Is it expensive?

Mine also does that but on the left side, not as bad as yours though. Its not a dead pixel. Its called lcd bleed.

If your phone is still under warranty, then you may contact LG Service Center on your place. I'm sure they can do something about that with minor cost...

There are no LG Service Center in my country :-(

2 months ago. I didn't do anything to my phone.

Mine is even worst....but only on full black screen, but is not noticeable wen using....so this is supposed to be bad???

I have this problem too. I will put it on service on my warranty i hope will be not cost.

How come u buy stuff w/o service center, then how about ur warranty, whos gonna handle it, due to ur problem need a warranty claim.

But my service center is not LG, I bought it from different service center/shop. All I have in my country is the repair shop. :/
Don't worry, I still have the warranty.

Flash my kernel: Facepalm Kernel v8 then go to TardedRecovery and choose facepalm. You will rebootand realise your phone has just died and you went on to buy a 5MP camera phone.

Strange pattern on Galaxy Note Screen

Hi everybody,
I am new owner of Galaxy Note which I have bouight 2 days ago. My device came with Gingerbread and I successfully updated it trough PC Odin to ICS 4.0.4 UK/Ireland. I noticed when i have grey background or white background that I can see signs like logo of AMOLED and Galaxy note letters in background above AMOLED logo sign. Here are also pictures how it looks.
I think that I didnt notice it on GIngerbread, but I am not sure. I can live with it but it is little bit iritating as I payed it 499 EUR.
Should I be concerned and return my phone, or this is SW issue ? Many thanks for any help.

when there is a new note 2 is available in market why did you have considered buying a old note? anyway samsung has a very bad built quality it's probably a hw issue... ask for a refund or exchange from the seller

Maybe it's from the transparent plastic sheet, which was on the screen. Try to clean it with a LCD screen cleaner. If it still exists afterwards, I'd return it to the dealer.

Hello,
Today I got new Samsung Galaxy Note. After they saw my screen they replaced it by new Galaxy Note without any question. Only difference with this new one is that on S Pen button is now grey, and on previous one was black hehe, really strange, does anybody know anythinga bout it?
Device come with Android Gingerbread 2.3.6, now I am going to install ICS 4.0.4 UK/Ireland.

p9 heat even when not in use

Hi my p9 is heating up when I am not in use and my battery drain very quickly. I know that EMUI is quite a heavy UI but my main concern is that when I put my phone in my bag and do some sports my phone is hot AF. Im scared that it explodes like a note 7 :crying:
any views on that?

EMUI not heavy at all,it is light, my phone always cold in all condition. can u send your battery consumption level with hardware / software details

here is the pictures from today at 04.48 this morning. I went for a jogging and put it in my bag. Didnt use the phone and I felt it hot. at 7.05 the battery came down to 88% My screen on time is about 33mins. I think it doesnt makes any sense that the battery goes down like that.

It was hardware problem. But I don't know what was wrong

Pink spot only on any camera app and purple squares on screen on zoom

Hy. I have a big problem with my wife phone p20 pro. When i prepare or take photo in any camera app there are pink litle spots on screen that get bigger on zoom. And when i zoom it to max there are pink squares. The phone function amazing until 2 days ago. It is not burn screen. Only camera apps do so. Also the pink spot are visible in photo.

Try to reset all the camera settings and see if it helps, if not you could try factory resetting the entire device. If that doesn't help it 'might' be dead pixels on the sensor/sensors.

it may be the phone motherboard has failed.
Recommended to go after-sales service to ask for help.

Motherboard? I dont think so. This problem is only with camera app. Not on screen in any other app. Why motherboard. It seem mote like a sensor camera issue. The phone is 4 month old. That why i never renonce to samsung and go with Huawei. Chines alwais use cheap material and go for premium device.

yea it seems like a hardware failure so i would contact huwei and send it back to get it fixed
