I use Prometheus rom and kernel. It is v21e and your phone will think it is an 920 instead of 925. But it has worked great for me in US with at&t on my thrill with v20p baseband.
You have to go to optimus 3d development thread to get it.

Pretty much anything that has been developed for the P925 and the P920 has been very well compiled and has worked wonders for our devices. Use what works best for you!

So you are using v20p then? All you had to do was flash the rom and kernel and its working well? I've checked out that forum and have wanted to give it a shot but am kind of nervous to flash another baseband because I've never done it. Also, did you use the "+" rom and kernel or the plain one? Thanks for any help offered!

Yes im on V20p baseband. Just do your wipes then flash 1.4 v21e rom let boot then reboot and go into recovery and flash 1.4 + kernel.

Promethius Kernel V1.5.3
Hi....., Right now i am using new kernel Promethius Kernel V1.5.3 21E version on my Thrill with V20p. The kernel working perfect and not lag at all. Go ahead Backup and flash it......
Yeah I've been using the Prometheus v20e 1.4+ on v20p thrill for a little over a week now. Good to hear the 1.5 is working well, I'll give that a shot this week

This rom works great I tried it with only minimal issues but I went back to my lestatious biohazard it seems and is snappier for now things can change tho also I am on v20c rogers firmware cause you have more oc options

I am running Thrill Seeker 2.0 with a few tweaks on my v20p Thrill.
Working great as a daily right now. Very snappy with good signal and great battery life.
Installed cleanly right over my stock v20p update after clearing Cache and Dalvik Cache - no factory reset needed, but I did have to uninstall/reinstall Go Launcher to get my icons and stuff working properly. All programs and settings stayed intact.
I'm running thrill seeker 2.1 and love it! The phone runs quickly and smoothly for me too, CallMeAria did a great job with it so far, and it was a piece of cake to install. I would like to try lestats biohazard rom but i think its a bit over my head right now as far as all development goes. But these forums and devs are really helpful, I should be able to figure it pretty soon

Acidhazard as it is named now is rather easy to install flash and use the dark lestat gives very good and thorough instructions and with as many people who are useing it I am now on 20p overclocked I thought that wouldn't had happened so soon

Bestiaginger kernel works for rooted 20c from rogers no issues and still great battery I have not had a rom work like this and I've tried all the rooms in the lg 3d forum.
So if you wanna go faster and smoother try this kernel. And I've also used v6 supercharger and kernelizer. This has been the best the phone has ever worked. So well that there is no lag and good mem usage now too since putting in the Bestiaginger kernal.

Flash the P920 version. This is the only version that works with a Gingerbread baseband.
I use acidhazard for me its the best the whole phone works not just bits n pieces

So you can flash that rom no problem? I've read on it some in the O3D forum and it looks great, but wasn't sure if it would work well with the p925 and v20p

if you flash the plus rom and kernel you should be fine but the non plus will render your phone useless without a signal

Have used every p925 and 920 rom there is on this site. Acidhazard 4 is the best one hands down. Acura roms are damn fine also. Cyanogen has been a dissapointment for the gb baseband so far but i will give em a few more chances to get it right. Have had a few kernel issues with 1300 but 1188 is 99% stable. Most issues happen during charging for some reason.

do you like CM7? cuz i did like it at all. i couldnt set up my emails and i get the play store anywhere which sucked. but i wanna flash a new rom cuz i cant go back to the updated stock rom. so i have to settle for something else

Its not a bad phone. Its a bit quirky but really fast and comfortable.
I liked cm7 for the froyo version but it pretty much sucks for the gb. But most of the roms available are pretty stable. Acidhazard is very stable. Most kernels are screwed but I'm using thrill seeker 3.1 and its at 1300. Seems good so far. Haven't had a l typo yet.

They are exactly the same. All ROMs are interchangeable between the 920 and 925.

Hello. I see your using a p925 with cm10. I have a p925 and I've never flashed ics. If you would, please let me know how did you get cm10 to stay on. For some reason it will only stay on for a moment then shut down for me, all nightly versions. I have tried the advise from these cm10 forums. No dice. Thank you.

Flash the 21d kdz. That will basically turn your P925 into a P920. Then follow the steps to install cm10. I didn't have any luck on 20p or 21e. Kept locking up and rebooting with no signal. 21d is perfect.

You guys do know the P925 can run P920 ROMs right? As long as you are on stock gingerbread to start with. The P920 has CM10 NIGHTLY's out right now and I'm about to flash the latest NIGHTLY.

I can appreciate the fact that lg thrill users can flash and run p920 roms. I've tried an used many. Most of them extremely well made. I believe most lg thrill users are probably upgraded to gb by now. And probably on v20p baseband. It would be very nice to get cm10 for the lg thrill/p925 without having to flash basebands and kdz files to run cm as they would have to by using the p920 version.
Either way the devs are much appreciated.

21d kdz should be everything. Full file. It will change your phone to a v21d p920.

I have a P925 and just yesterday flashed cm-10-20130104-NIGHTLY-p920 with a V20p baseband (LGP925AT-01-V20p-310-410-FEB-22-2012+0). I've only had issues with the Automatic date & time reporting incorrectly.
On AT&T, I'm seeing HSDPA speeds hit ~6.0 MBit down / 1.0 MBit up with full signal bars. Battery life seems similar to CM7 ROMs and xbsall's First ICS 4.0.4 SU760 ROM port.
I've attached some screens of the battery drain. It's been idle for the last several hours, and hasn't seem to have kept a WiFi lock all day.

As long as you're using gingerbread or up, your baseband should work fine, afaik.

I thought the P920 and P925 were identical in terms of hardware. You should be able to flash CM10 onto a P925 without changing the baseband to that of a P920 without issue.
