Hi, I live in Egypt for a while and I bought last month a Mini. Everything was going just fine, I was using Odin many times to try new roms, and CWM Recovery to give a try to custom roms, without problems. Yesterday morning I flashed my device with the 2.3.6 rom that I found on this forum, apparently made for Latin America. Since that moment, my mobile is on boot loop, i can't do anything, I only can access downloading mode, I tried to reflash gingerbread 2.3.4, and2.3.5, it goes well, Odin gives me the PASS message, but still my mobile is forever rebooting at Samsung logo. I can't access recovery.
What to do? Is it bricked and do I have to send it to Samsung Center or is there hope to fix it by myself?

u cant even enter recovery?if u can,just wipe cache and data..

Just remove the battery and stop your phone.
Put the battery in again.
Go to recovery mode by pressing Home + Power button at the same time.
In the reocevey choose wipe data/factory reset option.
Reboot your device after you are done.
You mobile will boot up fine.
Thank you for your answers but I wanna insists on a point: I can't access recovery at all, the phone show me the samsung logo for about half a second then restarts, and is looping in this state. No recovery, only downloading mode and RAMDUMP Mode (ARM9 mode) & Emergency Dload Mode (ARM9 Mode). Nothing else is avalaible.

hey man i've already had that problem..coz i flash 2.3.6 and encountered same problem but i manage to fix it.. you need to enter recovery mode... Note: you need to hold the home & power button and wait for the samsung logo to flash TWICE (2X),when the 2nd logo flash, just realease the buttons and your on recovery mode.just wipe/ data reset.. right now im using Ginger bread 2.3.6JKVT and its rooted also.

Connect your phone to your laptop.
Use ADB
Type this :
adb shell reboot recovery
That will take you to download mode,then you can flash rom again. It would be easier if you have a CWM installed

If you can't access recovery either falsh CWM recovery or Flash another firmware from Download mode. If you want to flash CWM recovery just follow the link below for Galaxy Mini and search CWM recovery.
I tried many times, since i have this problem, to flash and reflash, official roms, CWR, but nothing works, setup goes fine according to Odin, but still have the problem on my phone, still only downloading mode works, and still a flashing screen, just during the samsung logo.
No one can help me with my mobile???

did you wait for the samsumg logo to flash tiwce while holding the combo key? you see when im installing firmware using odin my laptop turn off coz i dont have a battery i thought my mini was brick because the process was not finish,so what happen i tried to acces recovery mode its only shows a computer icon & phone icon. but i manage to fix the problem i go to download mode and flash again another firmware. and everything goes fine..so how come that you cant access recorvery...i would suggest that you flash a firmware with 4 parts not a single package.

As long as you can enter download mode... you are safe. If you can... just flash it back with Odin.

Try booting up without micro sd nor sim card.

my phone cannot power on, and ONLY download mode only working.
i flashed it for so many time too, and it doesn't seem to fix the problem.
so any fix on this ?

I had the exact same issue, only Download Mode and RAM Dump, but could not enter recovery mode. Tried flashing many ROMs, oneclick unbrick, Heimdall recovery etc. but still no solutions available, I tried many-many tricks with no luck. So I went to Samsung Service Center, and it turned out that the problem is in the mainboard. It took me one night before Samsung replaced the mainboard from my phone and it's been working well since. All free of charge.
I hope your warranty is still valid. Good luck.

reflash the XXKPI/XXKPK 2.3.4 then flash the cmw, xxkpi and xxkpk is the safest stock gb rom to install
Flash odin and go to recovery mode and wipe.
It should work.

My wife has somehow managed to get her galaxy mini stuck in a boot loop. USB debug was not enabled before this happened and I cannot see the phone with adb. I can get to download mode, does anyone have any suggestions on how to go from here?

what is the current rom? try wipe data/factory reset in recovery.. but user apps will be gone and settings will be back to default..

Install kies in ur pc
Install odin for mini
Dwnload tass.ops
Check for working usb cable and port
Dwnld any stock firmware from samfirmwares.com
Extract its contents and place it anywhere in pc
Keep ur phone in download mode...power+centre+down buttons when phone is off
Connect to pc while running odin
If odin detects your device ( to check this, observe a yellow bar in COM1 AFTER connectin phone)
Click one package, select ops, select tar.md5(stock firmware)
Push start
Have some water take a potty break
When a blue colour in COM1 is shown with pass in it...THEN ONLY DISSCONNECT THE PHONE
THE ABOVE STEP IS VVVVERY IMPORTANT
Use ur phone like before

Thanks for the replies. I will try odin, im wondering if odin will work if I cannot see the phone with adb? It is currently stock everything as it was out of the box. The first thing I did was the factory reset but it diddnt help.

If ur from any cm7 or cm9 then this is useful.
first flash GB using odins u see the samsung logo boot looping now close the odins ,remove the battery,reinsert it and now enter into recovery and wipe data and cache. (I do the same thing when I flash gb from cm9)

I have tried many times but after completing the flashing process, while the phone rebooting remains blinking without starting up..

flash stock rom using odin
it will show same problem ,now move into normal recovery mode.[not CWM]
wipe data
Again flash stock rom using odin. IT Works

After flashing also I can't enter into recovery... the phone blinks with showing samsung logo when i press the combination..
did you released the keys when you see the Samsung screen

sorry yaar I have tried but now no samsung logo. I can only enter into download mode only. And after flashing while rebooting the phone starts blinking. Can anyone tell me wether its a brick problem or mother board failure or any other type of problem. The warranty has been expired and I have taken it out to samsung care and they told me that the mother board failure and it costs rs 4000 for the replacement. Shall I show it to outside samsung care or what?????? Please solve my problem please............

frst i flashed some rom used for a day
then again flashed stock rom...i got same problem told (screen struck & samsung logo blinking)
i ws trying for a 3 hrs & finally
then i did as told in earlier post & it worked......

now the phone won't start, whenever I connect it to PC the screen starts blinking...

Can you access download mode? Of you can't I fear you'll have to take it to a Samsung assistence center

If you flashed I9070 firmware on I9070P phone you hardbricked it.
When I go to the store I bought it will they fix it?for how much?

They need to change motherboard, I am not sure how much but it is not little.

Does it still power on and wont i continu with boot ????
or does nothing happen at all ?
i had faillure with booting once but when i connected to pc and start up odin , it still recognized the phone and was able to flash back to stock and download other rom which is now on my phone ..

I have Korean version N950N. I flashed twrp and then i rooted to phone. Today i decided to flash stock rom with Odin. When i started the flash approx %80 odin was stop and i wait more than 1 hour then i pulled out the cable. Now phone give some error (its Korean language ) and i can access to download mode. I tried with 2 different rom but after %80 odin stop again. Now i can not use my phone even i can not turn off always giving error. How can i solve this problem? Please help me. Thank you.

When i connected to smart switch its also said this phone not supported...

I can not most probably , also now battery is off and i forget my cable at office Tomorrow i will try one more time. But o with phone i can access only download mode, with smart switch giving error as well.
Well ,i solved the problem. I downloaded last version of stock rom and i changed odin as well. Now phone is working. For the S-health i downloaded old version and after that i updated with play store then S-health working properly.

I Hi am wondering if you could help with my Galaxy Note 8
I am able to install the firmware using ODIN without any errors on download mode but after ODIN is finished the phone turns off and does not boot.
I have taken the phone to a repair shop as well and they have confirmed that there is no hardware issues,
My model number is SM-950F , basically stuck on download mode
No luck turning the phone on recovery mode only can use download mode and i have tried the same files with the Nand erase all, the same thing .. Odin installs all the files without any errors but does not boot up after installation is finished.
The service shop said they checked components on the motherboard and there is no damage or no IC has been damaged.
What do you suggest i do next?
