I have successfully used Nandroid to backup my phone. I wanted to know if it was possible to extracts the files and data out of the data.img that Nandroid gives? I read about the unyaffs tool, but was not able to get it working when I gave it data.img. Is this possible with unyaffs or any other method? Thanks.
I need your help. Whilst going through my nandroid backup folder on the computer, i accidentally deleted both internal folders. Now i can't do any backups because when i try to do a nand restore it shows me the 4 files within the folder; instead of actually restoring them.
Any ideas???
If I performed a Nandriod back-up while my file system was EXT4, can I restore it anytime or I should convert the file system from my phone to EXT4 before I restore ?
Every time I tried a nandroid backup , always come up with error while backing up image of
/sdcard/.android_secure
Can some one help to solve it? Now I can't do a nandroid backup from recovery.
The file (.android_secure) also can't be delete or change the permission.
TIA.
Hi
After doing a nandroid backup with TWRP 3.0.0.0 for all partitions including EFS when trying to restore after booting up my device it I get an "invalid IMEI" error.
Looking inside the EFS folder I can see that most files are missing and only a default nv_data.bin has been created.
Is there another method to mount the efs.mtd.win file and copy his contents?
Or perhaps another method to restore it or at least understand why it's not restoring properly?
Thanks for any hint.
