So I had a good working simcard with AT&T service. Like a paid service with a number and everything. And now it doesnt work. On my phone when I start it, It says NO SIM CARD FOUND. Even though my sim card is in the phone.
Ive earlier was stuck in the HTC boot screen mode. I tried to factory reset and wiped sd card and messed around in partition sd card.. But nothing worked. So i downloaded the old RUU and it restarted everything. And i got out of that. and thats when it said no sim card or Sd card found...
PLEASE HELP ME!
Simcard inserted correctly?
Sent from my HTC PH39100 using XDA
of course... everything is correctly inputed.. Is it because I wiped the sim card.. And it caused my data plan to no work..
Because on my screen it just says NO SIM CARD FOUND!

Hey guys,
I have a Galaxy S i9000 International Version, and I'm in New Zealand. I was running Darky's Rom 10.2 RE, and I tried updating to 10.2.2 Final. I did something stupid, I think I might have had my lagfix on, but I managed to bootloop. I reflashed to a Gingerbread ROM that I had lying around, but my SIM card was no longer recognized. I tried another SIM card, which also didn't work. My SIM card worked in another phone though.
I had a look around, and my IMEI number was still right, so I backed up my EFS, just in case I killed it. I then flashed a local stock Froyo rom, VNZJP3. Still no sim card recognized. So right now, I'm on a Stock Froyo rom, rooted, and I have no idea where to go.
did you flash the roms with sim card in the phone? That could have been the problem, that happened to me.
I took my phone back to shop where i got it and they replaced the sim card and problem fixed.
I did indeed. Other SIM cards don't work in the phone though and the SIM card works in other phones.
FWIW this happened to me (also on a Darkys ROM oddly enough)
After initial panic I simply reflashed the ROM and all was fine.
Silly question but have you enabled all the services (like use packet data etc)
I did reflash my rom, no dice. Also, my services are definitely enabled, but it doesn't actually recognized the SIM card.

I never remove the sim card when flashing. Maybe " airplane " mode is ON.

I have a little problem!
I got a new sim card in my motorola milestone. But the phone keeps rebooting all the time! sometimes i am able to write a text but if i wanna call its too much and a reboot starts!
i have tried another sim card in my phone and it works!
i have tried another phone with my card and it works!
i dont understand if its a sim card problem or phone problem.
i have 2.3.7 kernel 2.6.32.9 cyanogenMod 7.2.0
does anyone help me out?
Tell your carrier that your phone keeps rebooting with the SIM card they gave you and they unless they replace the SIM for free, you see no reason to continue service.
the problem is that my sim card works in other phones.
Now i got my milestone back to the stock and it seems to work.
I think it was the cyano 7 but now without it my phone sucks!
Hello. My i9000 sim card slot was broken Image (on of the three spikes was off)
So I ordered a new one and installed. But its still saying "No sim card inserted" and the "enter pin code" never show up..
I have flashed different 2 roms with odin and re-partition but still the same.
If i put in a external sd card the phone finds it so the part must be powered but i dont know why the sim slot doesn't work!
Any clue someone?

Check IF you inserted sim card correctly, cut corner of sim card should be visible
Its working now. For some reason I had no imei number. I put my efs backup on root and now everything working as it should. :good:
When I try to copy contacts to my sim card, it say "sim card is full or locked, copy failed". My sim card is empty. I have tried the following:
1. Taken my sim card into another phone, and here copying to sim card works as it should.
2. Taken the sim card from the another phone and put into my own. Here says the phone also "sim card is full or locked, copy failed".
3. My SIM card has no trouble finding provider, either on this phone or the other phone.
4. My phone is a rooted HTC Incredible S with HBOOT 6.13 Revolutionary and Vivokat 4.4.2
5. At one time, I have come to press Simlock in HBOOT menu, and I am unsure whether this would have caused the problem. The error is certainly tied to this specific mobile.
Is there any possibility to unlock sim card. I do not know what's locked, but it must be something on the phone itself.
I have tried to find a solution in this forum , but I havent managed to find some workable solutions.

Why do you want to copy contacts to your SIM card? Google does it for you automatically.
