Yes it is possible by Flashing a different baseband and different kernel with Flashtool.
For heavens' sake use the search function before asking a question.

Baseband version: yes.
Kernel: if you have an unlocked bootloader.
As the others have said, xda has a search tool. Pls use it as there are numerous threads that can help you out.

Hi,
Have you checked tonyp 's Baseband thread in DEV section? You should find all Information you need.
I guess there is no need to extract it yourselves.
BTW I guess it is 20120521 BB.
