doesn't work. I'm using tasker and I'm using the same profile as I did on my SGS2 and that was perfect but the HTC One is a bit more trouble some with this setting. If anyone has done this and got it to work successfully please include it. Much appreciated to sharing your time.

I am having the same problem with tasker, I am gonna try older version of tasker!!
I just started using Tasker... and it really works funkily. I have used Tasker itself and Secure Settings, both, to disable the keyguard when I am connected to my WIFi... And sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Sometimes while I am using the phone and hit the Android Home button, it actually goes to the Pattern input lock screen.
I am using CM10 with Action Launcher on a Samsung Galaxy Nexus 16gb GSM
I have a 2013 motoX dev edition on verizon. lately I've been getting toasts whenever the wifi connects or disconnects. It never did this before and I have no clue what changed to turn them on.
How do I turn them off?
Most probably an app you recently installed. Maybe a shortcut or widget, or something that needs to enable WiFi to work. If there is such an app and it's set to show toast, the toast notification can show whenever the WiFi state changes even if the app itself is not the one doing the changing.
So, yeah, look at any apps that have permission to toggle WiFi.
FYI if you don't find the culprit, or another direct solution, and if you have Xposed installed, there is a module called Untoaster you can check out.
Your right! It was the onkyo remote app.
Thanks a ton.
