[Theme-CM5.0.*-DS] Dr.Cloverdale's Magic Elixir. Now High Gravity!!! 06/09/10

*****UPDATE. PLEASE READ*****
With the new addition to Spare Parts text color can be changed by the user. Thus, I am now comfortable releasing this as a metamorph. There are many advantages to this: (i) It can be flashed on any CM 5.0.* version, so no need to wait on (or download) an update with each CM update, (ii) it runs faster (not sure why yet), (iii) it is a much smaller file size now, and (iv) it will probably run on the G1/MT3G on any Eclair ROM now (be sure to back up first).

--It is compiled from source, so efficient with no extra bugs

Very nice ROM, Dr. Cloverdale, and thank you for your work. But I have a symptom that the Elixir isn't helping. I'm getting FC process com.android.email when trying to reply. (IMAP to office Exchange server.) Is it me or the Elixir?

First of all Congrats Dr. Cloverdale, I've always been your fan and flashed your ROMS/MOD. I would like to thank you for bringing option/ customization to my G1. It has been great knowing / following you to meet your greatest ROMS. Don't be gone too long mister!

First, just want to say what a ride its been with you Dr. Cloverdale. With each new update, theme, themed ROM, etc... you've kept me always thrilled to have a Dream G1... I couldn't wait to see what came next.
Im loving this new one. Quite frankly, it took some getting used to with the previous themed ROM (the battery swirl and signal dots never sat well with me), everything else was incredible.
PROBLEM:
I am however, having an issue with WI-FI... I cant seem to connect to my router. When I revert with Nandroid to the Blue_haze, it works. The Elixir ROM doesn't...hmm??? I tried su / mount -a / fix_permissions... I tried fix uid's... wiping Dalvik and so forth.
Haven't done the logcat yet since there might be a simple solution or step Im overlooking.
Any help on this would be appreciated... Am I the only one??

I was getting sick of Blue Haze also. It was an experiment to try something new, but in the end I missed color.

Didn't think it would be possible but with this rom/theme my nexus is little jealous of the G1, the calendar and music widgets and how smooth it runs kinda makes me feel like I should have waited, but I only had to pay 179 for my nexus. Keep it up DR.

wow this is tight, i'm on superd right now but very tempted to switch to this in the next 5 mins lol....will an advanced launcher for superd 1.10.2 work on this rom? and as usual great work bro, and congrats on that PhD (thinking maybe i should get back in school)

Not sure about the advanced launcher, but I would guess that it does work. This does have anderwebs launcher that is damn close to (or better than) the advanced launcher in options at this point.

Ya revert the RAM hack and you'll be all set, ExZeus and Speedx run smoother on this than any other rom I've used so far!

...will flash asap. At work browsing different things and this caught my eye. Will report any bugs.

Dude. Do we have to Flash the Base first before Flashing this? Becuase the Base kills everything and ruins Battery and EVERYYYTHING!

[ROM] Geared Romage v.02 (WIP)

This is my first attempt at Rom development. After flashing many Roms from great developers here on XDA I have decided to try my hand at it. I'm sure you might ask what's different about this Rom compared to others you have already used. All I can say is this, I have taken the elements that I have grown to love from my favorite Roms and Themes and baked it into something I can be happy with. I hope you will be happy too!

So I was just thinking and the notifications will probably be a little too "filled" with the recent apps there too. I personally use my phone alot while im usb tethering and more stuff pushing the notifications downward would be very annoying to me. Just a little thought i had.

Well that was just a thought I had. I am working on a few things right now. The recent apps idea was one, but you are right, so i may look at some other ideas.

1. Can We Change The Font In Your ROM Into The System Default?
And Two
2. Can We Change The Battery Icon? I Personally Don't Like The Number Percentage On The Battery.

I Went Ahead And Installed The ROM Last Night, Overall Quick And Snappy ROM.
The Only Things That I Didn't Like Was The Themed Market, Also It May Just Be Me But My Battery Drained Pretty Quickly On This ROM Which I Found Strange. Not Sure Why.
Other Than That, Great And Snappy ROM. I Look Forward To Seeing What You Cook Up Next For This ROM

I am working on a Theme port atm so that is why I have been so slow for an update. You should see this Theme this weekend as long as I can get the original Themer to reply with a go ahead permission. I am also working on some new updates to this Rom so hopefully if all goes well you should see an update to it as well.

The font is something I had for myself, you can get those from many places. If you have trouble locating them just PM me and I will point you in the right direction.

I have been getting great battery life, but I don't know what apps you are using so I can't diagnose what the problem is. I will work on fixing the market theme this weekend before my next update. I appreciate your comments, it only makes me better at this!

My dark theme for AXURA 2.4

First of all I dotn take much credits for this has there is little PS work done by myself , putting these icons together is very time consuming but not so hard ...
thx to reefer lots of these comes from his work ..
Also there is a few Icons and 2 docks for LP made by others ( I am sorry I forgot ) all credits goes to them, again I only modded a few of them to my liking . ( icons_etc.zip )
all the Icons I used are included as well as a (slightly modified ) black on black 'beautiful widget' theme by dena . (data.zip)
My Launcherpro layout is also included (launcherpro_backup.zip ) you can either use some tof them icons or use the whole layout .
Launcher Pro 8.1.1 & CM 's musik.apk both modded by hestheone64
I also wanted to use the dark/ transparent 'a la Gingerbread' ic menu icons ( you know when in home screen and you hit the 'settings button' if anyone can do this on thw AXURA Framework please upload it thx .
icons_etc.zip -----> extract anywhere you want
launcherpro_backup.zip -----> extract to root of sdcard
data.zip -----> extract to root of sdcard
AXURADARK2.4.zip -----> extract to root of sdcard
AXURADARK2.4.zip is CWM just flash it from Recovery ( choose update.zip form sdcard) or using rom manager should work to . You actually flash this like you would flash a rom .

fyi I been running this theme on MY AXURA since BETA 1 . to me AXURA IS DARK , as you said to each his own .

running this theme right now, looks great and works just as well!
only thing i would mention as not being a positive is that it displays 3g instead of H.
by any chance i noticed you have a batt mod on this one
could you post an individual battery circle mod that works with this theme please? also maybe the gingerbread one?

im not angry i was just making a statement. and i wasn't being selective your "nice" didn't seem genuine. (considering the statement following it)

As a matter of fact I would not bash someones work on this forum(insert awkward periods)...Ever. I have learned an incredible amount here and want to start cooking my own roms. I said it was nice...seriously. Anyway, not worth getting all bent out of shape.

gosh ill look into it for the H icon .. it shoudl be there but as axura gets treleased amlst every other day ill wait for next release to post updates. thx for pointing it out about the battery mod , yea I modified this to have a grey one , if you search here on assonance thread there is a link where you can 'cook it your self the way you want ...

yeah ive tried to cook it myself before and ended up failing miserably lol.
just think a touch of blue or green would be cool for some people. (just the battery i mean)
if u want to use the pics for anything u can.

No fighting ladies. I could make this real interesting and completely change the framework and make it near impossible to alter. Would you guys like that. As with the Axura thread, there is no flaming of any kind allowed when Axura's name is being used.

H icons are a very simple fix. Just extract the .png files from another framework-res.apk that has them (reefer's darkness mod for instance, since you said in the OP that you are already using some of his stuff) and drop them into yours, and update the archive. I've done that a number of times for different themes that didn't have the Hsupa icons when I'm running an Hsupa-enabled kernel.
EDIT: Nevermind. Ignore all that. Download just finished and the icons are there, so the issue is that they're not showing up.

This theme is flipping awesome!!! I like it and I feel that it matches better with my style. The only thing I would change is the menu options to have the gingerbread look. That way everything will be dark. Oh and if you do go that route careful with the font color. I used darkness for perception and that theme failed miserably with the font color being black as well as the menu option background. Just my two cents. Again great job on the theme!!!

[ROM] Ubuntdroid 4 Final-Optimus T

Kernel source was never posted, so I took it down, cause I guess it violates some really stupid forum rules....I'm sure people know by now they can find this on some of the better smartphone websites.

I thought this was Ubuntu on P500. Excelent job, this looks a promising ROM for Optimus T. I will not try it because the last one drained my battery due to some incompatibility.

Yeah, I still think there may be a few more differences in the optimus t & the optimus one than meets the eye, because last time optimus t users loved the battery life and optimus one users hated it.

works on p500 optimus one aswell , great work guys looks good and feeling nice to work with.

Use it for 2 days and then tell us the battery life. I had issues with the previous ROM developed by Joseph.

the ROm That gives me killer battery life is MEgaTron...i have tried all the ROMS posted in this forum (not this one) and i have to admit Megatron is the best ROm out there for P500...

right now i can say that this rom freeze about every half hour on my p500 o1.
i gonna wait a little bit then check it out again.

I'm satisfied with void., but I have to say, that this look awsome!!!

Unfortunately the transparencies on this phone can't be like they were on the intercept version, because as far as I can tell the .9.pro files don't take kindly to editing. The part of the pulldown with no text is transparent, hopefully soon the notifications in the dropdown will be black with white text, but that, a few kernel mods, and any bugfixes that are needed will probably be the only future edits, unless a good way of editing those comes along.

Rom is awesome but anytime i try to install an app from the market it either freezes or reboots the phone. I have wipe/rewiped/flashed and still nothin. Also i'm running P509 Optimus T.

In connectbot or adb shell, as su, try chmod 755 /data/app, I forgot to add that into the script.

I had the same problem. I rewiped and it fixed everything.

I have, about 3 times already and I still the same problem. Tried pushing an app through ADB and it rebooted the phone as soon as it started to install. So it doesn't look like it's just the market.

I'm currently using this rom for 3 day now, removed somke unwanted apps that I really don't need and added a gingerbread home instead of zeam...battery life is good. Nice work joseph and to the others who helped you develop this rom.

This will enable you to use all miui lockscreens on all samsung 2.3.x and aosp 2.3.x roms including CM7. I am using it in CM7 Kang without issues.

Yes you can! I have been using miui from time to time and i never delete the mods(.mtz), all of the lockscreens show up in the app.

Very nice. Works on CM7 on the Inspire.
Would be great to include with roms for devs who don't quite have the knowhow to add locks themselves. Great alternative.

This works great on my Cappy. It's so hard to choose which LS to use. There are 17 pages worth. I've been looking for the right one for an hour lol. Why do the default ones that come with the app come in Japanese? I can't get it off. You can download LS through the app itself, but all in Japanese.

I believe they're in Chinese, as MIUI is a Chinese rom. As for taking that off, I don't have an answer, other than to try tearing apart the .mtz files and seeing what you find (they should rename to .zip without too much trouble).

Yes as jm said it's in chinese. The best thing to do is to go to the LS thread (i posted links), download them and then copy to your miui theme folder.

MIUI is the best, love those lock screen themes.

I love this i just wish i could find a Star trek unlock screen

Just converted to my first miui rom and i have to say theme and lock screen options are just outta this world!
