I've been looking at different calendars and calendar widgets for the Note and I've very stupidly ended up uninstalling the standard TwCalendar & widgets. Can I get it back without having to factory reset my Note? If so how? Thanks.
You can ask someone to upload .apk file and install

I looked around there there doesn't seem to have a single thread with the Samsung stock apps. Would it be possible to pull them off a stock rom and put them up?
Any help is appreciated!

Find post #2 or 3 on first line of my sign
Download any ROM(GB), preferably your region and flash using PC Odin
You may find force closes or stuck at boot, but nothing to worry. reboot in recovery and wipe cache and data.
Flash a GB rom from ur region and wipe data / dalvik and cache from recovery
thanks for the replies guys, is there any i should avoid causing the brick that affected so many people, or have all the at risk files been removed from xda forum ?

Avoid wipe / reset once you are on stock ICS kernel.
but the other guys said to wipe after i install the stick rom?
Sent from my GT-N7000 using xda app-developers app
He said you to wipe on gb rom, I advised you not to wipe on stock ics rom.
Got it?
Read post #2 what I did say
I have said same to wipe, but on gb rom only.

That was for stock Gingerbread rom, wipe on GB is safe but it is not safe on ICS. As long as you are on GB roms you can wipe without any issue. So best for you is to download stock Gingerbread firmware for your country from here and then flash it using pc odin, you will find instructions for using odin in same thread.
After flashing GB rom you may face some boot loop or other issue, so in that case just boot in stock recovery (vol up+home+power) and perform full wipe.

Hi Doc, yes it worked and transparent now, I thought it might be a bug with new launcher initially but thank you for the tip
Ya on first sight it looks like that only.

one more question while we are on the subject, once i have gone back to stock is it safe to do OTA updates and update via kies?

OTA updates.... debatable
but kies... ya definitely
if i do the factory reset/wipe data whit cwm it will delete my rom? (it's original one 2.3.6) i tried from settings but doesn't work... any solutions?
Sent from my GT-S5830 using xda premium
No it doesn't. You can't delete a rom. You install a new one
Sent from my GT-S5830 using xda premium
It'll just bring your rom back to the way it was when you 1st bought your phone provided, you haven't done anything mischievous with it.

Factory reset/wipe data restores your device to its original settings that came with your handset. Doesn't delete your ROM. Just like formatting your computer.
Hi.
I have a question. I rooted my stock 4.0.4 xeu N7000 with chainfires exynos abuse app. When i unooted using the app Sky go worked ok.
Now when i tried it again. It says sky go does not work with rooted device. I have checked with other apps and it says it is unooted.
Anyone shed any light on this?

Have you tried to download OTA rootkeeper and choose Hide Root from inside it ?
Its ridiculous how it wont work with rooted phones, there must be a patch somewhere ? Im a Virgin Media user myself so i dont have this issue.

unroot by flashing the ROM again
Tried reinstalling Rom with mobile odin. Now have stock 4.0.4 with no root and stock recovery and it still won't work. Could this be because of using mobile odin?
Sent from my GT-N7000 using xda app-developers app
It's almost the same using pc or mobile

I dont get why sky go still says im rooted
Sent from my GT-N7000 using xda app-developers app
Have you taken the sky app out and replaced it?
If you have the copy of the app you had when rooted it may be the problem. Was for me. I did the above and it worked.
From box 13......
Tried that too. Ill try again though for good measure

Instead of going back to ICS through Odin try to flash the GB LC1 ROM (which is full wipe). Chances are you have flashed a non wipe stock ICS ROM. Hence some undesirable leftovers.
