Hi Guys,
When i changed the housing of my x1 i noticed afterwards using the camera, that it starts normal but in a second or so the screen is full of colours and flickering. I thougt that maybe the bcamera lens module was affected and therefore i am searching for a new one, but it is hard to find! Has anyone a solution for me?
Thanks, mafri

Hi,
today I saw a black spot on my images from camera and also on my videos. It seems like I have a dust on the image sensor. Does anyone know is it easy to clean this? I disassembled the phone following a guide in YouTube but then I have no idea where the sensor is. So I just blew randomly around the camera with a "blower bulb" but no change. I also tried a few hits But that didn't help either.
I refer to the back camera.
Hello all,
First time poster. But I had converted my AT&T HTC One to the Google Edition HTC one following the thread on this forum.
I am currently experiencing an issue with the camera where in low light situations, I seem to see some sort of ridges in the image (see image). These ridges look like smears on the camera lens, but when I wipe the lens with a microfiber, nothing changes. So it's something with how the software is reading the exposure inside of the lens.
But when I use a flash with these ridges on the screen, the image develops normally. So it is an issue associated with low light exposure.
This issue has been ongoing for several weeks now, and I still haven't found a viable solution.
I was wondering if anyone had a fix for this, or an idea as to how I can trouble shoot it. Thanks a bunch!

There's a thread here about the camera low light problems/strange wavy pattern problem, as well as other camera low light problems here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2317507
Only way so far (as this particular issue is a hardware fault (as are most)) is to get a replacement camera module fitted under warranty in a service center.
Hello! I had Galaxy Camera EK-GC100 laying around with broken camera lens (it was hit a little bit and the zoom didn't work at all and all I was getting was Camera Error when launching the app) so I decided to fix it. Bought camera lens replaced mine (I used old/mine color thingy that goes on top of the lens), put everything together and now it doesn't catch focus
HECK! I bought second new lens! And the problem didn't fix!
When I'm not using any zoom the image is extremely blurry but the moment I zoom at least 5x it becomes crystal clear!
What have I done wrong? Is there any camera calibration to do? I tried Factory Reset on the device already and using the expert doesn't work either. Here's some examples of how it looks:
Same here. Has anyone solved this problem?

If you can confirm this issue is not exclusive to Sony's stock camera, then it sounds like your camera is going bad. Get the camera module replaced by buying the part from eBay.

Umm...by cleaning it?
Is it inside the lens? If so, you have to tear-down your phone to get to the camera, then clean the glass.
Hey there, I got this weird issue regarding x526 front camera as it's not always working. After pressing button to switch to the front camera the camera app will freeze for some time and then will display info "cannot connect to the camera". The only way to fix it is to clean dalvik / cache, but its only temporary solution.
I have tried various ROMs from 6.0 to 9.0 and different camera apps, but in all these ROMs either front camera won't work from the start or will stop working after brief usage.
Any ideas how to fix this issue? Any help will be appreciated.
Dirt in front camera
A little update to my first post. I have noticed A lot of dust in the front camera lenses. It looks like someone was trying (unsuccessfully) to fix that camera, probably from the store. I have bought this phone from Bangood. Was anyone of you in a similar position as me? I contacted Bangood and told them I want them to resend a fully working phone. Still waiting for their reply.
