Full Google Play Access Outside the US !! - Samsung Galaxy Mini

I was wondering after the new update of Google Play, how could the users outside the US be benefited from the new Play Store. Well after some search and research I found the way !! There is an app called Market Unlocker Pro in the Store (Its a paid app) which can do the job !! (Only the Paid version will work, the free version wont help). After installing the app, launch it, then enable the option "Enable Unlocker" and then in the Proxy tab, tap on Fetch USA Proxy, then after the data is fetched, enable the option "Enable Proxy". Close the app, clear the play store cache and then launch it. Voila !! Thats it !!
thanks to nishant_713 from galaxy 3 thread

better hook up a Vpn I will never trust any random proxy to take my data and give hackers access to it get a reputated and old vpn

Can't See Any Pay Apps On Market

Yep no pay apps on the market not even if I scan a QR code wont let me see it any ideas on how to fix this...?
Google has not opened the Paid apps market to the whole world but only to a limited number of countries. It's annoying, I know.
If you still would like to see and purchase the paid apps, you must root your phone first and then install the application called Market Enabler and it will make some changes to fool Big G that you're from US on Tmobile networks and eventually open up the app store.
Theres still an other option. Find paid apps through other means, purchase through the developer's own site so they give you an .apk installer for manual installation. This method is the only option left if you don't want to root your phone like me.
Regards,
Carty..
any idea how to use this app I found it after a quick google but can't seam to make it work

"Long Press" the provider you want to fake. Make sure you have the latest beta version from the developers googlecode home page.

[A] Qik for P1010 Galaxy Tab WIFI

so if anyone has picked up the P1010, you'l notice that thei Qik app just says "service will be available soon" when you click on it. Also, Qik will not show up in the market.
I got around this by rooting, getting Market Enabler and setting it to Verizon. You can then find Qik in the Market. Setting it to T-mo gives a different version which didn't work. Just FYI for the wifi owners who wanted Qik running.
Also for the registration signup, you can just use any cell # that you have access to for SMS to "confirm" and it will still go through your GT.

awsome dude thanks i have been looking for a work around. i dont understand why they even put it on there if it doesnt work for the p1010...samsung is really lacking support for the p1010 . but i guess thats why we have ROOT access and this wonderful site full of users like u and i .thanks again
PS...where can i find the ""Market Enabler"" i am guessing on the web sites like 4shared (site where i find all apps free and 3rd party )
OPENED my eyes and....
so i looked on the market place for this app and found it by typing "market enabler" (there are 2 apps by this name the choice is urs)
App description
Market Enabler lets you access paid apps in Android Market
For some apps are just enabled for some specific country and not available to the other countries,so it is very difficult to download many high quality software.Market Enable lets you access paid apps from countries where paid apps are not yet available.
This application need Rooted phone!
It is not permanent, will be original after reboot or flight mode!(so if you want to back to default market, just reboot or reset flight mode)
Thanks MarketEnabler and Market Enabler Codes.

Google music outside the US, now even easier!

With all the negativity about google music not being available in the UK, or outside the US in general, i figured this may be good news for some here.
I'm not sure if this has been covered before or not so here goes.
I basically found a way to get the google music service working in the UK, no fake google accounts, settings to change or anything like that is needed here at all.
If you just try and go to music.google.com from outside the US you normally get a message saying it's unavailable so here i tell you how to get around this for quick and easy access to the ability to store 20000 songs for free.
1. Go to www.unblock-us.com and sign up for a free 7 day trial by giving them your email address. This site is great for also accessing other US content such as US netflix and all sorts of other things outside the US (I actually subscribe to this service as i think it's brilliant, others may not want to do so).
2. Update your DNS settings on your computer/laptop/router as per the guides on the above site.
3. Once up and running on the Unblock-US DNS, fire up your favourite browser and go to music.google.com and sign in. NOTE you will no longer get the message saying it's for users in the US only.
4. Set up Google music, download the music manager to your computer and start uploading music.
5. You can now remove the Unblock-US DNS settings and go back to using your normal settings. Your Google account will still work even if using a non US internet connection and you will be able to access the Google music site from any computer.
6. Enjoy Google music anywhere, on any connection.
Please hit the thanks button if this helps.
Rik.
You can also use the TOR browser, keep refreshing until you have a US based proxy then just navigate to Google music and register your account. Once you've registered you can use Google music anywhere (normal browser, android app, etc)

You can do all of that using way simpler methods via Hotspot Shield or a web based proxy (e.g. hidemyass.com).
I'm pretty sure this subject has been covered before here on XDA, but thanks anyway. :good:
Had access for a while, been able to do this since the day it launched. I even managed to get some of the free music.
As someone who occasionally buys music (I know some must think I'm mad to pay for it) I'd like the option of being able to use the store. Its no problem though i just buy elsewhere and let my PC add it.

I'd probably see if tunlr.net works first.. no point in paying for something you can get free.
I wish google would start rolling out some of this stuff.. they put all these features into jelly bean then when you run the OS you get the same old..
I used tunnelbear a few weeks back. Was a painless installation, adequate speeds since I just had to accept the google music terms and conditions, painless removal from my computer and I was up and running with google music in 5 minutes or less.
when I was signing up I just used a SSH tunnel to a (virtual)server I rent in the US worked fine.
I would also like the ability to be able to actually purchase music from the google store, my music collection is in dire need of an update.
Is it also possible to get google magazines and google books working?
Google music is up and running at my phone for about 5 months now.
Market Unlocker is the easiest in my opinion. Pro version fetches proxy automatically and all you have to do is turn it on.

I also used TunnelBear. Really easy and quick to setup. I had tried the Tor browser before but didn't have any joy. So I recommend TunnelBear.

Yes, +1 for tunnel bear. Tor browser only ever set my location to anonymous proxy. Funnily enough Google wasn't fooled!

The apps themselves work, but whenever I try to make purchases, it tells me that I need a US credit/debit card
But I have been trying to get hold of some prepaid voucher american/canadian visas in order to counter this, but there don't seem to be any available to buy online.
So if any Americans fancy going to a local store for me and buying a couple, please do (will pay obviously...:cyclops

is there a chance that once Google Music comes to the UK, users who used this work around could be affected from not using the UK service?

I bought some music the other day with my Aussie credit card. I set a US address (hint: look up real estate sites for a genuine address ) and set this as my default shipping and billing address. You have to do this in http://wallet.google.com prior to logging on to http://music.google.com. Remember to reset this for your regular purchases through the Play Store.
I've had Google Music in Canada for months now. Used super hide ip and signed up.
I'm unsure if it's harder to sign up now then it was when I signed up.

Music uploaded not showing on tablet
Hi guys
I have a problem with this process. I used Tunnel Bear and i was able to install Music Manager without a glitch. As i type this my music library is uploading at a steady rate. I live in Spain (where the Nexus is available since just a couple of days, although no music service so far) but bought the Nexus 7 trough a friend in Canada a few weeks ago (could not wait, ha). The Google Music app is, therefore, preinstalled, but my music so far is not showing at all. There`s only a message to use USB to transfer music locally. I did try to sideload the app, but it did not make any difference. Same result rebooting the tablet. Nothing showing. So far i have about 100+ songs uploaded, but there`s nothing to show for in my tablet. Surely i`m doing something wrong?

Got the exact same problem! Not working on nexus 7 with preinstalled music.app but its working on my galaxy s2 using the music.apk provided by xda!
Any solutions? Would be great to be able to use the app on nexus 7!
Just picked up my Nexus 7 today on launch day in Holland and will definitely be trying any of the aforementioned options.
Thanks so much for the valuable info.

Have you both tried clearing the app data in settings? That should fix it
BTW, +1 for tunnel bear. I was trying for over an hour using various proxys, none worked. This did it in 2 mins. Got over 2 thousand songs on now, not even a 1/3 of the way through......

[Q]How to install app from diferent marketplace.

Hi,
Few days ago I bought a new device and i`m looking for another music player. In this forum found "Windows beta Music player" http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2105560 and downloaded app in to sd card. Unfortunately when I try to install my device show message that this app isn`t available in my market (btw. I think its wrogn idea when i install app from sdcard I must connect to marketplace, but it`s about money). I read solusions for that problem (change/create LiveID in US market, reset phone), one solusion is to enable this app in other markets by author. Is there any other option ? Can it be add by the app author (mcosmin222) into my local app store?

If you get a Developer Subscription you can setup up to 3 phones for development, and install any xap now I think there is a promo for $19
PM him, maybe he'll add you, maybe not. But even with a dev account you won't be able to install it since it's from the marketplace and encrypted.

If the app you want is free & available for your phone in Marketplace, just not in your region all you need to do is to change region in your phone setting and restart your phone. This is how I got Netflix, Crackle, BBC iPlayer, and Hulu in Poland where those services and apps are not available officially at all.
If app is not free... it might be more difficult as your CC is register in different country.
Since I never needed paid apps from US or UK, cant help you with that - sorry.

I can confirm. If the app is free (as it is), changing region and restarting is enough.

Play store region unlock?

Hello,
I'm looking for a way to unlock my Play Store which is currently locked to Sweden. I hate seeing swedish apps popping up everywhere.
I googled and found some VPN solutions that people report might not work.
Is there a hacked Play Store I could download somewhere and use?
It is tied to your Google account. I wanted some Korean apps so I had to change my address to one there, give a Korean cell number, and wipe data for the play store app.
Maybe you need to do the reverse?
Damn I was hoping that there was an easier solution like a hacked Play Store. I'll see if I can find some 3rd party store apps, better than nothing.

yeah as far as I know hacking the app wouldn't help - the restrictions are based on your address in Google Payments.
hello you can try yelp store. give it a try. its not the play store but guess its better that no solution at all.
How about Amazon. Is that region restricted? Amazon has lots of apps on it.
