does anyone know where i can get replacement parts for huawei ascend x ive searched google a hundred times with no luck... i mainly need the digitizer but i think i might need a lcd also if anyone can help that would be great!!
Thanks in advance!
Pragmatic solution- buy a new phone.
Also it depends upon your country,
As for India i don't expect much as this phone is not very popular here, i couldn't get an spare battery in Karol bagh, New Delhi even though its a huge market for mobile accessories.

I bought nexus s from craigslist and got ripped off... Someone sold me a phone without back battery cover. It came with a case and seller was in a hurry so I bought it by inspecting the software.
Can some one help me in buying a cheap case? Nfc is not a problem for me... I just want a 10-15 bucks battery cover...

Call Samsung support. They'll ask for imei and just tell then you broke your battery cover. Then say you heard they sold replacements. They'll check and then they'll sell it to you for $16. Took a little more than a week for me to get one.

lol he probably wasnt actually he in a hurry. it missing the back cover leads me to believe that he probably stole it off a display.

Thanks man! you saved my life. Just called samsung support and had them send me the back cover for $16.23 with free 5-7 days shipping.
I also asked for the warranty on the product and they said that it was till March 2012. I also noticed that the screen has permanent impression of the virtual keyboard on it. First i thought that restoring to factoring settings will fix it but no... I still have the virtual keyboard impressions on the screen. I think it is the problem with the digitizer. They said that they will replace it for free. Now I am gonna have a cool phone once it comes back from Samsung.
Thanks a ton for showing me the way.
Anyhow, one more question, My phone is rooted and is running a custom rom on it, is it still under warranty? I am sure there should be a way to unlock the bootloader and return back to stock ROM, can you show me a thread please... I am gonna search also but I want to make sure I am doing it right before i do it... so that they don't deny me the warranty...
Thanks,
Edit/update: searched and found everything. Returned back to stock. It's so simple with nexus s! Thanks everyone who helped me

Go to samsungs nexus s website, the number will be listed where it says support. You just talk to a rep who will handle everything.

Just google samsung support phone number. It will help if you register your phone on their website before calling because that will save you some time.

Get it done from the service centre, why take the risk with a 33k device ??
Just comparing the price difference..
Thought of saving at least a grand..

Same here, I dropped mine hald a year ago and there is a big crack on top right of the screen. It is not getting worse, so I did not be bother to get it replaced, BTW the screen was around £180 that time, sigh
Today I enquired and it costs 9500rs (approximately 190 $)

Try getting it separate through some after market dealer and take it to the service centre. By that way you can save around 2k for sure.

The Samsung website is remarkably difficult to decipher when it comes to this. I am fine with mailing my phone somewhere and waiting for a repair, and fine with being billed for the repair -- the USB port broke because I dropped it one too many times with the cable connected -- but I can't figure out who is supposed to take my money and fix the thing! Help?
there are these parts on ebay and other sites. and lots of tutorials on how to change it.

Wow. This never even occurred to me; I never imagined it would be user-replaceable. I guess this must be a fairly common problem.
eBay seems to have them only arrive in a month, Amazon doesn't seem to have them at all. Is there anyone who can deliver this week that you know of? I really don't know where to look for this kind of thing.
I'm sorry I am in a different continent and here in know local phone repair shops who can get it soon for me. Try them in ur area

One of my good mates had an i9000 with working screen and sensor in good condition. He was going to sell the screen and sensor for £45. I'll ask him if he still has it if you're interested, I think he probably does. Don't think he's had the time to sell it, he works on the oil rigs and has been away a lot lately.
Dundee, UK by the way..
