Script [AMARULLZ DATA TO SD-EXT(A2SDX)] Modified

Biggest problem with the original script was that it swapped your internal memory with your ext. partition. Leaving your dalvik cache on your true internal memory. As time went by I noticed that the more apps I installed my true internal memory got smaller and smaller So I modified the script so that the dalvik cache also got moved to the ext. partition! Bye doing so, your only limitation to how many apps you can install depends on your ext. partition size!

Installation:
1. Download attached zip copy to sd card
2. Boot into CWM > Mount System
3. Flash the zip file
4. Reboot system
5. Don't forget to hit"THANKS"
Note: Works best on newly flashed ROM's with no apps yet installed.

Nothings changed in the script, only the location of the dalvik cache.

this script would be useful for newest andro-id rom with its lackness of app2sd solution, thx

None so far! But then again the class of your SD Card always plays a factor. I have 75 apps installed and it's still running smooth!

No you will not need A2SD, this script automatically move newly installed apps to the ext. partition.

well, will definetly try this script, im really a big fan of this script, but i hate it when it starts slowing down my device.... i hope this is a beauty. thanks

still under testing/observation here sir.

i have been using amarullz since i started using squad's rom.and it is working very nice, as well as this modded version.so far no bugs have arrived my way.
perfomance still the same like the original version so i think i can suggest using it.;]
can press "Thanks" if i helped.;]

I WAS happy about it then it began to lag.

what rom you are using ?
after seeing your screenshot , the internal storage is 1GB :O ?

Course he is using a mini.. that's what the amarulz script do.. if you have a 2gb sd-ext, then you'll have 2gb internal memory..

Use external sd card as internal sd card?

I have a samsung galaxy gt-i9001 and I am a big fan of gameloft and there games. I play a lot of different games on my phone. But slowly my internal sd card begins to fill up. Now i only have 5 mb left. But i have a 16 gb micro sd card. And there is plenty of memory left there. I was wondering if it is possible to mount my external sd card as my internal sd card, so there will be more space for games and other files needed for apps. Currently i am on the latest cm9 rom. But i am willing to change this.
Also sorry if this question allready was answerd in a different thread. I googled the question but nothing came up.
Also sorry for bad english.

No. Thats not it. Thanks for reply anyway. I would like that my phone "thinks" that my external sd card, my internal sd card is. (Sorry for bad english) so that then actually swap. So when a game saved data automatically on the internal sd card, it will actually be stored on my external sd card... but the apps think they store data in internal...
Am i so unclear?

That was same as icloud said i should do. Even though it wasn't meant for cm9, i decided to.just try it and it worked! awsome! now i have 14.83 gb internal memory

The vold.fstab way is not working in Android 4.4 KitKat ... but upto 4.2.2 this way worked nicely.

Help : SD card problem !!

Unable to format SDHC class 4 memory card(8 GB)
Actually tried many methods but when format is completed I get full 7.39 GB but when I put my SD back to Ace, all the data is restored!!!(Music,Vids,images,apks, n some misc..)
Can anyone help me to sort out this problem.
I cannot delete/add anything on SD....
Its just like read only external drive..

are u using a a2sd ? it possible cause your problem
try another app to format like mini tool partition wizard or just deleted script or app like a2sd from ACE

You can't physically increase the phones internal memory size, but your SD partition can be any size you wish. I assume your looking to use your SD card to store apps?

ok, now we are 2 with the same question...
i have samsung galaxy ace and i´m testing P.A.C ROM JB 4.2.2
does exist any APP or SCRIPT or SDK CODE or any ABRACADABRA WORDS to make SD card to internal memory for APPS and CACHE
please help!
