I recently came to the conclusion that i wanted to sell my 2150 battery. It was great and lasted long but I just never really could adjust to the bulk and after rooting and installing a custom ROM on my phone, my stock battery was enough to satisfy me. It is only about 2 weeks old and I'm a light user to begin with. This battery should still perform to its max. I'm posting in hope of finding someone who can get better use of it than I could. If anyone is interested you can check out the link below .
HTC Droid Incredible 2150mAh Extended Battery + Door
Lol I just got my 1800 mah and am looking to get rid of my 2150. It's so ugly I feel bad selling it lol. Never even used it.

I just didn't really like the weight and it kinda was a turn off with the size. It's easier to get out of pockets with the stock haha.

Well I didn't use it too much so it's still great quality. I was hoping for around $40 on eBay but It's around 20$ at the moment on my listing so it's possible to snag it for less.
I will send you 40 for it
Just wondering if old incredible's extended battery & back cover can also be used on incredible S?

No, they only look similar in appearance, other than that they are completely different phones. The IS is quite a bit bigger, and any accessories for the original will not fit
What about Mugen Power?
They have one on their page.

Would be interested to know if it will fit nicely without any extra bulge and how much better the battery is.

the problem is
is it really 1800mah? most of them arent
and
does it really fits? because the desire z/g2 battery is model: BB96100 and my incredible S battery is model: BG32100
Good points. I think you should purchase it and let us know your findings

Did it improve battery life and do you remember if it looked similar to IS battery?

When it comes to extended batteries, Seidio comes to mind, I bought one for the Moto Droid quite some time ago, although it gave the device the much needed boost in battery life.
But still not a big fan of the added bulk to the device, so i haven't checked that site for a long time.
There should be some alternatives that can be found on ebay as well, just Google the brands you find and + review at the end to see if anyone is contributing any real user comments on it.
I wouldn have little faith in extended batteries which do have the same size as the original one. If you don't want an added bulk, the only alternative is an external battery, such as zaggsparq. I've just bought one and are going to give a short review soon.
Here is a link that might be helpful LINK.

It definitely did. And yeah it kinda looks about the same size but I'm not sure.
The G2/DZ battery is slightly less is mAh at 1300 (vs 1450 in the IncS), but it works just fine in the IncS. I've got my wifes G2 battery in my phone while I break in the IncS battery. So any extended battery for the G2/DZ will work in the IncS.
working 10% off code if anyone decide to get one - 123VC
I've ordered a Mugen battery but it will take some time to receive. When I get it I'll post some results..

I'm really considering buying one but would love to hear some feedback first, would it fit a TMOUS HD2 or a EUR HD2? Does the kernels recognizes the extra juice or you need to restart it at some point?
Thank you guys..
Sent from my HTC HD2 using XDA App
I don't have one, but I remember asking about it before. Here's the feedback I remember getting:
- When you attach it, it acts like a charger, not like an extended battery (so kernels/roms/os doesn't have anything to do with it)
- It fits both a TMOUS HD2 and a EUR HD2, but obviously its it a bit loose.
- You cannot use the connection from the powerskin to transfer data, only charge the battery inside it, and hence the battery in the phone.

Thank you mate, i will order one and then will give my feedback..
Thanks a lot for your reply.

Thank you so much for your help, that's exactly that, and cheaper.. that's great, they don't ship it to Europe, I need to find a seller who does..
Thanks a lot for your help..

The HTC Incredible S is not available anymore in Australia because it is out of stock and is no longer being produced. Is this good because it means our phone was selling good, or is it bad because htc have stopped manufacturing it?
You choose.

Not available anymore, meaning the ICS update could be a parting gift from Optus/HTC?
They were selling them cheap and were still not popular. So I wouldn't be surprised. imo the IncS sat in an awkward sport between the Sensation, Desire S and DHD. Who was going to buy the IncS when for the same price they could get a sgs2?

Well, technically we just made it in the 18 month update window
I read that the One V won't be getting JB...that's just tight of HTC
And to us, I want a port!
Our devs will port other roms and we will sell our devices on extra big prices, because is a great device and the stock will be limited.

You sir, are smoking some heavy stuff.
The IncS has been sold for 18months. This is a long life for a phone.
When it was first sold, this was a middle range phone. By todays standards it is a low end phone. I think it is time to let it rest in peace.
Anybody who thinks that flashing an hacked rom onto a phone increases it's market value, is out of his mind.
I can see that a joke may start a revolution.
LOL
Our devs will port roms from other phones and we will use it with great satisfaction, and when we will get bored with our phones, we will sell them on extra bucks just because htc stoped produced them and the stock will be limited in the world.
No need to throw stones.
Was a joke.

Have a look at the Virgin AU website about their failure to provide ICS for the IncS. Seems HTC don't think ICS is a good experience and would prefer users to stick with Gingerbread. I'd say that signifies that it's definitely the end of the road...

Yeah the ICS OTA from Optus is laggy and slow. But its about the same performance as sense 3.0 GB was. Both are laggy. But on ARHD, the lag is gone. Boom. Figure that one out.
Only way to get the update is to dl the ruu from HTCdev which I think is good, as only advanced users will do it. Not ones that expect high performance on a low end phone and end up not buying another HTC because the new update made it lag.
Part of the reason I ended up rooting my phone was because an OTA update from HTC reduced it to a laggy mess. God knows how much crapware must be gumming up the works in those things.
I'm still pleasantly surprised by how well my phone continues to handle anything I throw at it, considering its age. I don't play many games on it, and what I do have are pretty un-taxing (Reckless Getaway is about the most 'high-end' game I have), but with a good ROM and a overclocked processor it's always smooth and responsive. On JB I honestly don't think it's any slower than my friends Samsung GS3. The smaller screen, plus the additional memory and decent processor all seem to come together into a package that just works. It's just a shame that some of its siblings stole its limelight, really. I still think it has an excellent form-factor, and I find the size perfect: not too small and not a massive slab as seems to be becoming the norm these days.
Having said that, it is old. Very much so by technology standards. To expect it to be continued to be supported is unrealistic unfortunately. We will just have to hope that developers continue to support it long after the likes of HTC have passed us by.
Agreed.
The IncS is dying, however! This phone is reliable and for that purpose solely, they should remain to sell it.
Cmon guys, the Wildfire S is still on the market, y not IncS?

The Butterfly is everything the One should have been, but can't really go wrong with either.
My only problem with it is the No aluminum and no ultrapixel.

i bought HTC One because its Aluminum body and premium feel, if you dont care the feel of your phone or the sensation you get when you hold it.
go with the butterfly s
yeah i know i loooooved the aluminum unibody,,,its SUCKS big time that there is noo micro sd., but the 64gb is like 280$ more than the 32gb, and am sure i wont need all that space, and now the red one is out, and i have another problem for the color thing....silver or red, cuz black sucks.
Feeling with you, I just love red-black so the butterfly seemed like the natural choice...until I got to use one for a few days. It just feels cheap somehow, too lightweight for my likings. Settled for the black One and till now I didn't regret it. The One really feels premium.
DONE. bought the htc one silver 64gb 4g ....hehe....
