yes sir...stable naman sya naka custom rom ksi ako

for several kernels built by AOSP (Humberos, cdesai), failed on 1.4Ghz although without any UV, but on my experience, AOKP's kernel (stimpzor) success on that freq with slight UV (-25mv). Just my experience. exactly u must use their roms
Sorry for my bad english. TQ

i have experienced when using Dip7 rom (2.3.3 dxjpi) n his kernel (based on koxudaxi kernel), 1,4 Ghz (-25mv UV) run smooth like butter, without problem.

Smoothest + fastest kernel + rom

Hi there. Was just wondering what combination of rom and kernel have you found to be the smoothest and fastest. In short I'd like to know how to get the most out of my phone. Thanks guys.

Hi.
to get most of your phone in what???
Best stable phone/sms/mms?
PDA?
SatNav?
Gaming?
Bricking phone?
be more specific, pal.
Loll sorry dude just like opening apps and swiping through screens.. Maybe my sd card is clogged ha

true. there is BIG difference between class 2 and class 10.
My favorite:
Tornado-kernel .... with stock-rom or modded stock-rom

you will be the only one who can choose your Fastest/Smoothest ROM cause peoples have different taste on their roms..
my personal preference is
F1 Innovation HD 7.0
Semaphore 2.4
and
MyICS rom
my preference is
F1 Innovation HD 7.0 + Semaphore 2.4
or
GingerReal2 R2.0.0 + Semaphore 2.4 + Thunderbolt script
My favourite: F1 powered by Semaphore.
Sometimes I'm switching to Supersonic with Galaxian.

Overclocking Onecosmic's ICS RC3

I flashed Onecosmic's ICS RC3 and Have downloaded NStools from market but so far all the frequencies I've tried for Overclocking are not stable. So I was wondering if someone has succeded in overclocking the rom with stability could share their values here. All the stuff, live oc,processor frequency and voltages.
Hi. Have you read this guide ?
why do you want to oc, first wait til there is a stable version of ICS ;-)
Im running Onecosmic's ICS RC3 and allready now its fast

Ya I've read that and I've triead almost all frequencies shbmitted their and i can't get a stable configuration on any of them. And that is for glitch kernel and Onecosmic's RC3 is using Platypus so i thought that maybe I can get some different settings that will work. Anyways, thanx.
Do you have problems with oc only in ICS? Maybe try another kernel! I used RC2.11 with a few different kernels, but a little oc (1200+5%live oc) always worked for me.
I overclocked it to 1460

So from what i understand u have not used live oc and have just oc'ed ur processor?
End result???
So did you finally succeed? I have tried quite a few voltages, and the maximum my phone has stayed up with any OC/Custom voltage setting is a few minutes.

It's not that I'm not satisfied with the kernel I run, it's just that I'm certain there's some better one out there.
EDIT: What do you think of the kernel labeled Tiamat_N1-v4.1.0? From here: http://tiamat-dev.com/mahimahi/
the kernel you mentioned is what i am currently using as testing so far its working good with MIUI 2.3.23 and it offers up to 1.2GHZ overclocking which is not stable on my nexus at least

Any overclock beyond 1113 Mhz is unstable.

sry for my noob question. but is the kernel jus for oc purpose or for overall performance(battery life, call audio quality, smoothness etc)?
cos i am happy with stock kernel. no issues at all
Sent from my Nexus One using Tapatalk
the stock kernel was good for me to it did not give me any trouble but i like to mess around with my devices the change log for the kernel can be found here
Code:
http://tiamat-dev.com/8x50-changes/
as you can see there are a few improvements to the kernel with each update
I have been having 3G mobile network issue with CM7 base ROM. On certain location, I cannot download and make or receive calls. my 3G icon arrows show upload activities but no download happening. My ISP name (Maxis Malaysia) showing as normal. I upgraded to CM7.2, tried Kang ROM, preshoot kernel and change new SIM card but doesn't help. Anyone has any ideas on this problem? ROM or Kernel issue? Thank you.

Which do you find best out of pershoot's kernel, IntersectRaven's kernel or tiamat's GB kernel?

Wildmonks [Kernel] [2.6.38.8 (CM7)] HAVS/SVS + 1152MHz (09/17/11)
is the best I have seen so far, used it for months and often thought I was glad I did because it seemed more stable than stock !

Kernel for performance

Hello all,
I am currently running the CM10.1 (Android 4.2.1) with stock kernel. I've been searching for a kernel to install but that's where I've encountered a problem - I'm pretty new here..
So, what are your suggestions for a kernel? The only thing I care is performance!
