[Q] OTA Update for stock ROM

Hi,
I have just rooted my new Galaxy Note using Dr. Ketan's method (the one that uses PC Odin). I stuck with the stock ROM, though, and have no plans of using a custom ROM just yet.
There is an OTA update from Samsung, though. Will going through the update unroot my device? Is it safe to update? What should I keep in mind?

Thanks. So how do I update a stock ROM?

Galaxy note premium suite update?

My phone is bought from Dubai, UAE. And I am now at the Philippines. I was wondering if the update that I would install from settings > about phone > software update would mean updating it with the Philippine version of the Premium suite. I'm sorry if this is a noob question, I really need some answers cause I don't want to brick my note.

Your phone will get updates corresponding to its CSC. And an update wont brick your phone.
So, that would mean that I would be updating the firmware of the UAE version? Oh, thank you so much for the reply.

Yes mate, thats what i did :good:
You will not get ota's unless you do a full wipe so the csc will change to Germany

Hi all, just as a confirmation to me being very new to this :
Using odin to flash this ee rom will still allow my device to get OTAs with the assumption that a full wipe has taken place.
Is the above correct?
Thanks a lot for your time

[Q] How to update to official Jelly Bean

My Dad has the original unlocked Note, and I'm wondering how I can update to the official Jelly Bean without rooting or voiding warranty, as it isn't showing up in the OTA menu.
Open Samsung kies and Let it download the update or go to settings and update via OTA
Let me know if you have issues with this we will walk you through it
I've tried updating via both Kies and in About Phone, both places say that it's the most recent firmware available.
OK you are on a version that hasn't received the OTA yet.
You will have to install it via PC Odin.
Go to Dr.ketan's sticky thread for step by step instructions.
