Hello everyone! I would like to install a rom in my x8 but, having no time to test all the roms, and I would like one that is stable, fast, best play and long battery life.
I saw the topic of rom these five that look very interesting:
- Gingercrutz
- GingerDX
- GingerXperia
- Kuyadroid
- MiniCM7
I have read and reread the various topics of the rom, but they seem to be similar, and I do not know which one to choose between these five.
Among these five who do you recommend? I want a rom that once installed does not have to always update.
Sorry for my English.

Its all up to you which rom you like the most, there is no better rom all roms are good, so its up to decide which rom you like....just try them and see its only 15 minutes to install......
P.S. I like GC7.4 the mmost but its only me

GingerCruzt! Faster than GDX, good battery performance, Xperia look, nice for games!
BTW all those ROMs are stable.

Yes they should....developer of this rom is.busy but when he get some time we will have new version... If you asking me this version is so perfect that it dont need any update....

true but why It usually lags when playing accelerometer games for example abduction 2 ?

I have found a fix for GingerDX. It works with GingerCrutz ?

Active's 2.3 rom on the xperia x8?

Hey guys. I would like to know if it's possoble to get the new 2.3 rom from the active on our phone. Because i like stock sony ericsson but for the x8 there's just 2.1...

[Q] Lockscreen text remaining from Froyobread (Doixanh)

Hi, ever since I upgraded from Doixanh's Froyobread to GingerDX , there has been a text bothering me in the lockscreen. I remember editing the lockscreen text in Froyobread settings but it seems to have disappeared in GingerDX. Yes I know I could flash froyobread and then back , but would all my kernel and custom rom settings e.t.c be saved ? So my question is, how do I remove these?
Any help would be VERY greatly appreciated....
I'm kinda a noob, but I know a lil' bit..
I have alfs Kernel v08.

Yep i would like to know it also, if you are trying to delete text in bottom of lockscreen dont ask it there have a respect to developer coz its his personal rom

The "copyright branding" is compiled into the framework (but that's no secret at all). While it's possible to remove it from the fully built ROM it's not easy, and I don't think anyone will tell you as it's there for a reason.

you changed your rom without erasing the data?

Hi everyone, I meant no disrespect to Doixanh, I love his work, but what I meant was, I had set a custom lockscreen message in froyobread. I was afraid that I might lose important things when uprgrading from froyobread>gingerdx

Yes I did, since I figures that since it is made by the same developer, it wouldn't make any difference. and it didn't, aside from this.

Xperia x8 roms

Can somebody give me some good roms whic I can install on my Xperia x8 without unlocking bootloader?
I allredy have GingerXperia 2.3.7 and i want android version higher than 3.0.

GingerCruzt, XGIN and GDX is really worth a try for stock.

U can try kuyadroid 4.5.4. It's very stable and fast.
Orignal gingerbred look and awesome performance.
I already tried gingerdx ang gingerxperia, but i like it most because it is simple and fast.

X8 rom suggestion

İ am using ginger dx shakira last version i heard new version come out but i have no idea about it. can you suggest me new rom. I like that rom it has multitouch and overclock cpu and so on .so it is super but it is ressetting nowadays i should format the rom so i want to tray new rom which has same features like last version of ginger dx

every rom is good.. download and try yourself because everyone has different tastes.. you might like what other might not like or the vice versa..so no body can suggest you actually..
