How do I return to complete stock - LG Optimus 2x

Hello, what is the quickest way to return to complete stock coming from cm7?

you can flash original stock rom using, for example, smartflash.
See link here, post #37, to download the stock
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=27734200
stock roms vary depending on where and when you originally bought your o2x

And if you dont know which rom was for your region, just flash old v10b rom via nvflash and then do lg update. I did it two times for warranty repairs.

If you have the original rom nandroid backup then that's ok right?

Yes, but I'm guessing it would be a rooted version of your stock rom.

Reset date to 2007/1/1

My 2x is one year old and now after battery removal it sets up with 2007/1/1 and gets the update only after it gets online.
Any solution?
I realized it after testing new debug ICS roms and nflash back to GB rom.

Thank you again.
I mean from now on every time I remove the battery the date will be resetted to 2007 before the update via wifi?
Open LG updater, recover phone by imei, then you'll get the latest firmware update available and at the same time your phone will be scanned and repaired. You might have to downgrade baseband before doing this, don't remember it. And you have to re root and flash cwm after the recovery/updater finish

No way.
I flashed bb 10D then launched LG Mobile Tool, selected emergency recovery, inserted imei, it updated to 20S but no firmware update and after battery removal date is always 2007.

Returning to stock

Hi all,
Thinking of selling my i9000 soon (to upgrade to an S3), before I sell it. I'd like to return it to a stock rom and unroot it (currently on CM9), which stock rom should I use? How do I unroot it, and how do I remove all my personal information?
Thanks in advance
Rob

Thanks! Do I need to use a PIT and repartition? Are there any things to look out for since I'm going from ICS to GB, or is it just the same as flashing any other Odin ROM?
Sorry for all the questions
There is no problem to go back to gb from ics if you use odin.just flash it and you are done.

Excellent! I read somewhere a while back that there was, must have misread it...
Thanks!

I thought that it is not that easy because some ICS use different filesystems.
If you want to get back to gb custom rom it's difficult.odin is used to flash official firmware.

There is no issue ,use odin to go back to unrooted gb and then root it and install whatever rom you want.

This one will help you. As I said it is not that easy and needs some patience from you, but you will succeed.

So I am supposed to flash
GB-Stock-Safe-v5 \ Hotfile - 4shared
?
and it will give me the stock rom?
That is right.
That is one of the Samsung stock, JQ1 for Italy.
Download the guide too.
And this is a good base to flash overcome kernel, which gives you cwm recovery, which is what you need if you want to flash any custom Rom.
