So excited for this build!

Thanks you your work!
edit: running smooth!
Some feedback
Working great so far, not working with current Wallet installer which is around, same as Brainmaster's I wonder what is different that doesn't allow wallet to run.
Backups are fine (no kidding, some roms rename stuff in build.props and it messes with nandroid names. I am to lazy to go in and change it)
Performance is great no crash on setup (like pure OTA).
Super user working.
I like it, good job!
are there any known bugs??

Thanks... Wallet wise it is interesting the modded ones don't work i guess the tweaks to bypass the limit aren't ics compatable. There was reports that the original release of wallet worked on my other thread.

Thanks Currently trying out a v4 build with ota update disabled and Matr1x-cfs_v12.5... Seems faster over all.
Odds are will be released today if it works out during my brief test.

Mon grats for the upload; even without the tweaks it's far easier to implement on a previously-rooted (CM7) 'phone than reverting to stock and using the standard upgrade.
Been tinkering with it for the past hour or so and seems as stable as anyone could wish for.
Can't stand the limitations of the built-in launcher (though it _is_ much better than the Froyo/Gingerbread launchers), but couldn't be bothered installing & configuring LauncherPro (if it's compatible with ICS?) given that it's almost 5:30am here :-/
An annoyance I noticed (ICS annoyance, that is - not your fault) is that it didn't seem to restore saved WiFi settings from the Google backup, so I've currently only got the network I'm connected to at the moment in there. Or does it hide all other networks until they're in range? If it's "forgotten" them, it looks like I'll be re-configuring settings for a couple of dozen office & customer networks over the next few weeks
No text in Facebook
First up: Thanks for doing this, I appreciate it!
For me: Neither using Facebook's app, or the website, shows any text. It's there (as there's space for it), and I can see the pictures and everything else, but no text.
This is with V2.
Any thoughts on a fix? I saw some other people mention this issue as well.
Hey there, tried a lot of other stock and somewhat tweaked ICS roms. Came back to yours, clean, not a single force close or reboot. I am a perfectionist I can live without Wallet but it would be nice to have if you can integrate it in the future.
Thanks for such a nice rom
Will you release v4 soon?
Thanks..

Thanks man, I'll give it a try when updating to v4 I'd hate to wipe my newly set up rom, been flashing rom after rom since OTA release. I tried the one made specifically for 4.0.3 but not working for some reason.
this is a support thread for my ROM based on JJ's Hybrid v3.2 and Sony ICS
ok, i guess everyone knows jjdoctor's great ROM for Arc/ArcS or has even read the the thread
by now I don't know a AOSP ROM or a Port for our Xperia Pro so i thought about porting this one and succeeded
plus I use Sony ICS sources and created an even more stable ICS experience
features
stable and perfect daily driver for xperia pro
Sony ICS libs
AOSP apps from JJ Hybrid 3.2
essential GApps - calendar&contacts sync
very good battery life
tweaked init.d and build.prop
no bloatware
recommended Riyal-Kernel adds SuperUser, the ROM supports root
apps
full AOSP look without theming (no Sony look anymore)
AOSP dialer with T9
AOSP apps - Calendar, e-mail, contacts, gallery, music, calc..
google playstore 3.7.13 no-autoupdate no-restrictions
htc_ime with WP7 skin (fits well in) and replaced Latin_IME
Sony Camera with flash working
zeam launcher in system - so you can easy install your fav ICS launcher via playstore
file explorer preinstalled in data\app so you can replace with your choice
there's no supercharger integrated as I'm with Riyal's opinion here
(don't know what I'm talking about?? go here)
I'm going to publish screenshots asap - for now go to jj's thread and have a look there ... baiscally it's the google AOSP look

recommendations and installation procedure
I recommend you get Riyal's great kernel and use this one with my ROM
you can get it here
don't forget to update also the wifi modules
how to install:
get Riyal's kernel
install my ROM via CWM
flash wifi modules that come with the kernel
eventually flash your hardware keyboard layout
reboot and wait
actually the updater-script will do the whiping, but whiping via CWM won't hurt
no whipe no whine
if this does not say anything to you, try reading here
screenshots
will be here soon.. I haven't taken yet

!!ndED.9 has a major bug with the hardware keyboard! I'm working on it, but this may take me some more time to track down this bug!!
equalizer in Music also does not work, but it plays your songs.. just don't open settings > sound effects
apart from this it is fully functional

Ok, so far I'm loving this.
It's what I liked about CyanogenMod9 with all the Sony stuff I wanted this cellphone for (Camera, Bravia Engine).
So far here goes the first bug:
- The Wallpaper isn't working correctly. Scroll all the way to the left, there's a black part.
Ok, keyboard is stuck to Arabic and Ameer's zip makes it worse... (Trying Qwerty-Latin on Stroke cellphone).

I sent you a PM with some files to test.
Tried it. No go.
Isn't there a way to extract the HW keyboard selection from CM9 ROM/Kernel and port it to Stock Kernel?

That's the only ROM with a truly working hw keyboard layout support. So not a bad idea at all.

I'm not quite sure but I tested CM months ago and I think the keyboard layout you're all taking about is integrated in the settings of CM. So... Porting it would probably means porting CM9 settings apk to stock version. But doing so would disable xloud, bravia and other Sony independent settings.
Anyways... great port finally a new one has arrived for our device.
Ok, I got god damn stressed and furious with this keyboard problem but I finally fixed it (this for Qwerty Keyboards).
I attach here a flashable through CWM zip that will defenitely change the keyboard to Qwerty once and for all.
Can you guys help me test it? I test it on my cellphone twice and it worked.
For sure it will work on my own same type of cellphone (MK16i with Stroke Keyboard).
Dunno if you guys want to test it yourselves.

First of all, please do not go on talking about the qwerty layout being wrong, whereas you have stroke layout. My zip file is correct and works for me and loads of others. Please do not keep on posting wrong information which will confuse users. And be informed: QWERTY and Stroke are 2 different layouts with similarities. The fact that my zip file for QWERTY layout not working on your phone, which has a Stroke layout, does not make my files wrong. Instead, it makes you wrong.

I don't diminish your work at all. But watching all the replies on the thread it indicates that your zip files haven't worked dude. I don't have a number of people who's zip have worked because they haven't replied on your thread.
Maybe as you say it will work on the respective cellphones but it isn't working on mine and you haven't uploaded the stroke one.
Also: I just did a third test. Full wipe, reinstalled the Rom. Booted and did the initial settings. Flashed my zip and it gave me Qwerty keyboard for Stroke.
It's the file from the system folder that has the assignment of each key so it shouldn't be wrong dude (the one from Jozinek's thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1710777) and forced into the ROM's layout.
So it is not flawed and I can't prove yours are flawed either.

Nothing to settle. If one doesn't work, try the other. Thing is leaving this ROM fully functional. No need to argue bout what works and what does.
Try one? Doesn't work. Try the other.
Everyone is in love with AOKP and some of the other ROMs and kernels around here, but I didn't want or need everything that was added in to them. So, being that Android is open source, I decided to make my own. If you love a lot of customization, pull down toggles, and having everything (kitchen sink included), then this probably isn't going to be the combination for you, so you can save yourself some time and just look elsewhere. My ROM is close to stock AOSP, with a few extras added in that I wanted to help with usability without being over the top. If you like the stock JB experience, but feel that it's missing just a little bit, then this combination may be for you.
To go with the ROM, I put together a mostly stock kernel as well. The kernel is based on the same source as the CM10 kernel, but I've added in a few items and removed stuff that isn't really needed for most users. The GApps are also packaged in, so only one package to flash to get everything you want.
ROM Features

Linaro Toolchain, -O3, & strict-aliasing

Yes, but you'll loose the functionality of Google Now. Same with the iPhone 4. Google Now works on the 4S and 5, but Google Maps will fail to load on all iPhone models.
In other news, I've been using this for a day, so I've tested most of the major items, but there is surely stuff I haven't done or tried yet, so please report any bugs or issues and I'll attempt to fix them.

ok then i try to flash it now
Seems that while GPS still works for me, it is having issues and causing battery drain by randomly coming on trying to find my position. Not sure if this is from an app I have installed or not. Has anyone that has flashed it had an issue?
Also, I believe I almost have the pull-down toggles merged in. The next update will have them, and possibly fix the GPS issue if I can find where it is. Once that is settled, I'll build for P3110 and P3100 to try and get them working, and finally, build for the P51xx models.
Updated the OP with a new build, change log is in the second post
thanks

I think the only difference between P3110 and P3113 is the IR Blaster, which doesn't work anyway, so I'm thinking that it should work fine, as you found, without any real quirks. I will hopefully be finished with another project I'm working on soon, so I'll be able to put all of my P3113 changes into P3110 and P3100 and build for them then too.
Also, glad to see some more feedback and other people using the ROM. Glad people like it thus far.

At first look this rom is daily driver!
- great free memory 500MB
- stock S3 camera
- tethering - WORKS!
- very smoth!
- xperia keyboard
- all what you need already inside!
more testing to come... :good:finaly JB 4.2.2 MiUi rom that i like!
Looks like a promising miui finally...any chance for multi-lang version?
Edit: i just tested this rom.everything work really good.its nearly perfect for daily use.but there is little problems that keeps me away from this beatiful rom.first thing is there is no multilanguage support.it would be really good to use this rom with our own language.second thing is samsung camera.you can take pictures but camcorder is not working.picture quality is same as google camera applications quality.its too early to talk about battery performance but it seems decent after 1 hour heavy usage(56 minutes screen on time with boeffla kernel %96-%88).
İ cant see any other major problems at all... if you dont mind using a rom with only english support and if you want to use miui rom with good performance you should try this rom immediately.but i still think multilanguage support shouldnt be so hard for a good developer like this roms developer...peace (Y)
direct wifi work or not ???

So if you would add the more & mods customizations, tweaks, mods, fixes according to user's reviews then it would be great & keep on mentioning your new changelogs separately except MIUI official changelogs that what you added, changed or fixed in your rom. Thanx again for this rom.

I can repack this rom with all the iHackers' stuff including all the mods, tweaks, customizations, addons etc. and make an Aroma or Minimal Version of this rom too (Ofcourse if @ZduneX25 allows me to), by the way the iHackers' Addons Pack should work with this rom too. Just remember to replace the kernel in the zip with the one thats supported for this rom and don't use the on screen buttons options as it will replace the build.prop of this rom with iHackers' and everything else would work perfectly fine.
@ZduneX25 IMO It would be great if you and @iHackers work together, Let me know what you think about it.

Best kernel that cover booth rom versions is Googy Max (+ dual boot option). I like the idea to gather devs and make ultimate MiUi rom.
Sorry, but am not going to add aroma installer to break my whole ota updating system (that i care about), any future changes you make in /system partition will disallow you to update my rom.

@mckenji it is not handy at all to add multilang building with patchrom (xiaomi's sources), however we can ask @ingbrzy for help with that and camera is going to be replaced, for now any other app from play store will work

ohh its great idea.... Me also want that iHacker & ZduneX25 should work togethor
Well have some bad news, as long as miuiandroid translates official rom for s3 they cannot make multilang for this one, simply because script will fail if there is two the same devices to translate.
awesome job. so far i did not have any trouble what so ever.
one question.
is there any unread count for Muiu ?

one question for you my friend @nomaj, i've read your tips on how you can get more memory on MIUI. But can you give me the example of apk/process that i don't need? i don't really understand that part...
Herewith find an updated version of my previous rom based on the orignal Aurora 3.1 Note 7 Port.
As previously mentioned, all credit to the developers of the ROM, including all fixes. I am only supplying you with the full package including many fixes for the N910F.
It should be noted that I have made many changes for this ROM to run smoothly on the N910F. It should be fine on other Snapdragon versions. (I cannot test this as I don't have any of the other models). If you do try it and the ROM works on your version, please post this so that others can try it out.
The ROM is based on DPH1.
Kernel is included within the ROM.
You will need TWRP or CWM to flash the rom.
No your phone does NOT need to be rooted to flash the ROM, but after installation your phone will be rooted automatically.
NOT WORKING:
Fingerprint (Hardware not compatible)
AOD still slightly buggy.
Earlier build (V3) included: (ported from N910G)
No SIM card error fixed
No data error fixed
Bluetooth fixed
Tethering fixed
Sound Mod
Latest build (V10) include:
AOD modded. (Display still darkens in bright light when AOD is active)
Added Essential Apps
Added Missing Calculator from original ROM
Fixed S Cover issue (I can't test, let me know if it works)
Stability issues fixed
Neatened up homescreen for clean flash.

As always a clean flash is recommended but a dirty flash should be fine if your'e running an existing Aurora ROM.
NOTE - Due to many changes, installation can take up to 20 minutes - 30 minutes (Samsung Logo), especially on a dirty flash. This is normal.
The handset will also restart once during installation.
Let me know if it works for you and don't forget to press the thanks button.

REV11
Please find updated revision 11 below.
Apologies for not being able to update sooner. Been away on business and will still be away for a few more weeks.
AOD still buggy and fingerprint not working.
A few small updates have been included and kernel updates to rev3.
I tried to include the AOD fix but have unfortunately not had time time to implement.
A few items have been fixed and updated.
If you still find Note 4 Camera, delete folder SamsungCamera3 under system priv-app folder and restart.
Changelog:
Camera Updated to Note 7 Camera
Supersu Updated
Several (most) apps updated to latest version
Kernel Updated
Removed Chinese writing on weather app.
Several stability issues fixed.
Cheers

Flashing now
Flashing on preceding version I'll report back asap.
ps. a workaround working for aod dimming screen in direct sunlight is to install xposed and sensor disabler to fake light sensor to always read a minimum brightness level. so the phone thiks you're in very dark enviroment , that's avoid screeen dimmin also when you're in direct sunlight. tested on previous xrom port
Thanks again for your efforts!!!

How is battery life
Battery life is always difficult to discuss as there are so many things one has to take into account. I myself use my phone extensively, and even then I get around 9 hours out of it. BUT that does not mean you will get the same. SOT (Screen on time) affects it obviously. I myself switch off WiFi, NFC and Bluetooth when I'm not using it. Your battery condition and age will also affect it as many don't want to believe.
Hi dev are u have solved my problem... im using aurora and norma rom for my Galaxy S5 prime.. for Norma everything work is so well... but if i to trying install aurrora rom or base rom.. i always dont have data conection and phone unfortunately forced stop information pop up.. flashing all data fix variant cant help... sorry for my bad english.. i really need to flash this rom hope you have a solution sorry for my bad english.. thx
Flashed clean, some impressions:
Spen magnifier function, open but is not working(no zoom inside zoom box)
AOD still buggy, still lowering screen brightness when unlocking the screen
wallpaper choice works only via gallery not via theme store (if you choice gallery it return back to theme store first page)
more to come...
Anyway, 910f best version, one zip file, one flash and you have all ready to go (apart some minor issues stated above)
Many thanks to the op that is sharing with us this nice piece of rom!

Thanks for this. I travel a lot so I don't get much time to test everything so thank you for this. I will work on the fixes over the next few days.

Thanks again!

Latest build v10? I thought Aurora just released v4 and v10 is Norma. Is this port based on Aurora or Norma, or shifted from Aurora v3 to Norma v10? Confused.

It's ALL INCLUDED. One of the reasons that it is special. Animations very good, no lugs at all in my case. I don't remap controls so I can't say. Overall a great experience even before other distributions of Aurora V3.1.
Fingerprint works!! Follow this tutorial!!
