I had always preferred
CM7 for GB
Devoid for Froyo
anyways just flashed andy's phoenix and got to use it just for a few minutes. Wanna try that too
and up most i am waiting for this 27th to get my phone back, have to do a lot of experimenting and also have to flash SGM

No dude, u cant run GT-S5830 roms on GT-S5830M/i
Check the development section if u want !

Yes the models i,M, and C are compatible. Check for the 'i' model rom developments. Ask there if still not sure about stuff.
