Is anyone experiencing issues with wifi?
I'm running RocketRom v7 with LR1 modem and LQ2 kernel.
I don't know exactly when this started but when I'm at home my wifi randomly disconnects and it reconnects when I turn wifi off and back on.
Also, the phone seems to switch back and forth between H+ and 3G quite often even in areas where the signal strength is good.
Is this ROM/kernel specific problem or modem problem?

I am not sure if this is ROM related or not, but when I have wifi running and connected, and Hello IM running, and I sleep my G1, usually about 5+mins later when I wake it back up it will be on Edge or 3G, and when I unlock my G1 it disconnects Edge/3G and connects back to the wifi network. Keep in mind my G1 will be in the same spot from when I put it to sleep, so network signal is not an issue, and I never had this issue b4. Any input?

I have a AT&T Nexus One and this thing seems to periodically lose 3G access. It will be working fine, I sleep the device, and when I go to use it I notice there is no 3G or WIFI connectivity showing, just signal bars. To get WIFI and 3G to work again I need to toggle airplane mode.
This perplexes me quite a bit, and it is VERY annoying. It randomly happens throughout the day with no real reason behind it (as far as I can tell).
More info: I have experienced this issue while using stock ROM with Froyo, the HTC Sense UI ROM for the N1, and evil D's Froyo ROM.
Has anyone else experienced this? It doesn't drop to EDGE but actually just loses all connectivity until an airplane toggle.

I'm on Viperone however I remember this happening on stock rom as well.
I live in a sketchy signal area where the phon can flip back and forth to roaming. Each time that happens I loose wifi connectivity. If it cycles a lot it gets pretty annoying. Does anyone know of a fix for this?
i'm experiencing this problem since upgrading to marshmellow:
when in low signal areas i have a problem with the 3g/lte modem not reconnecting after finding a signal again. I can see 1 or 2 bars but data doesn't work. I need to flip airplane mode on and off. i'm on TMO, not rooted. Anyone else notice this?

I am using my I9000 for a good while now and i am running cm11-20150901-SNAPSHOT-XNG3CAO3G0-galaxysmtd. Everything was running fine so far, but suddenly for some days now, the WIFI connection somehow gets lost when it's idle.
When this happens (and i don't know on what timeframe it does) and i activate the phone (pressing the home button) the WIFI symbol is either shown and then disappears or is already gone - but then after some seconds comes back and WIFI is on again.
Yes, i do have the setting for standby WIFI on always, so this should not happen.
Does anyone have an idea what could be the problem here?
Also i do have a fritz.box 7390 which supports a 5GHZ network - does the I9000 support a 5GHZ wifi? Maybe it's the router that's causing the issue an switching to the 5GHZ might fix it - but so far i could not see the network when it's on 5GHZ.. So i guess it's not supported but thought i might ask anyways...
