I think, the best is Europe Open V10d.

V10D (Euro open) for sure with baseband 0725.

And why when I check my iemi with lg website I still get c version

But seriously v10d euro open I really good fells very snappy I have to admit that I froze all the bloateare and installed minfreemamager with aggressive settings
I can't say about custom Rome but this stock feels.good and affording to the release log they fixed a lot it stuff

Yes after 3 ver LG make a good Froyo stock rom.
I hope to have a good Gingerbread rom with the first stock version

no they are not since they use a different framework

Not necessarily true the music player from ics works well on gingerbread.

I tried the first release by Ricardo selfkang were not very smooth for mancazna hardware acceleration, suffering from random reboots, but now I'm trying to AOKP I'm finding good fluidity has really improved!

Nova HD was smooth and stable.

I'm using Nova HD RC9-18, works great. No hardware acceleration yet...
There are some small bugs, but that's just the way it is..

the AOKP rom is an excellent and very smooth with very few bugs
