Use Applock..
Sent from my Galaxy Note running ParanoidAndroid v0.3 using XDA Premium. xD
thank you!
is it easy to enable/disable it?
i would rarely need this. for eg: someone needs to check something on the internet ... i'd like to be able to lock my email and the rest "at a click of a button"
i don't want to have this "on" all the time.

Yup, it has a simple 1x1 widget. Tap it to enable it, tab again, enter the password to disable it !
top right, that's the widget..

Cause in some apps it uses the back function of the key before screenshot is taken....
For example if you use Opera Mobile, then it will go back a page instantly when I tap the back key to take a screenshot....
Even happens with WhatsApp messenger....
It goes back to the contact list of WhatsApp when I try to take screenshot of a chat....

I've used Screen Capture Shortcut for years on my Samsung Captivate, but now the market says it's incompatible with my device. Maybe because I rooted?

Quite possible.
Mainly, it does not work with Cyanogen Mod.
Screenshot it

its not that easy to just "search" a forum for a specific picture you know nothing about
but thanks
you can use google goggles to scan the picture, it usually recognizes the wallpaper and provides you links etc.

not sure if it's only on navigation_bar.xml only or due to other things

thanks, added on my "MOD" thread - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2225318
Could you add the power button instead menu?
Is it possible to change the sound that the alarm makes in the stock clock app?
I mean the 'ringtone' for the alarm.
If I go into my alarm the 3rd setting (after "Time" and "Repeat") is "Alarm sound". But it's greyed out and is set at "Default ringtone (Alarm)". I can't find anywhere to change that through the general Sound settings or anywhere.
Thank you.
go to Advanced and uncheck Style settings
If you have a file manager installed you may see this and you'll be able to choose you're own file

Yes. I missed the other post somehow. You, chewdaniel, gave me a simple answer to my exact question. Thank you very much indeed.
On my previous Lollipop phone it was possible to set an apps notification to Hide Sensitive Content to prevent it from displaying specific details on the lock screen. A really good feature of Lollipop that I'm really missing here now on the Mate S.
I know this is EMUI 3.1 but just wondered if anyone knows how to activate this same setting, its got to be in there somewhere.

You can find the setting under "Screen lock and password" in settings.

yeah I've tried that but that appears to only be relevant to Messages (i.e text messages) it doesnt seem to affect other apps like WhatsApp.
Thanks though, any other suggestions?
