im close to buying the sensation xl but i have a few questions please:
is there a difference between the sensation X315e XL and the sensation LITE XL?
ive read that there are fake sensation XLs, how close can they come to the original and how do i know if i have one? could i check the serial on the phone with HTC or use a firmware to check it?

Its Unique for XE and XL.
Also See for the build quality. Nothing can beat the original HTC build.
Also trying using some information tools to check whether the Hardware are the same.

The fake ones are nothing like the real ones. They look real and thats it. They use diffrent hardware and have a diffrent bootloader. They are not compatible with any Sensation.XL official rom or custom roms.

i have a sensation xe just now but not sure if i should get a sensation xl as I do love the physical dimensions and design of the phone,
just a bit annoyed its not dual core,
can anyone convince me?
I'm also into a 4.7" phone, but I advise you to wait for MWC and the day before (next sunday), when HTC will present its new devices, namely HTC One S (4.3") and HTC One X (4.7"). Check this thread for a lot of detailed info on the phones.
I would advise you sticking with the XE until the Endeavour comes out.... As there is many more dev's for the XE... Just my opinion

SXL community is not big. We have 2-3 stable roms at all. There are no countless roms. Just try them yourself.

i am in china now a days...i found a sensation xl running ics and having card slot,,,and 16 gb card is working fine in that...........
i searched alot but i could not find that kind of model....is that possible???

but i just searched some chinese sites.. i found this strange specs device named as htc g21/sensation xl.

As far as i know sky go doesnt support htc sensation xl,only way to watch sky sports is using xmbc on ur device, u can search there is a thread abt it in the xda.

Some pages on internet are offering Upgrade/Update HTC Sensation XL to 6.0 Marshmallow... but i dont trust them seems like a lie. what do u say about it ? any new room for our precious HTC Sensation XL x315e ?
