Try to connect your phone to PC while pressing on vol. Up
And wait for blue light
If you see blue light ....
You have a chance
Note: be sure that your drivers installed on PC

Dropped my Note 5 tonight, and now screen won't turn on, blue notification light is always on, and my PC won't recognize it when I plug it in. Tried using Samsung "Find My Phone" and it couldn't locate it on the network. Phone has been on the charger, so it's not the battery.
Before I have to send it back (insurance), is there a way I can access the data on the internal SD card?

There's really nothing you can do at this point because the phones done for.. If its that important maybe a professional phone repair shop can open the phone and get it another way.
