Where would you actually use it when the mini doesnt have any led button? It will only work on phones with capacitive led buttons and make use of them as notification led..

Maclaw posted in his latest ics rom as it supports bln control.so asked.

This function is useless because our SGM don't have any led.

INCREASE TOUCHSCREEN SENSITIVITY (no root)

Hey guys I found a coll app onarket that can increase the touch screen sensitivity of our mini. It is called sgs touchscreen booster but please don't o on its name cause it even works on our mini and can be downloaded from android market. Set sensitivity to 80 and motion filter to 70 remaining everything 0 and multi touch points to 2. Enjoy.

Be careful to use this app, wrong settings can make your screen feels like ****.
I used an app called 'nook screen recalibrate' to restore settings after this app troubled me.

Working.
But I'd prefer Adrenalin over this app.
Yes but sometimes adrenaline clash with other scripts and may cause.problems this is just a alternative for the sensitivity part from adrenaline even I mostly use adrenaline.

[Q] Skype videocalls on Galaxy mini?

Did anyone know how to make videocalls via skype on Samsung Galaxy Mini?
Thanks in advance.
Sent from my GT-S5570 using xda premium.
The galaxy mini has not the front camera then you can't do videocalls.
Sent with my Evil GT-S5570 from Hell
I know that, but some devices with only back camera supports skype videocalls.

Wow... That sounds great. I'm interesting about it too. Because, I think Galaxy Mini can't use skype for video call because has no front camera.
I'll wait it...
Can you post or sent me a pm with the link "ojas360"?
Thank you.

i think this skype have not feature of video call..because skype support ARMV7 cpu..and our mini is ARMV6..
if you want to do video call via mini..then search in youtube..i seen one video in which person tells that video call via mini..
So perhaps it is possible to use the back camera... Since it fc I just reinstalled it. Does calling sound choppy or could that be Internet connection?
Sent from my LG-P500 using xda premium
Use fring works perfect :beer: Skype will always force close mod version is for armv7
Sent from my GT-S5570 using xda premium
Video-calling needs compatible CPU (ARMv7). If your phone's CPU is not compatible, Skype will keep crashing/looping at login!*

As you can read from the info at the apps page, the app will not work on galaxy min because it is for ARMv7 based devices and galaxy mini has ARMv6 based processor.
So, you might try the Tango app from the play store.

[Q] How to enable Noise Cancelling during calls?

Tried some different f/w but none had the NC enabled...I´m using Paranoid Android...thank you.
TW (Touchwiz) based ROMs eg Ultimate ROM, have this feature. It can be enabled/disabled in dialer settings.
Sent from my GT-N7000 using xda premium
Well, if you're using PA, u will find it in the call settings
Call settings can be accessed from the dial pad by pressing the menu key -- Enable Noise suppression setting
Best of luck

Alternative to the missing notification led

I was wondering if a clever dev could use the botom lights from the buttons as an alternative to a dedicated led. Since the led is only usefull with the screen locked & off, the botom button lights could serve the same purpose. The buttons themselves would not be working, only the lights.
Could this idea work?
Sent from my GT-I8190 using xda app-developers app
You may try to use noLED application
Good idea, but no-one has program for it yet.

That's a kernel thing. It needs a kernel with bln (back light notification) support.

But it could be done... you're not saying no way
From what i understand this is a tricky one to develop. I will have to be patient :what:

I have used noLED but deleted it because. I don't like it.
Anyhow the idea that author suggests sounds great and very logic. I saw few apps that can turn off buttons backlight. So it can enabled via app
Sent from my GT-I8190 using xda app-developers app
You should check the ButtonLed thread. Its an app that is based on the Tasker app and it's made for phones that don't have led lights but have soft led buttons. But it doesn't work with our devices, because of the kernel security / limitations. I have contacted the developer of the app and he said that our device is similar to some s2 models, where the button leds can't be on while the screen is off.
So as I said before, we need new kernel with bln option.
