[Q] Play Store Apps - Galaxy Ace S5830 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Is there any way to get the .apk files link on Plaay Store? (I mean free apps and paid apps apk too)
(Cause i want to modyfi a rom's installer to include an app, but if i save it by Titanium Backup, and i pick off the apk file of the zip, it won't work...

This is a pretty good extension for chrome - *Link removed (against google's policy)*
It works with free apps and paid apps (if you have paid for them) Respect the devs and don't use this tool to post warez
Note - this isnt a warez tool, it wont work with paid apps unless you have already bought them

Didnt see that actually, will remove link.
Its just because google say that if you get something from the play store, you have to be directly using the play store.

One more question, i just want a yes or a no.
Is it possible to download paid apps for free from play store (at the latest version) ? (Not black market) Yes or No?

Tunee music

On my captivate I was able to use tunee music app but am unable to find in the market on my sns.
Any help would be awesome.
Thanks

I've had this app for quite a while and I know it's been in and out of the market, most likely because it's in a legal gray area. I remember recommending it to my coworkers only to discover it wasn't in the market any longer. It came back a couple months later with a free and paid version, but now there are only paid versions.
Tunee.net has a downloadable apk and I'm not sure if that's the newer one or not, but it's worth a shot.
Thanks, just had to update my market and then found it.
Thanks again

[MOD] ADBlock (advertisement)

Hi guys,
this is my first post in Nexus S section. Wildfire is my previous device.
This is an ADblock file that will block almost all annoying advertisement (except those app made by Chinese from China [it do block, but not all]) in your app and browser as well.
Advantages
Free at all, does not use system service, update is not required.
Attachments
HOST.zip: Updated on June 2011
HOST1.zip: Updated on June 2010 (try this one if the first one doesn't block some of your app ads.)
Instruction:
1. Unzip the file and you will get a file named HOSTS.
2. Copy and paste the HOSTS via root explorer to system/etc.
3. Reboot system, and open an app with advertisement and you will see the advertisement is blocked.
Thanks for viewing.
Please hit a "Thanks" if you like it!
Would this work on sgs miui as well?

This script blocked ads from 21k site. It is like windows, they built in the feature but lack of ad block file.
I checked root tools from market, it doesn't block much of the site. It is paid app..
Adfree use service, this doesnt. If you use task killer, it wont kill.

Just tried, superb!!! I use the HOST1.zip. 1st time saw Malaysian developer, Malaysia Boleh!!!

Oh and to answer your question ... i didn't bother to update my flashable hosts file for the new recovery... cause tbh i don't really care about ads anymore xD (also including laziness)
Oh and i don't think the boot.img has anything to do with the camera recording (not that i know of course)

No one here uses adblock we all use "adfree" which is free and does EVERYTHING.
Personally, I have recently decided to keep the ads. They are the sole reason we have some quality games especially free ones. Its not like we are in abundance with android app developers, if simply having a small ad will keep them going, please support them.

Scrabble

Somebody please get this up and going for the xoom
I was about to side load it....see how that goes.
XOOM
Why bother? It's a POS compared to WordFeud.
I was just going to install this when I noticed the app doesn't install on Xoom. I must say this makes me really disappointed and brings a huge spotlight to splintered status of Android.
That said, I find it hard to blame Google solely. I much rather blame EA. Its not like they couldn't have made the app work on both platforms.
Sent from my Xoom using XDA Premium App
I side-loaded it. It works but not great. It is 1/4 screen and has graphical issues in the unused space. The music sucks too. I haven't gotten to play a game yet but the game does seem to run and the HC3.2 full screen trick will probably handle the screen size issues.

Can you post a link to the APK, I would like to give it a go even though it apparently only partially works. Or send to [email protected] Thanks!

I loaded it on my TB, haven't tried moving it to my Xoom yet...
It is disappointing that this new Free version doesn't support "local" play only... or play against the "computer."
Anyone get the apk out?

That would be warez, unless of course you are asking for the trial version. The trial version does suck a$$ though. See below.

+1 It is pointless for me, i just wanted to grab a quick me vs computer game to try it before i buy it.
There was a free version of scrabble. So that would not be warez. Anyone know where to find the apk in the file system? I can pull it from my TB or tab.

Premium licenses are there so that you can give the dev a small donation for all of his hard work, and in return get a couple of cool features. NOT for you to steal and then see if they work, because they won't.

I'm not gonna badger on about stealing because you've already been told, but I think when you buy the premium licence, its device specific meaning....the information in build.prop will have to match the information embedded in the app, but a word of advice....don't steal mate, your paying for developers time and effort and now you've mentioned you download from different websites....chances are no-one will help you anymore mate

When you purchase the premium license for the ROM manager or any other app from the android market, it can be downloaded and used on any of your registered devices.
ok i think i got it,seriously, you can stop with that now...i'll not use or try to use in that premium thing... thank again everybody and respect, really!
I was thinking about using ROM Manager. A video online I saw seemed to show it was an easy way to try out different ROMs on my new (used) Droid Incredible I just bought. Is there any down side to using ROM Manager? I have no problem paying for it!
Even if I have not associated my new phone to my Verizon account yet, can I just download/install ROM Manager from the App Store if I connect my phone to my WIFI network at home?
Thanks for any feedback you can provide. I am totally new to Android, just migrated from WebOS.

Google search incompatible!?!

After the recent update to google search, it has become incompatible with our galaxy mini. Youtube has the same problem. But there is a separate thread for youtube here:http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1846009 . If some one has the last working version, please post here. I recently switched back to stock rom from cm10 (great rom anyway!) by TheWhisp and now as I had to wipe data and cache, I am having a very old version. If someone has the last working version please post it here. Any help will be appreciated and thanked.

What is 1mobile market?
they are supported no need to protest
Google play include many criteria in determining app compatibility and sometimes one or two thing don't meet the requirement and server thinks that mobile is compatible but in actual they works
1mobile market is another app store for android like amazon.com which only contains free apps, it do not check for compatible so no problem in downloading
