So, any Black Ops players?
What do you think of the biggest console game of all time?

It's cool, but I think Halo is a bigger title than Black Ops. Just my opinion. I do love Black Ops single player though because it is really really engaging.

Well, all versions of COD are played more and more often than any Halo title on XBL, so I doubt that. Plus, Bungie is a terrible company that churns out GARBAGE, so let's stop talking about them.

I hope you don't mean brainwashing the public in an attempt to convince people to join the US army. Honestly, I'm amongst many who say, excuse me, KNOW that most of the US army is borderline mentally retarded. I love the COD series and I don't think it is at all a brainwashing device like that. There's other titles for that.

I was good at Halo. I maintained at least a 1.4 KTD ratio. It was frustrating because Bungie constantly removed the best multiplayer gametypes and listened to all the complaining from little kiddies. American kids are the worst nowadays, my friend. The worst.

I'm a man of numbers. COD blows Halo out of the water ever since COD4. I loved the story in Halo and thought it had great potential. Too bad Bungie got in the way of that...

I'm also a man of numbers, but would prefer Halo, in terms of content and multilayer. Kills and death do not mean anything in video games when it comes to competition.

I'm actually surprised to see you say that. KTD ratios are pretty much everything. Your probability of winning anything is increased tenfold with a high KTD ratio, let alone increased significantly if your KTD ratio is above 1. And once Bungie messed with the multiplayer gametypes, forget about a unforgettable experience; it sucks now.

I've won games in halo while the other team had more kills. Samething with Call of Duty. Kills only matter when its gametypes such Team Deathmatch or slayer

I've played Counterstrike competitively (for money) and KTD ratios matter. I've played all other FPS games as a hobby and KTD ratios matter.
I'm afraid you're just offering your own personal opinion. I'm the only one with numbers to back it up.

New SciFi book, akin to Ender's Game

Hey guys/gals,
Just thought I'd throw this out for anyone who's interested. I found an awesome book by an indie-author that I really enjoy.
It's not related to Ender at all, but I can't help but think the story was inspired by the book we love so much.
He just dropped the price on it to $.99 for Kindle/Nook. Hah, I purchased the hardback for $14 back in December. =]

You really should. The reviews on Amazon are impeccable. I think the only non-5 stars came from when the book was entered in an Amazon contest, and they only got to read part of the first chapter.
It really is a book that is hard to put down.

Kind of frustrating that books like that have to be self-published, it's a really great story.
If you hop on over to the slickdeals.net thread I posted, the author actually came and found us. He mentions a couple things about releasing the next book.

I might buy a real copy just to support him haha.

In all seriousness, I want to make sure everything works before I pay any money. I still get force closes and log in errors multiple times a day on the XDA app as it is. Sometimes it doesn't even open and just sits on the splash screen 'waiting'. I would have donated a long time ago otherwise. I know it's just $.99, but still.

I can confirm that the xda premium app is fairly stable. Haven't encountered a FC yet.

I know what you're saying... I'm more of a "buy it now and if it doesnt work screwit" kinda guy especially if we're just talking about a buck. Either way, if the app works or doesnt work I supported the android market for what that's worth.

I think the standard Amazon gift cards can be used in the market. Unfortunately, Canada doesn't get the app store yet, so I couldn't tell you.

The laugh was worth it to me. I chuckle every time I launch it now. I intended to buy it anyway. You improved a Monday morning at a job I hate + an evening taken up by a 3 hour class with a paper from Hell.

It's a scam, and work by placebo. I tried it, and it makes you think it works. The trick where you have your hands in the back, and someone pushes down, at first you don't know how the person will push down, so your body loses balance, but the second time you know what force to expect and your body counteracts it.

Damn it now there is no way for me to cancel my order bought em for grandpa and grandma lol i though it was a scam aswell i am a very skeptical person when it comes to tv ads lol and will they ever get sued for selling something that does not work as they claim?
