Hello, all
Recently, I lost my stock ear phones. So,I'm looking for replacement.
I'm planning to use about 100 $ - 150 $.
Any recommendation? pls,
Please share ur experiences.
What I expected is .. for music and control calls.
Beats by Dr.Dre like (iBeats , JustBeats ) work on htc incredible S ? ( on Nik's Custom Rom with beats).
anybody did try?
I have iBeats and they are awesome! Works good on IncS just the control panel doesn't, but that's not so important imo. But they doesn't sound that good with htc beats software. Try DSP-Manager from CM7 and use that with stock htc player - awesome sound, really!
beats anything are overpriced for what you get.
Perusing the sages' writings at headfi is recommended. They have a few recommendations for earphones in your price range.

I heard lots of musicians or sound engineer saying so. But I guess that if you listen to electronic/dance/techno/dubstep... music for which you want great bass they can be good!

What does that mean" control panel doesn't work"? Can't u use next/previous to skip songs? and volume control? with iBeats.
thanks.

iBeats have this control panel thing(don't really know the English name). It's attached to the headphones itself. It doesn't work like it should, but you can play/pause tracks, I guess... Of course you can do everything propably on your phone itself...

Even under that criteria, there are still better options in the price range.
Check Skullcandy.

They are in your price range, and have excellent sound quality
I wouldnt go near beats, they are overpriced and a fashion statement
If you want truly good sound, go for a company that has experience creating speakers and headphones
Not beats or skullcandy
Just my 2 cents

Hello, I have HTC HD2 with Android MIUI on board. And I wanted to get new headphones, because the only headphones, that i have alive, are my old Phillips (5 years)
So can someone help me ?
1. i need them to be in-ear
2. they have to work with my phone
3. they must have flat wire
4. them must have L-shaped plug
I found only 2 headphones, that are OK with me, but i never head about 1 of them.
What i found: Beats Tour and a-Jays, but Beats don't have L-shaped plug, so i am sure, that they will die after month of using.
a-Jays have several versions, from one to four.Four was designed to fit iPhone, but it has all i need, so will it work with my HTC HD2?
Here are a-Jays four:

I'd try to find answers at : headfi.org . But don't forget to bring back your conclusions about your pick !
Get the aJays, I'm getting myself one soon.
Although they hinted that the headphones will work with the HD2 along with the buttons, they weren't direct. Here is their reply:
>Dear Faris,
Sorry for the lateness of our reply, it is vacation time in Sweden.
The product is design specifically for Apple’s own products and that is what we recommend you use it for. However, whilst some of the features (like answer calls / pause and play music etc.) might work with other devices, we have decided not to market it in this way.
Hope it answer your question.
Kind regards,
JAYS Support

Ämne: Will the a-Jays Four work with other smartphones?
Hello,
I'm contacting you regarding your product, a-JAYS Four. It says it was designed to fit and work with the iPhone, iPod and the iPad. Could it work with other phones like the HTC HD2 ?
And How will the buttons be functioning?
Thanks in advance.
looking forward to hearing from you.
Get these, them satisfy all your requirements except the flat cable and they have awesome SQ and are very well made.

Can I buy anywhere BOSE on a good price?
Hands down the Astro A*Stars. These are what I use on a daily basis, they're built for gaming, and work well on my PS3 as well (with their amplifier it does amazing surround sound), but they really pump on the HD2. I should note that I get my best performance from MIUI Music as well (I switch ROMs frequently), even though I love CM7, the MIUI music player (or try Uber Music) is noticeably clearer with these headphones and a few other I've tried. The in-line controls work well for play/pause on any ROM, volume controls are excellent, and I have literally stood in front of a fan and used them to make phone calls with total clarity. The mic is wind-shielded. My only wish for the product would be a skip button as well.

The lowest price on a BOSE headset is $80 at Sam's Club. Check this link out
http://www.samsclub.com/sams/shop/product.jsp?productId=prod2090595&pid=CSE_Froogle&ci_src=14110944&ci_sku=sku2017636
i got my in-ears from deal-extreme, they come for $1.80 so even if they break its no big deal..
Quality really isnt bad at all.
I have the Shure SE 215. For me they are really perfect and sound awesome.
But it depends on what kind of music you like. Do you want much bass or is the clarity important.
On head-fi.org forum you can get some really good advice for in-ear monitors. They helped me to.
Dear, I have these headphones:Sennheiser HD 201

Hello,
I would go for beats.
I use "Sony MDR-XB40EX" head set.
It's in ear, flat cable, L shape 3.5mm jack.
I love extra bass

What's your budget? Check out this thread from head-fi forums (http://www.head-fi.org/forum/thread...beyerdynamic-dtx-71-ie-dtx-101-ie-added-05-20) All the reviews are sorted out by price range. The best headphones I've used are Monster Turbine Pros and Klipsch Image S4s which are both in the under $200 category. Don't fall for the hype and stay away from Beats.
I use Bose MIE2 phones, nothing quite like it as I hate the ones that go inside your ear canal. Price 80 quid.
If you have the cash, the Sennheiser MM450 and MM550 are pretty much top of the line for bluetooth sets, and for IEMs I've found that most Ultimate Ears sets give me the sound I want (though they can get pricey for more professional models), but the mic doesn't work all the time for some reason. For example, they work with my girlfriend's IncS with a stock Froyo setup but not with mine running CM7.

Maybe this help.
I take this picture from a application called Electrodroid..
Pay attention on RED square.

they're loud and have nice bass + a mic fully working on the Incredible S. Also comes with a case.

I'm using my UE 600vi from my ipod, they sound great!
But have u noticed a sort of white noise at low level of volume?
It's pretty noticeable when you are in your bad with low volume during silence between tracks and in certain parts of songs when there is only some background rumor/music.

I was talking about the controls, they won't work (beside volume), that's why I referred to Bluetooth devices. When you have a Bluetooth device all the controls will work as supposed.
Ask yourself why they wouldn't work on the Sony? Never heard of a pair of headphones not working on a specific device, they would only cut their own fingers....
