[Q] Dual Boot Samsung Galaxy Mini

How do I dual boot (with two different roms) a Samsung Galaxy Mini GS-5570

This is still a dream..
If it was possible, there should have been a lot of links for this by now..
Maybe someone might be able to do it in the near future..

ahh yes it is possible.. sorry.. but no one has done it yet.. it has to do something with the kernel loop thing..

if it can be done then the sytem rom's size should be atleast 700 mb to hold the both rom and we dont have this size, when a company create the dvice it give merely 60 mb extra space to the rom for future update

That is also why I'm considering. Where the ROMs can be placed. Our ROM memory is too low to be able to contain 2 custom ROMs.

Boot manager can install 1 Tom on phone and other 5(!!!) in sdcard.I tried on Samsung Galaxymini, but it fails.

Samsung galaxy Ace S5380i

I have looked at a few threads already but nothing seems to be working, i have a s5380i i have followed a tutorial on this site but it didnt work for this device now its stuck on the boot screen i can acess 3e recovery and download mode. however when i try to use odin 4.38 (multidownloader) it is not recognizing the phone.
please could someone. give me clear concise instructions.
i cant seem to make sense of this phone.
i havent had any problems with my s2 , or n7000 before and im stumped please help

e: no such file or directory..
stuck on boot screen on boot.
multilauncher odin will not recognize the phone .
odin v1.85 will recognize..
S5830iXXLD3_S5830iBTULC1_S5830iXXLD2_HOME.tar << this is supposed to be the firmware for the ace what do i do with it. i will never try to put a rom on for a friend again.

Flash with Odin.Search Youtube,the steps are same,only your files are different.

Firstly you have to setup KİES on your Pc ;
You need Odin which is compatible for your mobile device , OPS file and Offical ROM ( from samfirmware ).
Be careful for 5830i selections because your for is very different from 5830.
Don't download any other rom from 5830i.
Just google pls.

Any ROM C / M i work, do what people say!

After installing [ROM][S5830i] Retribution Rom [alpha] my phone doesnt start

Like the title says, after installing that rom, my Saumsung Galaxy s5830 doesnt start at all. I cant even access to recovery mode because it doesnt boot at all. everything was working fine until i updated to the rom mentioned, then send reboot and never started again. Please help me, im really esperate, i have tried removing battery, sd and even sim without any luck, no signs of lifel. Thanks in advance

If you can reach download mode, odin will work. Otherwise you have to send it to the service center or repair it with jtag(by removing the motherboard out! )
S5830i does not have a seperate section!!

Ok, i got it, and yes, it would be a great help if there were a thread for S5830i only, or at least to mention a "Warning, not s5830 but 5830i" on the topic title. Anyways whats done its done.
One last question, i've been searching about methods to revive it from hard brick. The options i've found is to contact customer service, to use the riff jtag.
The last option im not sure is, and if you could be so kindly to answer; does the usb jig works to reset from hard birkc?

There is a link in the video description to download the updated Gooapple rom, i think it can be used to port it to the Galaxy Ace. Or use this with almost all stock bugs fixed: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1729056

I got a gooapple 3g's rom and Im working on porting it.....
Its almost the same specs.

Got the rom from a chinese site.
But I dont know whether the rom is froyo or gingerbread.
If its gingerbread, it will work.
I will try to do it this weekend if possible.

I know that....
But I did not unpack system.img yet. I think I have to do it in Android kitchen when I get some free time. My mom aimt letting me touch my pc due to exams. Maybe I'll try it during this weekend.
But if the rom is froyo, it would suck.
So I have to just use froyo drivers or abandon it.

Not based on CM....But it is the best iPhone themed Android rom currently available!!

I have to redownload the rom from that slow chinese server again......:banghead:
Lets see if Im able to unpack system.img successfully otherwise I have to search for a new rom package....
Anyone who can try to find the link for a gingerbread rom package of Gooapple 3G will be greatly appreciated. :thumbup:

I was even developin for sIII and i got a system.img...
Power iso or magic iso wont work...its another method that worked for me
Ill get back to this thread in some hours..and ill give you instructions on how to do it...

But I just got to know by seeing build.prop that Android version is 2.2.3(froyo)
I have to look for a Gingerbread rom for porting now....
I heard somewhere that Gooapple 3G can be upgraded to gingerbread....But all the dl links for the gingerbread rom are dead...
Let me search for sometime and then I'll inform....:-/

I emailed a user who has the phone asking for a system dump.
BTW I tried out the apps of Gooapple. They have included two launchers, one the iPhone style and the other the stock android launcher.
The stock android launcher works perfectly in CM7 but all the Gooapple apps get launched for one second and then close without any warning. I think they require a framework or some libs.
I need some help on this....

Yup. Should be libs.
Try getting the logcat..
for that just check up some guides, and you'll need to download Android-SDK. Even download Dsixda kitchen and apkmanager..they might be helpful later.
Do you have unlimited internet or a data plan?
Or else, you can upload the files to MediaFire. And i'll download and do some tests, and even try to help you port.

Nobody likes shouting. On the internet, when you use capitals, it means you're shouting, and that hurts my e-ears..

Are you blind or totally lazy guy and can't find in development or general section why? I was wrote in #3 post why sim card doesn't work. JUST SEARCH AND READ BEFORE YOU POST ! Damn it
