[Q] JM8 firmware Arabic?

Does the JM8 firmware have Arabic in the Samsung keyboard and can read Arabic???

The only firmwares that officially support Arabic are: JG8(2.1) and JP4(2.2).
so.. no, JM8 doesnt support Arabic

I couldn't text and call even my sim card is inside the mobile and i got only Emergency calls... after i flashed my i9000...
what can i do? can you help me?

where do i find the download files of this jg8 firmware

Revert back to 2.2

Can anybody give me instructions to revert the galaxy back to 2.2 after upgrading it to 2.3?

Download a froyo firmware from Samfirmware.com and repeat the same process u did while upgrading to gingerbread..

FIRST
DOWNLOAD A FIRMWARE WITH FULL FLASH FILES FOR EG : i will take this
S5570BUKB1 because it has all the files require to downgrade SGM to 2.2.1
flash it with odin while using the same tass.ops file for the downgrade
the flash it again with
S5570DDKC1
for getting samsung galaxy pop indian version
and walla back to your original phone

So i have done this to 10 of our staff phones (gone back to 2.2.1 because of an acceleration bug in 2.3) but my computer crashed mid thru phone 11, and is now the phone is completly un-responsive, no download mode. no recovery, nothing,
Any advise?

First, try connecting it to a charger. If no go, try removing the battery and press the power button for 10 seconds without the battery. Attach the battery back and then try to power it on again.
If you can't get it to power on even in Download mode, I guess it's probably bricked.
Not sure if the jig method will work though..

Hey guys. I have emanon v4 on my mini and i want to downgrade to 2.2 official but to be able to upgrade to 2.3 official from kies. Is that possible ?
My baseband is S5570XXKPI, kernel [email protected] #1 and the built number is GINGERBREAD.WMKPJ
Hope someone can help me . Thanks in advice

Install 2.2.1 for your region. S5570XWKA7 / S5570XWKAB / S5570XWKB2 can be your choice.. Instructions on how to flash through Odin is also there.. Read and search the blogs.. I know all the resources you need are there.. Best of Luck!

As you want to downgrade from Android 2.3 to 2.2, you need to flash any stock FROYO ROM having 4 files using ODIN first... then flash your regional stock 2.2 over it (if its not already the 4 file ROM you flashed)...

Me too i have the same thing i have tried Regina Rom its the best rom till now [[ It supports Arabic ]] Its Good but Peter's Rom is Better but it doesnt support Arabic Ahmad Here from Egypt

i think you can ask him how to add it to his rom... 3 roms only available... devs are waiting for jb

get stock rom from sammobile.com it is the best soft for gm 2. i never seen faster than stock soft.

[Q] Arabic language for galaxy mini 2 GT S6500

I have a new bought Galaxy mini 2 GT s6500, fresh buy from dealer.
I want to install Arabic language for messaging and typing. Now I can type Arabic, but the letters are not combined, I mean it displays separate Arabic letters. I tried looking for apps but no use.
Do I need to root or something like that? Because I'm a noob.

As far as I know, there's no Arabic firmware for GT-S6500, sadly. So there's no way to have native Arabic language.

i got S6500DJPLD1_S6500DOJPLC2_EGY.zip from an arabic websit i am testing now and will let you know if it works

I have a EU version of the GT-S6500 and i uploded the arabic rom from Egy as PDA only and you will get an error eventualy but whe you restart your phone it has arabic and with no problems

U can flash S6500D
I flashed my S6500 using S6500D firmware (S6500DJPLJ1_S6500DOJPLJ1_S6500DJPLI1_HOME.tar.md5)
Note: u will got failed at the end... but it will work in arabic.
