so is this the ported nexus launcher?? i deodexed the launcher2 and swapped out the .props but couldn't get it to install because of dexopt.

this is not ported just removed some of the images to make it look like it.

BTW i've noticed there's also a new clock in the nexus dump. Just a fyi.

Two things I noticed though, If you don't reboot after applying the clock metamorph, my option for the analog clock widget disappears completely.
Also, there's no alarm clock icon in my app drawer anymore.

I don't know works for me installed it over and over and did not need to reboot and still have my alarm icon all it has in it is the three images for the clock .
I was making one of many themes that i decided not to finish when i get to the boring part of editing the 9 pngs and changing the color of all of them and thanks to stericson metamorph app. i decided i would share some parts of it. Here's the launcher should work with (Aosp 1.6).all i ask if you add it to a theme just give me credit for my work thx.
added a morph for just the clock.

clock too?
Isnt that the launcher from systemforce or specforce theme? looks similar.
the clock is not in it.i did not like the clock in the nexus dump so i made my nexus clock and the launcher i made i will have to look up systemforce or specforce theme.
added a morph with just the clock and looked at systemforce don't look like it at all and don't see specforce or any thing like it.

nice i like it! looks like you have a few metamorphs, would it be possible if you could put them all in one thread so that they are all easily accessible. it would also decrease the clutter of metamorphs in the theme section. just a suggestion.

metamorph will replace the images in whatever you have as Launcher.apk in /system/app/ if that is the Advanced Launcher, then you have Advanced Launcher support.

kron i have a question. The clock on my phone looks a bit like the screenshots you posted, some grany lines separating the shades of grey.
But checking inside the metamorph file on the pc the clock dial file looks perfect.
Is it the low resolution of my phone?
I just want the clock. I think it's pretty sick. Can anyone let me know how to get it or just make the file themselves it would be very much appreciated.

go into settings in beautiful widgets and download skins
lol ya u have to dl new clock skins from inside the settings.. same for weather widget donate..etc.. my fav 2 clock programs..well worth the money..
You can also mod the APK to look exactly how you want.

Recently saw the thread about peoples home screens and saw some really nice ones.
I have a question though about launcher pro and I can't find any tutorials or solutions for it online.
In short when using launcher pro it gives you a default of 5 shortcuts on the dock for each screen (maximum of 7 screens I think)
I've seen some setups where people have replaced the shortcut image with a word (ie messages, phone, internet)
I want to do this but everytime I try to change the image for a word it shrinks it down to a set size to fit in with the 4 other shortcuts on the dock, I'd like to do it so the word takes up the space of two shortcuts.
Basically I want it to look like the dock at the bottom of this one:

You don't need launcherpro plus but what you do need is that exact launch bar or you need to make one yourself. The way that look was achieved is that there are no actual visible icons on that bar, instead they made a .png of a bar with the text where they wanted the icons to be and then used transparent icons to actually place the shortcuts. I believe SonnySekhon has a bunch of docks like that in his theme thread and you can pick and choose one. If you can't find a transparent icon, I'll post one later but I'm getting ready to leave in a few minutes so I can't do it now.

Here is a little something special from me, i think it will help you in re-creating that home screen, its an invisible icon. Just run your mouse over it to see exactly where the pic is. Its hard to see cause its invisible . Plus a drawer icon incase you want it.
I really like it, nice look.

Edit, so...its there I promise its just transparent. Right click around the far left until you see "Save image as" and do that lol

Haha i found it too and edited my first post to put it in there. I like this look, i'm gonna try it on adw launcher where i can increase the size of the dock. I think it might go well

Yeah I found the browser icon there but couldn't find the phone icon.

I want my app draw to be transparent, like in the LiamStears mod - however I don't want any of the other extras (alternate icons, 5 columns, etc) that comes with it.
Is there any mod available that could just do this?

In adw launcher there is an option to customize the background colour, you can change the opacity all the way down to make it transparent. I didn't see it in launcherpro but I might have missed it or it might be a launcherpro plus only feature.

Drat, I'm using a sense rom, and I'm not really keen on AWD Launcher/LauncherPro (and similar non-sense launchers).
