Hi how to instal speedmod kernel on RR V7? Is this suitable using speedmod kernel on RR V7?
you can just flash it through CWM directly or flash it through CWM after jBroid cleaning script.

I am using rooted odexed ddkq8 stock rom with stock kernel..
I want to convert to ext4 so that I can do nandroid backups/restore easily..
Please help me with this..

You can create a nandroid backup of stock odexed rom in rfs without problem.
To restore it you need to be in a rfs format system, which can be easily achieved with odin.
To convert your stock to ext4 i think the easiest is to flash cf-root and run the 'ext4 manager' app.
So its not possible with stock kernel..isn't it?

Stick it in a flowerpot, and apply some water. I advice watering it twice a day. After a week, you'll see the new grown roots.
Cheers, Markus
If u already have a custom rom then itz rooted

If you dont have CWM as a recovery, you will first need to flash a cwm recovery image through odin. [or heimdall]
If you do have CWM as recovery try to flash a SU package [Superuser-3.0.7-efghi-signed.zip?]. That will root / install superuser on your device.
Once both are done you can proceed with backingup&& flashing new roms.
Goodluck.
