S5839I
nandroid are rom backups ....the whole rom gets backed-up ( ya , u knew it ) ...i dont see u backing up ur rom to flash a new rom as there are no roms for your device ....if u want to backup apps use Titanium backup

will i need to root my device before i flash a custom rom?
not really, most customs roms now root the phone as part of the installation.
although you may need root, to get CWM / 2e Recovery unless you flash thru odin
thanks! i think i might flash darky's
you can do that via odin, and darkys wil root for you so all good.
the guide should help me through

Hehe thats very easy to fix.
1. download ODIN and install it on ur pc.
2. go here http://www.theandroidsoul.com/fuguroot-galaxy-s-how-to If u r rooted then skip this link!!!
3. go here and install the GingerReal rom then it will work
http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1025348
Edit : U might need a korean kernal but try first the one used in the link 3.
That's because you're running Recovery 3e, which only flashes verified and signed update.zip packages. This is not the case for most of the content coming from XDA. Thus, you must either acquire Recovery 2e, or better yet, CWM Recovery. Search here for help regarding the same..
I hereby CLOSE this thread because of the dumbness it brought! Don't flash the stock from of s3!
This thread is supposed a request to port some apps/functions of s3 to our Tab,
(But some people can't understand NOOBS)

that would be very nice. But do you know how to get the code to port it to our P-1000?
Code?? What code?? Idk anything haha.
I have aokp build 35 on my grab p1000 I'm wondering if this ROM would work:

Mods
Please close this thread.
To OP:
GS3 ROM cannot be ported to our Tab since each ROM is based on the Hardware of that device.
If u flash a ROM of another device which has different hardware, u will hard brick ur device.
PS: If u want to install any i9300 apk in ur Tab, then u can proceed, provided u run ICS in ur Tab.

The second has been to change the format completely

Hello , this is my first thread .
5 days ago I tried to root my phone and install cwm on my stock marshmelow and it just brick my phone .
I didn't had backup so I flashed this stock marshmelow rom - http://forum.xda-developers.com/lenovo-a7000/development/stock-firmware-lenovo-a7000-t3205505 and because of this I lost my imei no. , No sim card is detected And no baseband no. . To solve this issue I tried many softwares like sn tools , mauimeta etc .. none worked , I also reverted my marshmelow back to lollipop stock but still no imei and no baseband . But I found out that I can recover them with backup of nvram.bin of the same model - http://www.droidgyan.com/nvram-restore/
But for that I need help of you , I want your device's backup which wont take more than 15 mins to do here's guide about that - http://www.droidgyan.com/nvram-backup/ .
,
plz help me sir , upload the whole backup you created by mtk droid tools
Screenshots of none baseband
