Big fan of Launcher Pro. Buttery smooth with some nice customization options. However, half the time, I have to FC the launcher on reboot... marginally annoying =(
Zeam is also very smooth. But... not so many features. Haven't figured out how to customize dock icons.

ADW Pro has always been my favourite. So far the most customizable one I've come across. Used it for months without any problems.

+1. I don't know what they could do to improve beyond Nova either. Trebuchet has a lot of work to do itself...

It fits the Nexus S like a glove unlike Nova
I really like this launcher compared to Nova, but the deal breakers are:
* No ability to change icons
* Dock doesn't loop
Love the launcher tho just wish these features were present.

I'm with you here, I feel that Nova is an excellent improvement over the already good ICS launcher. The backup feature is brilliant for me.
I'll give this a try, there's always room in my life for more than one launcher
I need this for my trusty Gingerbread ROM.

I'm loving Apex Launcher for the Xoom (I'm on Team EOS nightly Wi fi)....
And I see that its new feature is its "customizable dock"....but I can't find the option anywhere??

I use Nova on my phone, never used Apex. I'll have to check it out.
One big thing for me would be adw theme support. Does Apex support those?

I'm using Apex Launcher (pro) on my xoom as well and I do have an option to enable the dock. Just go to the settings menu and scroll down and uncheck hide dock. The dock should be there.

with a tablet I don't use the dock now, I just use it as it is,
Dock works fine on my eos nightly. Just enable it in settings!

Nova dock works on the Xoom fine. I don't use, but I checked it out. I do use it on my phone though.
Apex and Nova are basically mirrors of each other from what I have used of both of them. I prefer Nova basically because I bought the license so even though I like Apex, I stay with the Nova.

Nova launcher for me, i find it more snappier than apex and widgets on nova align better in my experience.

bro i didnt like launchers like nova or else......i tried TSF shell....it depend on ur choice but u should give it a try......its best snappy and fastest and beautiful launcher.

Cm9 with Trebuchet is the best. Clean, fast and easy on the eyes.
Apex for me is smoother than Nova but Holo HD is really good too!

Just make a quick search on google or on this forum...there's a ton of launcher.
Go Launcher EX, Holo Launcher, Xperia Launcher, LauncherPro, Nova Launcher, Apex Launcher, Espier Launcher......
Personally, I use Holo Launcher with Holo Notifier and Holo Locker. :good:

Dude, it's not cyanogOn, it's cyanogEn. As for best, you have to try. I was using 360 launcher. Such a smooth performance and eye candy to top it off.
The Launchers I like most are ssLauncher and Xperia Launcher. TW Launcher is also pretty good

LauncherPro is a good launcher but it was abbandoned, it is more than a year since it wasn't updated. I use Apex launcher and I'm satisfied... Also, good launchers are holo launcher, atom launcher and nemus launcher... you can try them, they are free on google play...
Apex and Atom launchers are ICS+ only.

Be prepared to receive LG UI 2.0 (Launcher) for CM7 (and also CM9 I guess). I ported it today. Still have to port the widgets. But smoothness of launcher is awesome!
