UD Launcher

UD Launcher from the Ultimate Droid rom by Blackdroid.
Posting the Launcher separately for those who like to use it.
This patch will remove any launcher installed [ADW, Stock] and replace it with UD Launcher.

woah thanks - you know I'll give it a go as soon as my stolen phones gets replaced

I really like this, it's basically the stock launcher with extra options for customization. I just wish I could change the number of home screens, then it would be pretty much perfect.

x2 on the # of screens. Also would like to change icon from browser to messages with stock froyo pic

There was a guy in this subforum that changed the browser to mms for the stock launcher. He helped me change it for my d2, ill post up his notes if wanted.

just try it on your own.. if it doesnt work, it wont work. then just uninstall it.
its not going to brick your phone or anything, go ahead and adventure yourself

well tried it with the 2.3.4 update. FC loop on launcher trying to go back now

still loving it - actually hope to see is come back to nscollab at some point.

Transitions

Hey guys.. I just have a question about transitions. I'm on apex 7.2 and I was wondering how I can get custom transitions animations. My friend has the screens rotating in a circle and I thought that was pretty cool. Any help would be great... Thanks

which launcher was he using?

Oh I don't know.. I'll ask.. The transitions in the settings were also like that though.. I'm using touchwiz 4.5.. Is it possible with this launcher?

If u use ADW launcher you will have 6-8 different type of transitions. One of them is circular. As of now this isnt possible in Tw4.5

Go Launcher Ex
I think it was Go Launcher Ex chariot transition.

launcherpro has the same effect also

[APP] Iida launcher

Hi all, I found this nice launcher there : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1234175.
It isn't fully working and I would like to now if someone is interested in making it functional.
I actually test it, I though I could keep it even if not completely functional but hum... after rebooting the launcher disappears (I saw only status bar and wallpaper) and all I could do is reflash rom into recovery.

Search a bit i posted it a while back as a flashable zip in the o3d forums. It installs in system so it is persitent which means it survives rebbots and can be set as default. . It is also working for OB tested in my gf's OB. You can find it here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1394204

if you want to have even more features of it working and some extra widgets search for iida in the x10 forums. My post is taken directly from there and they have sollutions on how to make more things work.

[Q] Stock grass live wallpaper ICS

Hey guys is there anyone who successfully ported stock gingerbread grass live wallpaper to ICS ROMs? I've been searching everywhere but can't find it... I tried doing it myself without any success. I know there's beautiful Widgets one but it eats a lot of CPU and battery... please anyone? It'd be much appreciated.

ADW updated!!!!

Just what the title says. IMO its smoother then Apex and Nova. I really haven't had time to play with it but so far so good. Wish this update was available when I was stuck on HC.

I use GO EX, on my SGS3 and Pad 7.7, perfect :good:

We had to wait a long long time for getting an update.....
But at least it was worth the waiting.

Had to fix screen size and some other settings after new update. It was a pain, don't really notice anything new while running on stock ICS

After playing with it a bit I stuck with Apex. I think this is a bigger draw to HC and GB devices.

Was quite happy using adw ex launcher. There is a bug though. When u add a folder on the home screen, initially you could edit the folder to change the icon or rename the folder. It doesn't work anymore. Any idea people.

Double tap on icons/folders to get the edit/remove options.

No longer able to use the launcher actions along with minimalist text, I used this set up to switch between screens. Have emailed the dev and still waiting on an answer.

Ok it seems to be working now. All I did was turn off my tab overnight and everything is back to normal

THIS. Been using Go Ex Launcher for several years on many different Android devices & it's been amazing, very customizable & easy to use.
After trying EVERY other launcher including paid ones, none come close to Go EX...
