Fastest, lightweight ROM - Samsung Galaxy Mini

What is the fastest ROM for the Galaxy Mini?
I am currently using LilG by Squadzone but he seems to have went AWOL and I can't get updates so what is the smoothest fastest ROM with good battery life that is still continued and updated?
I don't really care about features I only really need it to text and play music now.

Why dont u try gingermod 3.0. Just installed it and its snappy fast and smooth. It has stock tw 3.0 launcher and has many settings to play around. It uses stock base i think.

Can u send me the link to that rom

Personally, i would go for CyanogenMod 7 (official or unofficial, your choice), and slam V6 SuperCharger by zeppelinrox script on it - the fastest setup i used.

Minimod x final

offical cyanomod 7
offical cyanomod 7 is best

Adrenaline™ ROM

in my opinion cm is best custom rom ever i have many tweaks and add ons best part is you can apply themes
yup.
IMO, CM7 is the best out there.
If you want the latest version you should flash Cyano 7.2
But if you want better sound Cyano Music edition rulez
And if you want a really smooth rom, use emanoN v3
Best one is cm7 by squadzone.
But you can try cm9
Sent from my GT-S5570 using xda premium
my choice is CM7 music edition 1.1, its the fastest and most beautiful i came across. gives a feel of icecream sandwich

I've tried them both and even though Slim has some nice features I'd go with cm9 nightlies because it's an easier to use software straight out of the box in my opinion. And right now they're updating them every couple days that I found stability to be fantastic already, not to mention the great battery life.
Yeah i thing slim 3.3 is goox too but there to many ICS roms.

On my personal experience, where in i have used Teamhacksung, CM9, Onecosmics and now iam on Elite ICS 10.1.
The best is Elite "http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1575683"
with Midnight Hugemem kernel (BM Kernel MNICS-143LR),
which is provided with the rom in the "Actualizador" app the ROM provides,
plus flash this script "http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=24723427&postcount=513" for getting the 720p recording to work.
Trust me, really good combination of ROM and Kernel, Very smooth and stable.
And About Slim, it lacks many things, which if u used any other ICS rom yu would know, and CM( is very unstable as for now, but sometime later is gonna be the best one for sure.
Try AOKP official. It's nice.

Yes aokp official best one.

[Quick Question!] Stablest ROM for the Galaxy Ace?

Hey guys, need a quick answer!
My friend handed over his Galaxy Ace to me for a day and wants a nice and FAST ROM. Could you please help me specifying the ROM which is the stablest and the fastest as well. Waiting for your quick reply! I'm heading from the galaxy nexus forums so I have no idea.
[ROM] [04.05.12] CyanogenMod7.2 RC1 by vo-1 MIRACLE Edition V4 [...SIMPLY THE BEST!]
This is a real good rom. I use it for a week now and its stable, and fast. My ace run games, that were lagging before. I hope you like it too!

if u r looking for CM roms, go for miracle v4
if u r looking for a stock rom.. go for Imaginary ICS, stock lite
Miracle v4 edition is simple the best

I tried miracle v4 and i found it to be very empty (stock app wise), i am using revenge sunday rc1.1 and it's working just great, everything is smooth and stable, i dont play games often so i cant tell about it.

Stocklite V6 or Miracle V4. Can't find anything for the ace better than those two.
Sent from my Super Galaxy Ace using XDA.
If you want the most stable ROM, you should stick with stock ROM. As far as I try, it has significant less FC than other ROMs.
Sent from my GT-S5830 using XDA
I think Sedan Class V2.5 is Stablest ROM for the Galaxy Ace
Been using miracle v4 for weeks.
Although it is a little bit too barebone at first, but you can just install what you want later on.
And it is the fastest rom i've ever use. Stuff like random reboot doesn't happened. However, I don't find it as the best rom when it comes to battery life.

Hey guys, I'm sadly a newbie to xda , but I was wondering if you guys could help me out. Basically, I'm in need of a VERY FAST ROM thats preferably either CM9 or CM10, CM7.2 is okay as well but no stock roms please! I send a lot of text messages daily and I'm heavily integrated with social networking so I need a fast rom, also a VERY GOOD BATTERY LIFE!
Thank you!

If u are a heavy internet user then go for <CM7.2 > It has great performance as well as battery life..
According to me don't go for <CM9> its oudated n not updated from a long time..its great though..
I would prefer <CM10.1> (4.2.1)..It has great performance ..n battery life depends on your usage..
For more info PM me..
Edit: Check here (http://www.facebook.com/pages/Xperiencecyanogen/395619180456847) Two great roms are released by Xperiance.Cyanogen..
If you want speed and battery life, don't go for cm9 or cm10.
You need MIUI or cm7.

[Q} Good Stable Everyday ROM for Mini?

Hello Gang,
So I received a mint Galaxy Mini that was rolling around the office, and I want to do a custom ROM on it, little to no bloatware...something fast, and maybe a 5 icon touchwiz tray or nexus type. Any recommendations?
Cheers,
Paul

Official CM7 is slow. Try the new mebitek CM7. Much faster.
But I prefer CM9 by TheWisp. It's stable and it's battery life is much better than CM7.
Emanon v7 final
Jana Rom or New Experience are the best.

You mad bro??
cm7 is way more stable and is better battery juice savior than cm9/cm10.
And for the O.P.
as already said before try mebitek's latest cm7 build.

Which of those would you recommend as an everyday driver for someone with technophobia?
My sis has asked me to update her i9000, she's currently on the latest stock GB.
Her main uses are Facebook, WhatsApp, Skype, Viber and Music.
She's not very good at using task managers to keep the number running apps down to a minimum so Roms with good garbage collection would be a bonus.
Thanks.

CM 10.1 Is probably slowest of them all. It dissapointed me. I have not tried hellybean yet but I can say that SlimBean with SQLite optimization and Slimmer pack is smoothest ROM I have ever used.
Talking about SGS you want to upgrade.. If your sister isn't using phone much, GB is perfect choise. It has better battery life than any JB ROM, and Android manages itself with RAM, so don't worry.

Ynt: Most lightweight ROM!
If she's using just these(whatsapp, facebook, skype etc..)
Perfect choice is GB mate...
Because;
ICS custom roms were sooo fast but i dont know what happened in jb.Speed of it(with no oc) is not much better than GB...
Btw you said she's on latest stock GB.Can you give us some details, buildnumber of rom etc?
Because i assume that she's not on JW9 which is the best value pack rom out I'll post download link if you want to upgrade to that.
