Hey I have downloaded the camera app called 'camera360 ultimate' , its a great app with cool photo effects. But my problem is my screen is rotated to left or upside down.
How can I fix this?

Try out this app. It rotates your screen and keeps it locked like that, even when using apps that are rotated in a different direction. Try it out

I downloaded the apk of the file from the internet and it works like a charm for me. Sorry I can't post the link that's warez.

Help!! Haha i had seen an app a while back that some dev had made where the XOOM could lock upon light sensor being covered and awakened when uncovered but i can't seem to find it now! Should of just bought it back then. Anyways if anyone knows of it or a different similar app that uses light sensor info would greatly be appreciated thanks!

I just downloaded that and it seems to work well. One of the default settings disables it in landscape mode, which might be the problem you guys are having. Either deselect that option or try it in portrait mode to see if that works.
I'd still like to find something closer to what is described in the OP. It would be kind of useful to have it just turn on and off when I open and close my case.
Aite I got it to work upon closing sweet now if i can just find one that "aweken" my Xoom upon opening case....

I think you might be talking about Killswitch. It was developed by an xda dev. I tried to use it with my 7 inch tab, but had fcs. However he was very helpful. I haven't tried it with the Xoom, but I think I'll look it up.

I was able to install it yesterday from the link I posted. The apk is there under the market link and video. I decided against using it, but you can give it a try.
are posibole to fix zoom on camera ?
it is but i thing it will only be digital zoom.
search on google the apk for "camera zoom fx". it is an app that will do what you are asking for.
i have try it myself... you can zoom!
Yep, zoom past 3.0 you will find yourself looking at a white screen.

It shows some random images(like home wallpaper etc) thats really disturbing ..

Camera ZOOM FX is NOT Freeware!
EDIT: Try lgCamera and in case it works you can always buy the Pro version (or buy Camera ZOOM FX).

News channel's scrolling headlines are eaay to read.. What else we need on the go??? BTW am using hsdpa+ so here no problem in viewing normal mode. Did you check the resolution switch icon on screen? It may help you..

I'am from switzerland, so i don's know if this apps also are avalable in other countrys. I use "Teleboy tv" and "Zatoo". Very good and continous streaming frames!

I think it is acceptable
One good thing is consistency of this app.
I have tried lot application, but usually it stops working in few days, while nextGtv never dissatisfy me in that term.

Just downloaded and tried installing. It seemed to be extracting and installing fine but in the end displayed the message not installed, oddly enough with a big green checkmark in front of it (like you might expect with a successful install). Anyone know what might have gone wrong? I have installing non-market apps enabled.

I find the image freezes after a few seconds on Wifi, with 3G it's a bit better but a bit disappointing becaase the quality is excellent.

Does anyone know where I can get Samsungs stock taskmanager for CM 7.2 or at least one that works like it. I tried so many different taskmanager apps from the Play store but they all aren't good.

Firstly, Android 2.3+ doesnt need a task manager. However if it makes you feel happy I can find the Samsung one for you. People report it ruins your phone over time or something

Gingerbread has one that does it automatically. In app if you press home it runs in background and back kills it. Something like that. Google search task manager on Gingerbread.

Actually its a priority system, where apps u dont use for long get removed from memory automatically. The phone doesn't get damaged if u use a task manager, its just that ur phone will use more battery as it has to process that app all over again and ur loading time is ofc increased. But on mid - high end phones u don't need a task manager due to enormous amount of ram and fast processor. I do feel the need for a task manager cause i don't use my phone too much and background apps will drain my battery unnecessarily.
Edit: Here is a task manager. Just copy it to ur system/apps folder using a root browser and set permissions as all the apps present.

Cannot change my display picture
I am not able to change my display picture in BBM, everytime i try to do it gives me this error "Unfortunately BBM has stopped". Is anyone else facing the same problem??

ya finally got one sloution, convert the jpeg picture in gif.. then try to change the display picture... tadaahh its done !!
