Hi, I was wondering if I can ask for a replacement when my note screen looks really greenish. Compared to the Psvita on the picture (which also has AMOLED screen), it looks much worse. Especially the white color just looks green. I notice it a lot.
Also had one more question, I flashed a stock german ICS ROM with odin over the GB one that came with my note. Do I have to flash back to stock GB or can I just keep stock ICS when I send it back to Samsung?
Thanks!

Well, you could give it a try, but don't expect to much of it, cuz the screen is not defective. If understood correctly slightly tinting (yellow, blue, green etc.) is a 'natural' part of the amoled technique.
Anywayz....give it a go but revert back to your stock GB first, just to be sure.
In case you won't get a replacement, my screen is kinda yellowish (compaired to my hubby's Note) and i use a screen filter ('filter your screen' from Kovic, it's in PlayStore) that works very well, it's not a fix but a workaround though.
Good luck!
I'd say - replace it. Come on, i understand that AMOLED screen might have tints, but this is clearly wrong.

I just flashed a at&t Tilt with the original HTC ROM :
RUU_Kaiser_HTC_WWE_1.56.405.5_radio_sign_22.45.88.07_1.27.12.11_Ship
I am seeing a wierd thin orange line (vertical) across the camera screen. This also shows in the pics. Has anyone faced this problem ?
Mine has had this problem for about 2 months now, I have a vertical orange and horizontal gray line messing my pics up.. I guess the only way to fix it is through warranty, tho atm I can't afford to lose my Kaiser for a month.
Funny thing is that the first time it happened, it went away after 2 days, and then came back on in a week, never to go away again
Several radios, roms etc tested, it's an internal problem, since it's not the lens either
i've the same problem... sometimes the lines go away, but I think I'll need to get it repaired....
Just so everyone knows what we're talking about:

I get the same issue, always 2 lines - one vertical, one horizontal. Soft reset sometimes fixes the problem, sometimes it doesn't. It comes and goes. Very strange!
I just got a replacement N7 since my first one stopped turning on or charging and this replacement one seems iffy. This little spot on the screen is always there, and is only not visible on black screens.
Any thoughts on what it is?
Attached is the best pic I could get of it...

Hi, lostchopstik...
Could be 'stuck' pixels....
I assume you've tried rotating the tab to see if it would move/go away?
Try installing one of the many SCREEN TEST apps from PlayStore.... you can scroll through various test screens.
If the 'artifact' refuses to disappear, and if it's something that's too much of an irritant to live with...
...get another replacement...
It's just not worth the hassle of being bugged by some screen defect... if that's ALL you're going to be looking for, EVERY time you turn on your tab.
Rgrds,
Ged.
Just got this phone today and notice an area where there is a reddish tint. It is a 2 inch horizontal band in the center of the display most noticeable on white backgrounds. Is this something that might go away after a break in period? Has anyone seen this before?
I am having a similar issue to the one you describe. Mine has a bit more of a pinkish hue, and it is at the bottom of 1-2 inches of the screen. Shows up more on white backgrounds. Trying to decide if I should get a replacement or not. It's very subtle, but I can definitely see it.

Well, now I don't know if I should get this replaced. Took a picture with it on an all white screen...

I'm thinking about returning as well, but afraid that I'll get one that is worse.
Ive started to use the s pen more and ive noticed the right side of the screen has a section which wo t detect my stylus pen. Its like anti pen, the pointer goes around that spot. Anyone else have this? Im running dark stalker + dpi adjusted.

Should i flash to stock and go to t mobile?
Go back to stock and test the s pen again. Make a backup of your ROM.
If it's the same in Stock, then you need to get the phone replaced.
I had the same issue when i got the phone. I had to have it returned for a brand new one due to this. Sometimes the screens pressure sense fails. On my replacement, there were points where i would pull out pen and try to screen shot and the screen would flash as if capturing a screenshot and then no options provided. I thought i was going to have to return another one but then the new update fixed the issue. I dont know why lol. But my second device seems to be working right now. Call tmo and tell them whats going on. If its within the 14 days, request a brand new one.

In a way yes, this is the first generation of plastic OLED, and no it isn't exactly perfect. My screen is also a bit grainy.

I've gotten used to it. It is what it is. The overall speed and, for the lack of better description, joy, of using this phone, imho far outweighs the paper-like graininess of the display.
And I actually have come to enjoy the more 'natural feeling' it has. I look at my note 2 and it almost seems 'plastic' looking, if that's understandable at all.
