Does anybody got S-Voice working on 2x?
I'm also curious about S-Voice.
And when google will release a Siri's rival for all phones? Maybe they're keeping it for their glasses project ?
I was searching for someone that has installed and got working the S3 extracted apk...I have installed it but I cannot get it to work.
It just works on ICS devices. Maybe it works with CM9.

Yes my O2X has ICS on it, I install it without parsing error but it just does nothing...Do you have installed it on your O2X?
No, I don't like CM9 because of the lack of hw acceleration.
But in some tests you can see, that S-Voice is very bad (at least in Germany).
I keep getting network error when I try to use it. I tried changing the values in build.prop to set device info to "GT-I9300", even tried the readymade one, but same error.

I have seen some tests in Italian (my mother language) and it seems pretty good, usually Italian is poorly supported on this type of apps.

Is there any difference between the two ki2 builds? or is it just for diffrent region? Thank you for sharing.
Flashed it and it feels much better then KI2 posted earlier. This one is built september 17 10:44:39. And very limited languages, UK,US,Indonesia,Malayssia,Philippines, Vietnam and some other i cant read. Also a new kernel with build date same as firmware. Willl do further testing. Also the Samsung keyboard has gotten a face lift.
Guys,
I requested personally to Mr. Admin Sampro.PL to upload the lastest Stock ROM for Malaysia (XME) and within 24 hrs, the admin uploaded it for me. A very generous and kind Admin. Two thumbs up to the Admin!!!
Ref : HERE
edit : lol, Przekret is the said admin. Hello boss!
I'm running the previous kI2. Will this update wipe my device?
Hopefully this will trickle down to a wifi version

I believe you can download the wifi version using check fus 2.0 -- certainly the 3G versions are available -- not at home to confirm but post this as a suggestion for those impatient to try!

have to use version 2.0 and not the older 1.2 of Check Fus. Version 2.0 has an advance menu which then decrypts the downloaded file.
That being said, the issue is moot as I just checked and the most recent downlad there is KI1, no KI2 for the 7510 as yet.
And Dutch Danny has just posted a KI2 rom for the wifi version -- problem solved

Well I have flashed this over previous KI1 - and got a bootloop - startup animation was playing again and again - so had to go to recovery and do a factory reset. After that everything started to work properly. However factory reset deleted everything that was on internal storage - program settings, photo/video etc.
Regarding new firmware - it looks that it keeps more free RAM, so things like starting apps etc seem to be a bit faster. Scrolling of homescreens, however, seems to be less smooth than on KI1. Also one annoying bug in Gallery remains - when opening picture it opens blurry, and you have to zoom it a little so it will redraw and look crisp.

Hey folks, this is my first time messing around with apks so I thought I'd share this.
After playing around with my mother's Transformer I became rather fond of the thumb scroller in the browser so I've taken it for myself.
Anyways, I know its not much but its a nice accessory to the browser - especially when up against long pages.
Be sure to keep copy your current browser in a safe place should something happen.
Here's the link
http://www.mediafire.com/?110eabgnidd9bdc
just installed this - working fine, and I like the thumb browser.
I have lost all my browser favourites.... which for some odd reason won't sync themselves back....
other than that, perfect.
That's odd, that was the first thing I double checked as I didn't want to lose my bookmarks. Being a Google sync thing I didn't think that should happen at all.
This Browser is pretty fast. Works fine here too, also no issues with my bookmarks! Thanks

Can you also get a hold of the framework folder?
Unfortunately, rubio, I'm not sure but looking it up I've found that if the name of the apk has changed that could cause it so make sure it says "browser.apk" and if you are installing it from your SD card make sure it's installing from the internal memory. I hope that helps.

did you follow http://www.mrmuh.com/2012/01/update-a-motorola-milestone-from-motorola-firmware-to-cyanogenmod-7/ ?
if not use this guide replace cm7 with cm9.1.0d

I fixed the problem already but forgot to erase this trend... the problem was after wipe I installed CM9 and Gapps together and got that problem... after wiping all again I installed CM9 rebooted and installed Gapps and worked fine.
Still have no idea what that bug ever happened but i fixed
But I changed CM9 to CM7 cause my battery was dropping from 100 to 0 in 4 hours, not good if I'm too much time out of home. Thanks anyway for your interest
