I switch on my P7300 Tethering to share my 3G network, my S3 connected. However, my S3 not able to get on the Internet.
but my P7300 3G is working just fine on Internet access.
Anyone know why & howto fix it ?
Try foxfi in the market, it's free.
I tried. This app simply call the native Tether from Tab, no it is not working.
I also tried Baracle and Wireless Tether for root users, they only works for ipad/iphone. My S3 come not even search it.
anyone get it working ?

Is anyone getting pandora working on wifi, trying to tether from my evo to the tab but app wont load??

I am having problems with Pandora. It loads fine but is stay at the home screen ( the one with Pandora logo ) , and does nothing else. On my Nexus One I would generally have a error message saying that it was not supported in my country and I bypassed the problem using Orbot. But on the SGT nothing.
Any thoughts ?

I don't even find Pandora in the Android Market. Why is that?

Ok, I see there is a license issue for users outside U.S. Guess that is that is cause.
Foxfi is a great program where you can use wifi tethering without root. I have used it before on other devices but with the Atrix HD when I open it and another computer connects to my Wifi signal then the phone reboots.
I have read on another website that 2 other people are having the same problem and was wondering if anyone else is. I sent an email to the developer of Foxfi but haven't received a response.
Just wondering if anyone knows of a way to get this program working without it causing a reboot or if there is another program that works just as well?
No problems here. Why not use the native hotspot functionality. It works very well.

How do you use the native hotspot functionality? Will AT&T detect I'm using the tethering, if I use the native hotspot?

I'll have to give that a try. Have to use a tethering app until this device gets rooted. My 3gb data plan doesn't include mobile hotspot.
I still am wondering if anyone else is having problems with the phone rebooting while using foxfi?
Thanx

I tried foxfi and it also rebooted. when I turn on the native hotspot, it immediately turns it off and stated my plan does not include tethering.
Anyone tried using bluetooth tethering using Foxfi? I would like to use my iPad tethered through Atrix HD. However, if bluetooth tethering is not gonna work, I don't want to jailbreak my iPad.

Hey.
I know that you can tether 2G, 3G networks etc and have your galaxy gear running off of that from your mobile phone, but can you have your galaxy gear running off of your wifi at home via your mobile phone as well?
Thing is, I currently don't have any data plans and won't be getting one in awhile so without internet on my galaxy gear, I pretty much lose a ton of functionality.
Thanks for any advice.
International stock rom on phone allows this. Most carrier roms do not

Third party app. Open Garden also allows wifi tethering. Good option for non touchwiz devices or one's that don't support BT PAN.

I've tried every tether app I've found and so far the only thing that works is fqrouter 2, but it's not the most stable connection.
I've tried the TrevE mod, but I can only get it to connect using Auto. Setting it to anything else doesn't seem to do anything.
It was easy on my Hero and Evo 3D, just can't seem to get it to work on my One.
I'm rooted/s-off using stock 3.05.651.6.
Any ideas?

Is there any straight tweak that will do the trick? Right now I am using Wifi Tether adhoc to my laptop, (only mode I can get to work), and a cable from my laptop to my PS3. It works, but still isn't totally stable. My laptop and phone lose connection often. Not sure why.
fqrouter 2 barely stays connected. Shouldn't there be another app or a tweak I can apply that would work better, more effectively?
