5-i prefer bigger icon of start menu (but there is a cab)

Hi all,
after working hard for so many weeks and the last days spent in testing this release, it's now time to share with the Jade community here @ XDA my own new ROM based on WM6.5 Pro. In my opinion it seems to be stable and fast, a good balance between new look, performance, stability and new HTC stuff.
This ROM is based on the final & official WM6.5 Pro build 21889, WWE 0409 localization and you can choose between two versions, the Lite and the Standard ones.
Because of I really like iContact, I had also include this iPhone looks like MS contact replacement, you can choose to use it or not.

How to install
You need Touch 3G Hard-SPL (HardSPLV5.2 now) for this ROM. Your Tricolor bootloader screen have to show 2.xx.olinex, to check it switch off jade; press volume down key and power key to go to bootloader. For more info Jade / Touch 3G Hard-SPL

The CHome Graphical User Interface
In this Jade ROM I decided to use CHome aka Titanium WM6.5 native GUI instead of HTC TouchFlo 2D "Manila 2D".
To implement the main functions directly from the Home I also used 5 plugins found here @ XDA written by other great guys...
I just applied some bug-fixes & new implementations, some graphical layout adjustments and finally cooked them into the ROM.

HTC SoundSetting works, but sometimes it doesn't refresh the page after a setting was changed
Using HTC SoundSetting you can't set the profile to "Automatic". Only "Normal", "Vibrate" and "Silent" work
Auto backlight adjust may have some problem due to the new HTC Power from Leo
Sometimes Hero Clock stucks, this is related to the weather auto-update feature. Your Jade needs a soft-reset to have the clock back to work
Sometimes Hero Clock starts flashing & zooming. To fix it touch the bottom-right label "Setup/Options" and choose "Reload plugin".
CHome in landscape mode needs some text aligment adjustment

in settings-connections tab icons retiavanzate and usbtopc not work, then l 'option uses advanced networks, and clear and not activesync does not recognize the phone, defect problem
misteriosamente dopo alcuni softreset hanno funzionato

grazie per aver provato la ROM e per il feedback.
Ciò che hai riscontrato è veramente strano, non saprei cosa dirti sinceramente se non che non ho mai avuto tali problemi e neppure segnalazioni in merito.
Se ti risuccede fammelo sapere che investighiamo ancora.

aggiungo che durante la personalizzazione delle impostazione della rom il telefono mi si è impallato 4 volte.
l' orologio della home a volte sfarfalla ingrandendosi all' improvviso.
il tab delle immagini nella home non visualizza le foto anche se cliccandoci sopra indirizzi l' album sulla cartella delle foto e la setti come cartella di default, nel meteo le vovi non sono tradotte.
però non ti scoraggiare anche se la rom forse non è ancora pronta per essere utilizzata sul telefono principale va comunque coltivata, 1 perchè ci sono poche rom per il jade e 2 perchè e la prima rom italiana.
qualche tester in + forza
parere personale sarà anche il futuro ma a me la nuova interfaccia non piace è confusionaria in uno schermo piccolo credo sia stata studiata per schermi + grandi

Dunque:
- Ti si è impallato 4 volte durante il primo boot ??!!! Ma dai, non so proprio perchè, a me fila tutto liscio. Hai provato tanto per curiosità a rifleshiarlo nuovamente ? Tanto per capire se te lo fa sempre...
- L' orologio sfarfalla anche a me ma, solo alcune volte boh... il plugin non l'ho scritto io l'ho preso qui su XDA. Quando capita, basta andare nel menù opzioni e scegliere "Ricarica plugin". Io ho solo tradotto quello che si poteva e migliorato alcuni aspetti grafici. La previsione del tempo è Accuweather a non indicarla più in italiano e per tradurle bisognerebbe sapere bene tutti i valori possibili. Magari ci provero' in una futura versione.
- Il tab immagini è puro Microsoft e non so che dirti a me fa vedere tutte le immagini presenti nella DCIM su SD o quelle in My Documents\Immagini (sia su SD che sulla memoria interna). Purtroppo non ci posso fare nulla !!
- Circa l' interfaccia, puoi trovarmi d'accordo ma, sinceramente dopo due anni di utilizzo del glorioso Manila 2D, ora mi sono rotto ed in attesa della release finale di WM6.5 e dei nuovi packages HTC voglio provare ad usare Titanium. Giusto per provare il nuovo look di WM6.5, sai anche la nuova versione di Manila è come un vecchio vino in una bottiglia nuova.
- Per certo la ROM è migliorabile, io non sono ancora un "espertone" ma non mi lamento visto il primo risultato e poi come dici tu c'è bisogno di altri italiani che vogliano provarla. Ma sai mi sono fatto l' idea che senza Manila tutti la snobbino a favore anche di una ROM WWE. Who cares !!!!!
Comunque sia... boia chi molla !!! Tranquillo, compatibilmente con i miei impegni cercherò di portare avanti il progetto.

Ok, forse mi sono spiegato male anche io, a me le immagini le fa vedere nella home come "campione" e se scrolli a destra o a sinistra le fa vedere tutte ma solo quelle presenti nelle cartelle che ti ho indicato prima. A te cosa dice in Home... "Nessuna foto" con l'icona grigia ??
Per la traduzione del meteo grazie mille per il suggerimento, chiaramente l' orologio "Hero like" non usa la dll ma la posso usare per ricavare tutti i valoti. Ottimo !!!
Circa il fatto che si è impallato, proverò a stressarlo un pò pure io per vedere come si comporta, comunque fino ad ora dopo alcuni giorni mai successo.

This ROM needs some fixes & optimizations for sure, I'm working on it but anyway it seems to be a good starting point.
Unfortunately I can't make a French version for you right now, really sorry for that
Cook & Fix a ROM is very time consuming and now I'm focus on the Italian one, maybe in the next future a French ROM will come.

Ed è possibile he non si riesca a rendere trasparente la barra sopra delle icone e sotto dei contatti in modo da avere lo sfondo a schermo intero?

Come e cosa posso disattivare da questa rom per evitare di avere in esecuzione programmi che non userei (es. TF3d) ? Basterebbe deselezionare dal today la voce di TF3d ?
Vorrei usare un programmino per le missed call, sms etc... ho provato "rereminder", ma non mi avverte...devo metterlo in esecuzione automatica o cosa ?

… I have tried time ago SPBShell v3.5 and me it is piaciuta a lot like interface… much more of the TF3d…
1. You would install on this rom?
2. How and what I can disattivare from this rom in order to avoid of having in execution programs that I would not use (es. TF3d)? It would be enough to deselezionare from today the voice of TF3d?
3. I would want to use program for the missed call, sms etc… I have tried " rereminder" , but it does not perceive to me… I must put it in automatic execution or what?
4. Magic 8 ball, you have made us me to become attached and now it does not turn more… you have some link of an apt version to this rom?

Just rename the .nbh file "BLACIMG.nbh" and put it in the root of your SD card. Shutdown your phone (no soft-reset) and then start in bootloader mode (Power button + Vol Down).
If your card is not a Transcend or a Kingston, it should recognize the image automatically and start the flash.

Inanzitutto grazie per la tua rom e per i tuoi sforzi.
Dopo un primo test ho notato qualche piccolo baco, che però non compromettono in alcun modo l'utilizzo del telefono:
1) nelle impostazioni ci sono alcuni doppi collegamenti ("sistema -> informazioni dispositivo" e "connessioni -> USB a pc")
2) il programma di configurazione automatica delle connessioni per l'operatore non si avvia
3) quando arriva un sms o c'è una notifica di qualsiasi tipo non compare il testo del messaggio con il sense attivato (non ho provato senza). Compare la finestra bianca ma all'interno non c'è scritto nulla.

First of all thanks for your rom and your efforts.
After a first test I noticed some small bugs, but do not compromise in any way the use of the telephone:
1) in the settings menu there are some double links ("system -> device information" and "Connections -> USB to PC")
2) the program that automatically configure connections with operator fails to start
3) when there comes a text message or a notification of any kind do not see the text of the message with sense active (I have not tried without). Window appears, but inside there is nothing written.

dopo aver acceso il dispositivo effettuo una chiamata e mi compare correttamente il nome del contatto che chiamo; alle chiamate successive compare sempre il nome e il numero del primo contatto chiamato dall'accensione anche se il telefono chiama la persona corretta

Very good work, no bug found in 1 day, for next release i suggest you a ROM wih includes the FM Radio patched to work without headphones too (very usefull) and a good Registry editor, Opera 10 with flash support and TorchButton
