Galaxy s kernel question

Hi to all...i have darky's v8 rom installed and it's awesome!!but I would like to overclock my device and I'll need to swich to another kernel...can I just flash the new kernel over my rom or doi need to anythinh else before I do that??any help appreciated!!!

Make sure lag fix is disabled and the kernel supports JPY rom

[Help] problem with ma Bluetooth

Gyz need help I've flashed cm7.2 cyanmobile revo a by squad
When ever i enable bluetooth it closes by it self it happens on cyanogen rom only where as it works fine with other rom
So could someone help me out

have you tried to restore system data with tibu if yes then never ever do that restoring system data do many wrong things to devices

then do it!

it must be a bad wipe you should do a clean flash by wiping data/cache before and after flashing process and if you don't want to loose data back up the user data with tibu

Flash RC 5.7 Its better than urs. But it still have few bugs. But I'm stick to it

Bluetooth works with all the other roms except cm based roms

trying to fresh install...
wipe data& cache
wipe dalvik n battery stats
then flash rom u wants again...
if still not working it must your baseband wrong or u can try change previous boot.img in zip file

I'm using cwm 5.0.2.7 with v6+kernelizer+wifi afterburner... It boot loop at first.. But after wipe chace and wipe dalvic.. It just fine and fast til right now

Phone reboots itself when watching youtube

Hi,
this has happened to me quite many times in different Custom Roms (ie. CM9.1 RC2, ImaGinary, XperiaICS v2, Paranoiandroid). When I watch youtube vids (usually 10-30min.) my phone suddenly reboots itself. How can I solve this problem? I havent overclocked my CPU, I'm currently using CM9.1 RC2 Rom. please help me it's very annoying when phone boots in middle of vid.

All CM9.1 RC2 has this issue.
Use CM7 to prevent this issue.

I have used CM7 Roms, but I felt love with maclaw roms . Is CM7 rom only way to solve this?

Cm9 as cwm. Hold power off button. Select restart , then recovery.
