Unless you have a backup, nothing, just have to workaround the new imei and lost warranty.
How did you corrupt it?

Corruptions already occurred so your original imei has been lost, there's no way to get it back.
Can I ask how you corrupted it?

After flashing stock firmware you can see your imei by going to keypad and typing *#06#

System Information dodgy.

Hello
I wanted to restore my note and looked around for an approprate restore file. I checked the PDA and other system things (See SS) . I couldnt see a file that matched all 3 settings. I bought my phone unlocked from China but the PDA tells me its from Germany. I dont want to mess it up because of a recent network lock after updating.
Any ideas? Thanks

There are no "automatic" backup files you could restore - you can only restores something if you or the previous owner made backups (with CWM).
So please explain what you mean with "restore"?

To answer your question - you didn't follow the instructions and bricked your phone
Read this:

I have read about someone that where able to restore it even though they hadn't backed it up, but i'm not an expert when it comes to that.

[Ques] Lose the IMEI after up CM 10.2.1

I'm having trouble after flash cm 10.2.1 rom from stock KK4. Now,my IMEI is: 004999010640000. Starup phone the CM is warning Lose IMEI faild. Please help for me restore my original IMEI
Use one of these Odin or Heimdall One Clicks to get back to Stock KK4. That has proven to restore the imei for several. Then once u r back and have the # restored, back it up in a few places, just in case u run into this problem again.

KK4 is stock GB, make a backup before you flash it using Titanium Backup.
Flashing KK4 should restore your IMEI. Once on it, make a backup (copy) of your efs folder before going back to CM. That way, if it happens again, you'll be able to restore it.

After going back to cm just copy efs folder again. need for set permission? Sorry for my English is bad
Once you are on Stock KK4, only then make a backup of the good efs folder. And after flashin cm or whatever rom, if you loose your imei, then you can restore the good backup from kk4.
There are some threads with tutorials somewhere in this forum and also apps on the Play Store that can be used as well.

There're a few as Slim rom after flash done no networks,no baseband, IMEI. Is the error due to EFS folder? and the problem is the same as mentioned above.

Stolen phone?
If both those options don't restore it, I'm not sure you can without a jtag.

He bought it brand new, and he did flash roms without backing up the /efs folder. I have the box with IMEI on it .
Is a jtag a tool that they use for hacking xbox 360?

Jtag is used to push ROMs/bootloaders into devices but I'm not even sure that would fix your problem if flashing stock KK4 doesn't fix it.

[Q] lost imei

I have nexus 6 in Canada.
I had android 5.0.1. I know it was 5.0.x stock - not OTA updated.
I decided to install chroma rom using the thread here.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-6/development/rom-chroma-01-11-2015-t3000003
I installed twrp, and chroma.
I followed the instructions and it worked.
I didn't flash a radio myself. just the chroma rom, gapps, and supersu.
It worked yesterday.
This morning I got a message that android phone app stopped.
I could not make phone calls or sms.
I didn't put much thought into the error message.
I wanted something more stock and I just installed lightrom.
I only installed lightrom, no other flashing.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-6/development/rom-5-1lightromstock-lmy47e-03-19-2015-t3059493
The problem persists -- no phone calls or sms.
now:
I looked at my about phone in the settings and it says unknown IMEI.
Any pointers to how I can fix this?
Did you flash correct radio ?
Can you see your imei ?
If nothing works flash latest stock.

What does it say when you type *#06* into the dialer
I see unknown imei in settings about phone status imei info.
I didn't flash a radio individually. I don't know if one of the roms flashed a radio with it.

Update:
I had made a twrp backup of the efs partition. I restored it.
Now the phone calls, sms, and everything works.
Anyone know why it lost the imei?
It was working, I didn't flash anything but the imei disappeared.

hi david,
i have same problem, lost my imei, and unknown baseband
can you upload "twrp backup of the efs partition" please...
i hope that can help me too
david please share efs backup from twrp, hope it help others
His efs backup will not help others. It is unique to his device and will only work for his. Its basically a I'd number. Loosing an imei is serious stuff and makes your phone useless. I'm glad you had a backup. Now I'm curious how so it don't happen to others. Flashing radios won't wipe efs.

Should I make backup of EFS partition from time to time? Is it change? Is it depend on ROM? I made a backup after I unboxed Nexus. I have EFS backup on my phone, notebook and external hard drive... I hope it is safe
I had the same issue with a Galaxy S5 a while ago, I had to search and find a IMEI repair tool, which I don't think you will find on XDA as it can be used for bad purposes. But they are out there.
You only need 1 backup but the question is how this is happening. I see a lot of threads about it. So its an issue that we all need to figure out how and get preventative measures figured out

From what I've heard, if you flash all of the stock components through ADB (ROM, bootloader, modem, etc), it will trigger a rebuild of the EFS. I'm not 100% sure of this, but I remember reading something along those lines. I believe the phone has a backup partition for the EFS (which contains the IMEI, MAC Addresses, etc).

As others have said. The EFS backup is unique to my device. It won't help you with yours.
If you absolutely cannot regenerate it with the method I said, warranty service is your best bet.

Never tried this myself, but here is a guide for imei recreation on a Samsung device. At the very least it will give you an idea of some additional things you might try.... http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s2/general/guide-recover-imei-9-steps-t1264021
