Hi,
Me and a couple of friends building a ROM now.
We want everything in the ROM to be small and it will look like the resolution is high, like in the SlimRom.
How can we do it?
Thanks everybody!
Try to resize graphics from every system apk... Should work.
In res/drawable something like that

If one was wanting to revert back to the stock Cyanogen bootscreen/status bar icons etc how do you do it?
Thanks
With a backup you took prior to install

Brilliant m8. I was waiting for this so i could use RC1.
Many thanks
Will this still only show 3g and not hspda, does that need to be patched on the cyanogen side?

Ah I didn't do this, oh well I kinda like it now I've gotten used to it, a transparent status bar would look nice.
The battery indicator would be nice in finer increments and not just an entire quarter, would be more precise that way.
Thanks for the theme. Though Im stuck on the In Cyanogen Settings, choose custom theme. Select "thyrusminimal" theme. part.
Im going to settings / CyanogenMod settings but I see no custom theme settings :/
Great theme
Just installed the theme, really like it alot. The font is great but why the 2 dpi versions? Or sm i being noobish? Keep up you excellent work.

Thank you, sir!
The 2 dpi settings have a purpose. On the standard 240 dpi from android, a lot of the screen potential gets lost. Keep in mind that the 240 dpi with 800x480 settings were designed for the 3.7 screen sizes. As such, a 4.3 inch screen is a little bit of an overkill. Test it yourself, you can swap between both themes easily

Installed the 200dpi version and wow it's so much better, seems like a lot more space on the screen, it's easier on the eye too.
So this theme only works with CM?
Waiting for RC2 update
CyanogenMod for Desire HD
I havent installed rc2 yet, but I heard from others that my theme works just fine with RC2 as well without any amendments.. will try it out
Installed Rc2 with a wipe first, and elements of the theme are still present. How do you remove, as there is an issue with the standard twitter client. The theme makes the sign in button transparent! Guessed where the button normally is and managed to sign in.

Use Tweetdeck, it's a lot nicer.
So as the title asks... Why are all the fonts I install so small compared to the stock font?
I mean they are not "miniscule" but they appear quite a bit smaller than the stock font and are hard on the eyes.
Are they like this for everyone?

Even these ones ? http://www.appbrain.com/app/cleanex-flipfont/com.monotype.android.font.cleanex
And you didnt mess with LCD density right? (even though that would make all fonts small )

I have installed some from the FLIPFONTS thread in Themes and Apps but they all instal to small.

How did you change the density?

Haha, did you have the tiny fingers to use those icons effectively?
for some reason lcd density changer doesn't work for me
why would anyone even want to have so many and so small, icons on their desktops ?
It doesnt look very good, and it makes operating the phone difficult - I wouldent be able to hit these dotsized icons.
How did you get the boxes on the home screen with games, apps market ect to seperate them all???

I'd like to know this too.
I am wondering what value everyone is using for their LCD Density?
I am using ROM Toolbox Lite to change it, currently on a value of 210 (on DMORE 3.3 ROM), which seems a good compromise.
EDIT: Please add which ROM you are using when you suggest your density
Hi, I'm on Slim ics v4.0 and as standard Dpi is set to 182 and I find it really clear and defined. Any lower and icons are not spaced out right on the home screen. (Trebuchet). Got rid of lightning launcher

Hey guys,
I was on 182 and I loved it.
Just upgraded to X-Bean and now I've lost the higher resolution.
Do you know the best way to get it back?
I had SlimICS before which had a settings menu with the option.
Thanks
I'm using 182 in Slim Bean. Kind of weird at first (started with 182 in SlimICS), but got used now and can't go back!

OP suggests ROM Toolbox allows you to change it, you should try that.

Using 210 DPI, since I flashed Elite's rom.
I use now 200 dpi but also 182 looks good.
Tiramisu (based on SlimICS).
question: how to calculate the resolution for 200 dpi and 182 ... at 240 it is 800x480. (need to modify the IGO8 setting) thanx

I used the build.prop editor available in the play store to change the density to 182. You then need to reboot to apply the changes. You also need to get a multi dpi play store installed as you will get incompatibility errors otherwise.

I used this for the store and it seems to work perfectly ... just flash from cwm ... and follow the directions

For Galaxy S is 240
For Galaxy S is 240
if Galaxy Nexus is 320 but if you try this it will make font and other bigger than expectation.
if use 160 is for tablet mode that make you gain more space but it will make your eye sight shor
Hey,
I wanted to change the dpi in order to let the icons on my screen appear bigger.
But I don't know which values I should set since I don't really know how this works..
So could anybody tell me the values which won't brick my phone?
Thanks

use lcd density modder pro.
if you use the free version you will get play compatibility issues.

I used this app once, you need root access and that's it, there is a higher density and does make icons larger, i would lower it though
