This updates should have come in the same time with the 2x but I have serious doubts now. We got no leaked update, we got nothing to make us think that lg is working on this device
ya we got no leaks, that was the biggest issue, eventhough leaks shouldnt happen, but they always do, see other devices
In Slovenia is confirmed ICS update for LG prada 3.0 next week but also confirmed version v20s for optimus 2x,so no ICS for O2X till end of year.
May be i guess LG declared as prada followed by 2x followed by 3d.
May be I could be wrong. But they will provide for sure

Did they actually say 2.3.3? because ive heard that 2.3.x is for the Nexus phones only and 2.4 is for everything else?

Yeah thats in custom ROM's as these are always ported but official updates to gingerbread on phones other than the Nexus's will be 2.4..... hit up the link http://www.androidcentral.com/android-23-reserved-nexus-s-android-24-also-gingerbread

Lol. We probably are not gonna see that! Just think about it, it took lg almost one year to adopt to gb, so eta for ics will be launche-date plus approx 1y... just saying....

I wouldnt bet on that... lg never fail to disappoint, imo, I'd just rely on the assortment of custom roms we have here in the forums

One thing they are good at is getting source out quickly.

If you want GB root your phone, install either CyanogenMod either one of the 20e leak modded ROMS and you've got it!
The only interest of official GB is official GB Sources to enable our great community devs to cook better ROMs !!!

I really want to believe to be true.
Maybe I'm naive.
That the LG Optimus 2X is going to get Ice Cream Sandwich eventually is something that we know already. After all, the company itself made the announcement of an upcoming ICS update quite a while ago. However, we didn't have much information as to when the said update was going to be released... until today.
As stated by LG Mobile Singapore on Facebook, the LG Optimus 2X Android 4.0 update will start rolling out in Q3 of this year. In other words, there will be no Ice Cream Sandwich for LG Optimus 2X owners for at least another one and a half to three and a half months. Or at least not for those located in Singapore and the surrounding markets.
So there you go, folks: more evidence confirming that Android 4.0 updates can be painfully slow.

You do, you just haven't got it yet. It creeps up randomly. There are people who report 30+ hours of calling without any problems and suddenly the bug turns up. The CM10 ROM uses SU660 sources and the SU660's hardware structure is a bit different from the P990's, which leads to the mic just randomly shutting off at times.

This. Took about two weeks before I noticed I had it. Then I had to make a few important calls from work so I had to go back to GB.
