All BootAnimations for 240X320, will work to others devices with the same resolution.

Instalation:
Connect your Android devices to computer using USB cable.
Now move the downloaded bootanimation.zip file to the phone’s memory.
Disconnect your device from computer.
Open either “Root Explorer” or “Super Manager” on android device and copy the bootanimation.zip to /system/media folder.
Select the file and change the permissions.

I have always like the simplicity of the Ubuntu boot screen. This is a "replication" but with Android. This is setup for a HDPI screen of 480x800 px. If you have bigger or smaller you can change the output size in the desc.txt

All these zips should be renamed to bootanimation.zip and placed in the apropriate folder:
most ROMs in/system/customize/resource
(either with adb push or if you're S-OFF just copy it wherever you need)

1)Download the bootanimation you want
2)change the name to bootanimation.zip
3)go to system-media
4)replace the bootanimation
5)reboot and enjoy
b)using pc

I've been looking for a good Matrix Boot Animation for long but never found one. So decided to make one for myself.
Finally , here it is.
The matrix rain, followed by 'The matrix has you' message and then loops back to the rain.
720x1280 at 30fps

Instructions
Using your explorer go to bootanimation directory (depending on the device) and rename the existing 'bootanimation.zip' to 'bootanimation.bak'
Copy the bootanimation.zip to directory
Set permissions to rw_r_r
Reboot.
Preview: Just a small one.
