Would love to see results. I've got a 1600 maH coming in in the next few days from Anker actually. Mine was about 12 bucks. I don't know how much of a difference 100 maH would make though to be honest.

Will post battery stats, but will need someone else's stock stats to do a comparison. Our stock battery barely keeps a few hours of charge.

Buying the 1500mAh battery by HTC from htcpedia.com really helped my battery life.
It is like an average phone now. I took my phone off the charger at 6am this morning. It is now almost 3pm and my phone has not died yet... and mind you I have been on it for 4 hours HARD!! I've been browsing.. Market... texting.. talking.. you name! (Except gaming, and streaming)
I bought the 1500mah by HTC because of two reasons:
It was made by HTC (a known name)
It fits in perfectly without buying a thicker back covering (huge plus!)
Don't really trust Seido (Don't know them too well)
My steps once I got my battery.
Bumped Charged
Wiped Battery Stats
Drained Battery (until it cut itself off)
Bumped Charged again
Another note to notice is the batter stats from rival phones of the incredible:
iPhone 4: 1420mAh
Droid X: 1570mAh
EVO: 1500mAh
Nexus: 1400mAh
I got these stats from here.
Seeing these stats make me wonder WHY did HTC ship the Droid incredibles with 1300mAh??
Also... how in the world is Seido fitting those 1750mAh in there? Or are they REALLY fitting in 1750mAh? Hmm...
The 1500mAh provided by HTC puts my Droid Incredible battery life up there with the big boys
**I'm not putting down the Seido company nor saying that there batteries are flawed. All I am stating is that I don't know how they are doing it**

I updated the first post.
You think this is the same battery? http://amzn.to/cS3liO Do you mind tell me if either of these numbers are listed?
# ASIN: B003YM9ANY
# Item model number: 35H00123-22M
Model #: RHOD160
Rating: 3.7VDC == 1500mAh
5.55Whr
Would you mind telling me what % your battery was at by 3pm as you stated? Saying it hasn't died yet could mean like 3% remaining, ya know, to which I'd say I get similar stats with my 1300.
I too am in the market for a new battery and was unfamiliar with this one until this post. I have been eyeing the seidio battery but reading about its heat issue is worrysome. (Which reminds me, any comment on the heat?)
Thanks for sharing your info
I use this battery, too. If I go all day, wihout plugging it in, after 12 hours, I'm down to about 25%. After 14 hours, it's time to either charge it, or put my other battery in.
I also took the op's advice and just recieved this. What does wiping the bat stats do though?

hey crazifyngers could you tell me how long have you had the batteries and how is it lasting
I bought the HTC TP2 1500 mah battery for $15 shipped off ebay and it appears to be the same battery the OP posted but black instead of red. I bought from the seller bidallies and the battery appears to be a legit HTC OEM battery.
I notice a drastic difference in battery life, and I don't have to charge my phone in the late afternoon. Definately worth it.

My take on "Wiping Battery Stats" is that it deletes the information that tells your phone that it is fully charged and when it is low. Wiping those stats cause for it to monitor and record new stats to base off of.

i have been using those batteries for about 2 weeks and have noticed a slight increase in charge time. the main thing for me is not having to charge the phone just swap batteries and more importantly NO BUMP CHARGING. that is a huge pet peeve of mine. but i digress. i have used extended batteries but i prefer the look of a slim phone. i normally don't need an extended or extra battery but it is nice to know that if i need the juice i have it. i don't recall which site i read it on but it was reviewed by android central i believe.

I'm sorry if there's a topic about it. I browsed for it, but the XDA app crashes whenever I try to search.
I'm considering ordering this battery. Had anyone had any good or bad experiences with it? I'm finding that the stock battery just isn't quite enough. Do you get the expected extra ~30% run time based on the capacity difference? Does it run too hot or anything? Thanks in advance for any input.

I love and swear by my 1750. You will get a lot of people in here saying it is crap, but I assure you it is not. If you want a battery to last the full day and not increase the size of your phone the 1750 is for you. I have had no issues with it getting to hot. Just a word for the wise....
When you get it follow the instructions. Let it charge for several hours after full charge. Im talking twelve hours or so if you can spare. You wont regret it.
I have the 1750 and it works great, does as advertised. Gets me through a day at 1.152 GHz of mid-heavy use, I'm not complaining

Thanks for the input. What do people say about it? Just that it's not worth the "premium" price a la the first post here?
EDIT: Also, I'd consider the larger extended batteries, but I use my phone as a GPS frequently and thus can't deal with an extended back.
It's nice to have but I've become so used to plugging up that I have a way/somewhere to charge almost everywhere I go anymore. It does allow me the luxury of being able to not plug up for longer.
I've started swapping out my 1750 for my stocker and letting them charge on my docking stations for a day or so...seems to help a little.

When I was looking for a replacement battery and searching the forums many different people claimed it didn't work as advertised. That it did not last any longer than the stock battery. In my experience this is not the case at all. Also the price is a little heavy but worth it to me at the time. I would check ebay for it now though.

Why would you say that? I've had the 1750 since a week after I got my DInc and it always over performs. I've had days where my phone was on for 26 hours with 20% left. The Sedio batteries are wwaaayy better than the crap HTC Taiwanese ones. Sedio is a Japanese cell. You pay for quality.

Advertising what? A good deal? I wasted my money on the 1750 so I would know. Why pay $40 for it when the HTC 1500 performs the same.
There's some spec sheets floating around that shows HTC batteries perform at their rated mah while seidios 1750 and 3500 fall short.
And here's that sheet:

I bought a 1750 for my Eris and use it with my Dinc without any problems.
I have one, and use it regularly. Its capacity is not staggering, but noticable over stock.
I have one and would recommend it. I compared it to my stock battery a while back, and found that it charges at about the same rate (in percentage, so it charges faster technically), gives 1 extra hour under full load, and 2-3 extra hours under mixed load.

Bought both the 1750mah and the eBay OEM 1500mah from bidallies and love it. 15$ and lasts twice as long as that sedieo crap. Sold that thing after two months of use. Have since bought an extra 1500 as spare and bought several more for friends and family with the Inc.

Does anyone know of any extended or aftermarket batteries that could work with the Droid 4 by replacing the internal battery?
I understand it is an internal battery, but that does not mean it cannot be removed :good:
You can take it out, but it's not supposed to be removed, so as far as i know no one makes one for the droid 4. Some ppl tried putting in a razr maxx battery, but they then found out that the battery doesn't fit into the same slot. What you can do is get an external battery or maybe you can see if they make cases with battery's in them like they do for the iphone and other devices. Hope i helped.
I have been looking for a case that has an extra battery in it and i cant seem to find one anywhere. If anyone finds one please let me know. I use my phone everything so it would be nice to not have to take my charger with me all the time.

Do Droid 4s share the same battery with a Razr? If so, the Razrs can upgrade to the Razr Maxx battery with some tinkering. I foresee problems finding a bulged backplate for a Droid 4, though.

the mugen site doesn't list the d4. closest thing is the d3 and photon (not the photon q, which looks a lot like a d4), both of which have regular removable batteries, so it doesn't look good for us. esp now that it looks like the droid5 just got leaked... and it doesn't seem to have an easily replaceable battery either.

I just puchased the mugen extended battery. It does add a little more bulk and unable to get a case that will fit the larger door. Other than the power meter not able to show true battery life. It is a software limitation. I do like the longevity of the battery though. My original battery would die while I was asleep after about 5 to 6 hours offBT the charger just sitting idle with no wi-fi or BT on.

hey there! Figured I would chime in on some info concerning extended batts for the D4.. Even though I am not sure that this pertains to the particular model you are looking at, I have found one that works extremely well, and does not need an extended back for the phone. It has thicker cells, and I've gotten more than a day out of it. Given that is not full use of course, but still thats almost unheard of (at least for me) when it comes to the D4. Also, I have to say that I was a bit pretentious at first, because this battery is sourced from china/japan on eBay. Anyways here is your link!

Yeh they have a extended battery 2085 mAh using stock door but the Mugen is 3800mAh which seems super capacity tho the device will become a bit thicker due to expanded door.
I don't mind the expanded door just want to know experience of people who have used it - how long it takes to charge from 0 to 100% and does it almost give double battery life to Droid4 when compared to stock battery...

Then here we go, if you are from India, then surprisingly on ebay.in there is a sale of Seidio Extended Battery 3200mah for O2x at just 1800rupees($35 approx) which is very low price for Seidio Battery.
If you are really interested then grab it from the below link:

You do realize its capacity is anywhere from 2500 mAh to 3100 mAh, not really 4000 mAh? It's physically impossible to fit bigger higher capacity cells into single OEM battery size. Typically these ebay batteries, like Golden 4200 mAh, are closer to 2500 mAh (I have tested a few), but from your screenshots and the fact it costs over $10 - I think its safe to assume it will be closer to OEM 3100 mAh. Just gotta watch out for any bulging which happens with these over time especially when you charge them at full 2A speed, and you probably going to notice performance to go down in about 3-4 months.
Sorry bro, didn't mean to rain on your parade. It's just a fact with these ebay batteries.

Well it doesn' t seem much, if any, better than stock battery.
It is surely better than my stock battery. So it can't be less than 3100mah. Has to be higher.
It is not physically impossible. Not sure where you got that info from.
You didn't rain on my parade. I have results to prove it. My stock battery is now used as back. No use for it day to day now.
Only idiots buy golden battery lol.

Ooh, you just offended a bunch of people on this forum who got Golden batteries hoping they will get 4200 mAh for $6
Unless you have some latest ground breaking info about new development in battery cell density, Samsung used the highest density battery in their OEM footprint. It's a fact. The only way to maximize it was by doubling the size, thus all the reputable companies had double thickness/capacity with 6200 mAh batteries and Zerolemon had it at triple with 9300 mAh. The only company that was able to squeezed a bit more was Mugen who does their own development and was able to squeeze in 6400 mAh in double capacity.
To verify capacity of your battery, looking at performance with screen on time, etc is not accurate. Especially since you are comparing it to an original battery with aged performance. You need to get an external hardware battery tester where you charge the battery to a full capacity and let it discharge down to 2.4V cutoff voltage while monitoring the actual current drain over time to get the exact capacity in mAh.
Btw, just for sh!ts'n'giggles, take the label off your battery to see what is stamped in there as actual capacity
I dont need to get anything. ..
My real world usage proves this last longer than my stock battery. I bought this battery to use as a backup but now my stock battery is the backup.
Are you saying mu screenshots are fake?
Also if you're point was valid, aa batteries come in one size right?
Why are there 800mah, 1200mah and 1600mah aa batteries?
I am happy and surprised with my purchase. Doesn't matter what you might think. My screen shots prove it.

Chill bro, I'm not doubting your screenshots or your experience. As I said, it sounds like you probably got 3100 mAh battery. That's all. As someone who reviews a lot of accessories and gadgets on XDA (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2192333) and helps other members on this forum, I just want to be sure other people are not mislead by thinking they can get 4000 mAh battery because Note 2 battery with such capacity doesn't exist. Period. Neither does anything over 3200 mAh since I remember testing my Anker 3100 mAh to be slightly higher then stock capacity. The screenshots are real, I'm not doubting it, but that is call a "relative test" to another reference of someone else using stock capacity battery under different conditions with different setting and running different apps. We had people reporting poor performance with ZL 9300 mAh while the fact is they were comparing it to stock battery performance from 3-4 months ago when they had different setup with different apps, etc.
Just calm down, enjoy your battery, and spend a little bit of time reading this website with a lot of Note 2 battery reviews and explanation how they really being tested: http://www.batteryreview.info/
Ok just making sure you aren't hating lol.
I didnt say I believe it to be 4000mah. I just believe it is higher than 3100mah because it lasts longer.

We only got love on this forum
It lasts longer cause its a new 3100 that hasn't degraded like the one you are currently used to.

It's probly a case of new 3100MAH compared to your used original 3100MAH
Only new battery tech could squeeze juice more into the same physical battery.
New battery tech wouldn't be sold for $14. :good:
Anyway at $14 that's not bad. Let us know how it performs over time. Cheaper than buying an original Samsung 3100mah
Just got this
Just got this battery and managed to last over 7hrs of onscreen time doing mostly messaging, web browsing, watching videos off the microsd card and youtube.
Auto-brightness was set to about 30% (was more than sufficient for an overcast day and 8 hours in the office).
Had location services turned on, gmail and Exchange syncing. Also had music playing (Poweramp) for most of the work day.
Hope this helps any others looking to give this a try.
No idea if I will get this sort of screen time on the stock battery as I've only had a half day use of it (bought the phone used off ebay and got the extended battery at the same time).
I get these same stats on my stock battery. Running ADHD 18 with latest Perseus kernel

Im not impressed
As i can see your screen on time is just 4+ hours, i can say im getting somewhat 6-7 hours screen on time with my 7 months old stock sammy battery
As far as I'm aware the Mugen battery is the best available at 3200mah. The Anker one being a better value for money choic3 at slightly higher than stock.
I have no way of actually testing this though, but there's no way the OP's battery is anywhere near 4000mah.
On a similar note, does anyone know of any tools to accurately measure these battery capacities?
–edit sorry wrong link that was for testing cords not batteries

I see the reviews here are pretty old now.... so can anyone of you update the status of your battery performance now?
im sorry but i think zerolemon is better with 9300 if u dont mind the bulk
